Hyggelig betjening, ansatte og bra service. Helt ok variasjon på frokost buffet. Men restauranten Flor De Sal var topp kvalitet, en matopplevelse! Rent og ryddig hotell, hygiene på topp. Fin basseng og uteområdet var fint! Tipp topp for spa, spesielt når det var dårlig vær og ikke basseng temperatur ute. Anbefaler hotellet, og vil gjerne komme tilbake i fremtiden! :)

It was a shame that the hotel used fake pictures of the gym. The photos on the website and online are AI generated and do not reflect the real gym, which has only one machine. I had to find another gym 10 miles away, pay €50 for the week, and drive 30 minutes each way. I booked this hotel specifically for the gym and the sauna, but the sauna was broken for the first three days. The jacuzzi was full of kids jumping and screaming, as was the pool. The hotel is far from the beach, so it does not matter if you get a partial or full beach view, it will not be worth the extra money. Overall, the hotel feels like three stars. It is very family friendly, but as a solo traveler, it was full of kids everywhere, screaming and just being kids, which is not what I wanted on my vacation. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of options, and one of the best hotel breakfasts I have ever had. I would give most of the employees five stars for their politeness and professionalism. I have never been treated so well by hotel staff, especially at the front desk. This was the main reason I did not try to leave and request a refund, despite the gym and sauna being unusable. I will not return due to these problems. One big tip for hotels that want to be five stars is to invest in the gym with basic but good quality equipment. Op alle vlakken bijna de perfectie, kamer supergroot, groot balkon, grote badkamer met Rituals producten. Zwembaden ( binnen en buiten en verwarmd) heel proper, mooi bemeubeld, gezellige zithoekjes. Toegang aan het mooie strand via trappen. A la carte restaurant top en heel gezellig! In november is het dorpje Olhos de Agua wel wat verlaten. Voor ons was alles TOP!

Great resort, friendly staff, food was great (we only had the breakfast on-site). A fabulous location with the cliff and the great beaches below. Just a couple of items that kept it from a 5 star experience. First - the jacuzzi - it is the same temp as the pool, which also was not heated - or at least not much. For a November visit, it was pretty much not usable. Second - while the area around it is great, access to the property is difficult, especially if you are going for dinner after a long day of walking. You have to walk almost 1/2 km from the nearest restaurant - not sure why a staircase was not installed. Lastly, and this is only a minor item, but almost all of the TV channels are German.

Die Zimmer sind wirklich 10/10 und super neu und hochwertig renoviert. Die Pool area ist 7/10. Leider ist die adults only Bereich mit gemütlichen Liegen immer belegt, weil hier gern schon ab 8uhr am Morgen die Liegen reserviert werden. Angeblich hat das Hotel, Mitarbeiter, die das kontrollieren und dagegen angehen. Diese haben wir aber eine Woche nicht gesehen. Schade, dass es soetwas überhaupt braucht, liebe Mitreisende! Das Buffet war großzügig und vielfältig. Wir haben jedoch nur einmal dort gegessen und waren sonst auswärts essen oder haben den roomservice genutzt. Das Frühstück bot alles eines klassischen Hotelfrühstücks. Das Personal war überwiegend freundlich. Manchmal gab es etwas Kommunikationsprobleme, da nur das einfachste auf Englisch verstanden wurde.

Very nice hotel. We visited in late November so enjoyed lying by the outdoor pool but swimming inside! Big indoor pool and sauna. Did one of the classes which was good, and played tennis. Broad range of food. House wines were ok and not expensive. Bed was enormous. Only issue was air con was on heating mode and we were too hot, even with it off. Slept with door open.

Great place to relax in a quite environment. Food is good, service is good. Could improve in having a better gym and in enabling accesses to the rooms so that guests do not need to walk so much to get from the pool to their bedrooms. Air conditioning and wifi are not optimal.

Staff are hospitable. Hotel itself is clean and nice, a la crate restaurant and bar were good. But the pool is unusable for me. It’s freezing cold. There were about 200 people around the pool and maybe one or two at a time using it. I couldn’t even get in it was that cold. There is an indoor one that is heated but obviously the outdoor one is nicer Also for the bbq (which we couldn’t try) and the a la carte restaurant you have to book before you arrive as everyone else does and there are not many spaces available. Won’t be back.

