The hotel itself was nice enough. My issue was with the shuttle service. I selected this hotel specifically because it was close to the airport and offered a shuttle. When our flight was delayed, I called ahead to advise them of the delay and confirm that the shuttle would still be available. I was assured that it would. When we landed and were ready for pickup, I called again and was intially told that the shuttle was outside. When we didn’t see it, I called again and was told that I had misunderstood. The shuttle was out of service for the night and was not available. We were advised to “take a taxi” but a taxi wouldn’t take us that short of a distance. Because we had a lot of luggage (including an oversize piece) it was difficult to walk but we eventually had to borrow an airport luggage cart and navigate to the hotel at 1:00am through a busy traffic circle and cobblestone sidewalks. The cart tipped over a couple of times (once into a puddle), but we eventually made it to the hotel. My husband and I are in our mid-60’s. We had just arrived from a lovely time in the Azores. The overall experience with this however, made for a very frustrating and exhausting final night in Portugal.

The property is excellently located for access to the airport, With minimal luggage you can walk to and from terminal 1. There is also a shuttle service but the van is pretty small so you may have to wait for one or more trips. Our room was of good size and reasonably quiet. The included breakfast was very good. The restaurant also serves full meals at lunch and dinner. The prices are a little high but the full menu has some good choices. There is a spa on the -1 floor at the back of the building (not accessible from the main lobby elevator). It includes a pool, "hot tub", dry sauna and Turkish Bath. The pool was nice and held at about body temperature. The hot tub area was only slightly warmer than the pool but did include jets and air bubbles. The spa is free to use and includes a towel and locker key. However Bathing caps are required for men and women and are sold for 3 Euros each if you don't have your own. The staff and service were excellent. Overall, a great place to stay between flights.

Hotel is clean and well kept. Only stayed for 1 night while waiting for connecting flight, would have liked to stay longer. Pool and spa facilities clean and well kept, and even though hotel is short walk from the airport terminal, courtesy shuttle is useful as walk can be difficult with multiple luggage items due to pavement/walkways (an issue not related to the hotel).

Proximidade do aeroporto. Equipe muito profissional. Quarto impecável. Cafe da manha a partir das 4h da manhã ajudou bastante, uma vez que o aeroporto de Lisboa exige muita antecedência para realizar o embarque, principalmente para outros países fora da Europa. O hotel oferece transporte até o aeroporto a cada 15 minutos, recomendo que cheguem bem cedo, pois este transporte acomoda apenas 8 passageiros e as malas, além disso auxilia passageiros do hotel Melia e hotel Star Inn. Quem não tiver disponibilidade pode fazer uma caminhada de aproximadamente 10 minutos do aeroporto ao hotel.

My family and I came here for a family vacation and it was amazing! The rooms where amazing and the food at breakfast was delicious. The heated pool was great and family friendly. Overall this hotel is a wonderful pick if your looking for a family friendly place or a solo.

Check in was quick and the shuttle was great. Very helpful that it has an onsite bar and restaurant opened late as we were late arriving. Need a bigger transportation shuttle as there was a long line to take it to the airport in the morning.

Location next to the airport is great however we booked a “queen or 2 twin room” and were given a 2 twin room with zero warning at check in. It was literally my husband and I and in the past we’ve been asked which we prefer, however this was just forced on us. The room itself wasn’t very clean, there was mold in the shower and lots of dusty areas. Additionally it was extremely hot and loud. We kept checking to make sure the windows were closed because of all the road noise and heat despite the ac allegedly being on, it didn’t seem to be working very well. The noise was unexpected as we were on the fifth floor. You can’t use the pool without a swim cap which they will sell you for 3 euros, but the whole pool area didn’t seem clean as well therefore we skipped it. We’ve stayed at Melia properties before and this was somehow the worst one. I’m not one to write bad reviews I just wanted to be honest for future travelers as we had such an uncomfortable experience.

The condition of