Fabulous. Very safe area and the locals are friendly. The hotel itself is super clean, the staff is attentive, and the accommodations are nice. We stayed in August so the room was a bit hotter than I would have liked, but not uncomfortably hot.

Fantastic hotel! I’m a fussy ex hotel manager and this place certainly didn’t disappoint. Welcome drinks on arrival, foyer and public spaces spotlessly clean, large bedroom (with the biggest bed I’ve ever slept in), excellent housekeeper, restaurant had a large variety of foods to suit all appetites, waiting staff very attentive. Overall an excellent stay. Looking forward to returning.

Beautiful, contemporary, stylish, clean. Dining staff needs a bit improvement on service, otherwise good is excellent. Just opened after renovation so understand and totally acceptable, as we were there on the first week. Felt private and exclusive. Happy with location, in the center of Algarve and accessible within 30-45 min to major sightseeing locations.

Lovely staff and nice hotel but management refused to turn on the A/C in the room, making the room temp very uncomfortable. Very poor.

Das Zimmer hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Zimmer waren groß und geräumig sowie sehr modern und schön eingerichtet. Man sieht auf jeden Fall, dass das Hotel frisch renoviert ist. Auch der Eingangsbereich des Hotels sieht sehr ansprechend aus. Das Personal war immer sehr nett, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Pool hat uns auch gut gefallen. Man hat immer eine Liege gefunden und es war sehr ruhig und angenehm dort. Allerdings war das Wasser relativ kalt. Das Meer war weiter weg, als wir uns das vorgestellt hatten. Man muss einige Treppenstufen hinunter laufen, um dort anzukommen. Dadurch waren wir zum Baden dann gar nicht am Meer. Das Frühstück war ok. Die Auswahl war zwar groß aber im Prinzip jeden Tag das gleiche. Wir hätten uns dort mehr Abwechslung gewünscht. Alles in allem hat uns das Hotel sehr gut gefallen und wir empfehlen es weiter. Möchte man allerdings gerne jeden Tag im Meer baden, ist es unserer Meinung nach nicht das perfekte Hotel aufgrund der Entfernung.

La habitación es muy cómoda y amplia, además bastante silenciosa. El buffet de desayuno y cena bastante completo, aunque algunas de las cosas nos resultaron bastante insípidas. Para nosotros eso no es un problema ya que lo que más nos gusta es la verdura, ensaladas y productos frescos a la plancha, así que en ese aspecto perfecto, pues los productos son de calidad. Del entorno, lo que merece la pena es la playa de Falesia, a la que no tiene buen acceso, pues hay que pasar por un largo trozo de piedras, o dar un rodeo muy grande para llegar a ella. Esto puede ser un problema para personas con problemas de movilidad. El pueblo en sí no tiene nada de interés. Tienen un bar con un piano y me llevé una grata sorpresa viendo por la mañana había un pianista tocando, pensé que estaba contratado por el hotel, pero no, era un huésped, al que por cierto le pusieron la música de ambiente y por tanto tuvo que dejar de tocar. Una lástima, ya que era muy agradable escuchar ese piano en directo.

While looking stunning in pictures from the outside, the property is just OK in person. Rooms are dated and don't offer 4-star amenities. Terrible limp pillows, rough sheets, and lack of proper toiletries made it feel like maybe a 3-star hotel. There are no lotions or conditioners offered. It appears they have the same stuff for both hand soap and shower gel/shampoo. They let people smoke on their balconies making it difficult to enjoy sitting outside or keeping porch doors open. There's no working AC and the room was getting really stuffy even in cooler weather (March) Not sure how that would work in hot summer months. The surrounding area is breathtaking but requires a lot of effort to get to (hundreds of steps and some rock climbing) Will be looking for a different resort in the area for our next vacation.

The airconditioning does not work! The rooms blow hot humid air, and it is centrally controlled, which we were told was set to 15 degrees c - so likely the pipes between the unit and the rooms needs insulation. The staff were mostly nice except Beatrice that told expedia she was doing something and we waited and called her 30mins later to her saying she can send a guy to bang some stuff in the room and then told us it still didn't work... if you like the heat stay there....

Great food, amenities and and surrounding beaches are beautiful. Only negative was the pillows were horrible and there is no a/c in the rooms from 12am to 10am. Made for very hot sleeps even with the door open and fan on, which was their solution.

There is a "family hotel" across the street with a DJ and loudspeaker system who plays and announces (loudly) all afternoon and into the evening. We heard this the afternoon we arrived and asked to have them move us away from the noise. The front desk would not move us but assured us the DJ stopped at 6 pm. He didn't. The 2nd night, he was still going at 9 pm, so my wife went down and insisted we be moved. They put us in a room away from the noise, which was pleasant. Overall, a nice hotel but be warned: there is NO direct beach access and it's hard to find. You must scramble down steep rocks to get to it, so not suitable for little kids or old people.

The hotel is very spacious, clean and located very conveniently with easy access to a nice stretch of beaches, breathtaking views and other amenities. We went on walks along the cliffs almost every day because the view was super nice. It was 21-23C and no rain so that made the stay really enjoyable.The rooms & beds are huge, comfy and cleaned every day. The food was fine but repetitive each day so by 3rd day it got boring. Now the bad feedback- They don't serve Water as part of Dinner, not even a glass of water, you have to buy a small bottle of water for 3euros or alcohol.Water should be part of the meal. No smart TVs so we couldn't connect our FireTV or stream anything on it. The cableTV BBC and another ENG channel so no choice but to listen to the news any time you want to watch some TV. for a long holiday this sort of sucks.The staff could be more polite, reception staff had no smile but kinda gave hosile vibes.The wait staff would be demanding rather than politely tell/ask about something. We ordered the wine package via the app to enjoy in the sitting area near the pool but were told that we could only collect it from the room and have to bring it ourselves to the seat, so we had to return to the room and wait for it and bring the ice bucket, glasses, bottle etc.when we opened it, another wait staff demanded that we couldn't open it there and we told him to speak to each other because the receptionist said we could have it wherever we were annoyed by this TBF.

I appreciate the cleanliness, but the check-in process was not satisfactory.

The property itself was lovely. The staff was not particularly well trained, especially out by the pools. They did not understand what you wanted to order and therefore frequently brought the wrong drink. They were also extremely slow. The free buffet breakfast was very good. The reservation dinner place was good, with well trained staff, but had a limited menu. The would not seat you without a reservation, even though the inside of the restaurant was empty every night.

We had an excellent stay. The service at the reception was perfect. The facilities as well. Would gladly come back any time!

The hotel is new and pretty, however two situations happened that made our experience bad. Unfortunately I fell one of the stairs of the hotel, the deck stairs is pretty narrow and extremely dark. I was provided with no assistance nor follow up. In addition to that, I booked a 1 night stay through expedia as a gift to my brother and sister-in-law. Unfortunately, at the time of the check-out they charged my brother another night, saying that the one through expedia wasn’t paid. Even with proof of payment they did not yet return the money to my brother who paid extra. It is being more than 2 weeks now and we continue to wait for the refund.

Hotel was extremely clean and the cleaning staff were always hard at work. Some of the staff were great, but we found majority of them struggled to smile or say hello. Their favourite word was “NO”, we weren’t told about the BBQ, which btw happened to be the last BBQ for the year and as we approached the staff they turned us away and told us it was fully booked… I mean there must of been 15-20 empty tables, but we accepted that it was fully booked and walked away. We booked a partial sea view room, but when we checked in and entered our room we felt that we were on top of a multi-storey car park and it genuinely felt like we were sat on top of the tarmac… not great and when we asked to have the room changed it was a “NO” and gave us delaying tactics “come and see us tomorrow, you might feel different in morning etc”… plus it would have been £10 extra per day to have the room changed…anyways safe to say that it worked and we remained in the room. In general ok hotel, but if you dislike something or have a complain there is absolutely no point raising it as it will be a “NO”…. No one goes over and beyond to make the stay memorable which is a shame as the location and the views are amazing.

Beautiful resort. Very quiet and relaxing. Staff were friendly and attentive. The app makes booking services, classes and requesting things like towels or room service very easy. Easy walk to the beach. My only negative comment is that the drink menu that was included in the all inclusive stay was limited and could use more variety.

Rnjoyed our first stay with Porto Blue Ocean, was an anniversary weekend and they suprised us with a nice bottle of Brut and chocolate strawberries. Hotel was super clean, well decorated and staff friendly and attentive. Food was good and as we stayed in Nov we practically had the place to ourselves. Got to enjoy the indoor pool and gym.

Rooms were very clean the maid staff that cleaned our rooms were outstanding!!! Only had one rude experience with Eloise at the front desk 😒 Anabel was extremely helpful and polite so was Andre thanks to them,,I would look for them for questions during my stay, Eloise could use some customer service!!!! Training, I definitely will return otherwise,,

Comfortable rooms. Very peaceful situation. Good selection of food at the buffet breakfast. A beautiful view of the coastline, but a longer walk to the beach than anticipated, so not great for everyone. Overall a relaxing stay.

Lovely resort style hotel. Pools, hottub were gorgeous. Excellent breakfast. We travelled around the area a lot, so we didn’t try the other restaurants. Great location near Old Town and Beach.

Hotel is good but the location is little far from Albufeira old town.

Lovely hotel. Good sized rooms, Maintained and cleaned to a very high standard. We loved the quality of food and the range too. Staff were very friendly and professional. The Algarve coastline is beautiful. There are fabulous beaches directly behind the hotel. The beaches are accessed via wooden steps because cliffs line much of the Algarve coastline. This may be an issue for the physically challenged. Fabulous hotel, we will return.

The hotel was a bit far from the old town but we use uber to get around and it’s cheap. The hotel was beautiful a lot of sitting areas inside and out as well dining options were great. Entertainment on the day we arrived was great. Staff were very friendly. Our room was big with a lot of storage. Overall it was a newly renovated hotel and it was beautifully done. Access thru the beach is by the next hotel which they own as well. It was quite a walk back up but not bad. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

Väldigt fräscht och fint hotell med fantastiskt läge vid stranden! Perfekt för en par-resa

First, the location is excellent. Walking distance to beautiful beaches - Falesia and Olhos de Água. The room was spacious and very clean. The food was good, a lot of variety - with the all included option. Nice pool area and a nice garden as well. Very nice resort overall, I would definitely go back.

Bon hôtel dans l'ensemble. Personnel assez aimable. Le gros point noir pour moi est la formule all inclusive qui n'a que le nom. Très peu de cocktails inclus. Pas de spritz par exemple. Et hormis daiquiri mojito et Pina colada rien d'exceptionnel. Et pas de petits gâteaux servis à l'apéritif ni olives, rien'. Gros bémol aussi sur les desserts. Pour un hôtel de cette catégorie, très peu de variété et peu de desserts pour le palais des français. Pour le prix dépensé, très elevé, je suis assez déçue des prestations.

Très bel hotel de type resort. Excellent déjeuner de type buffet avec chef pour faire des omelettes. Jus frais à tout les jours. Vin mousseux au déjeuner pour mimosa. Personnel sympathique. Je recommande et j’y retournerais avec plaisir. Belle et grande chambre propre

The room was spotless, hotel pools were lovely, great food and helpful staff. Breakfast was lovely, lots of choice. The only thing that annoyed us was the many people queuing to sit outside to eat there breakfast..the staff allowed them to gather literally over guests who had just started their breakfast, so it felt rushed. Plenty of spaces inside or the staff should of managed the queue if people are persistent on eating outside. Felt uncomfortable.

Very nice location and room quality but food quality for dinner was not very good. All meat items are overcooked and tough. French restaurant appetizers were lacking flavor and salty. Entree was very good.

Hotel rooms and facilities were excellent. Relaxed and chilled environment. Food quality and choice very good. Drinks overall good, but wine included in all inclusive was disappointing. Staff absolutely amazing.

Très bel endroit , refait récemment , les chambres sont grandes avec un joli balcon, les piscines superbes et la vue aussi Le restaurant gastronomique est très sympa, par contre le dîner “demi pension” manque un peu de diversité
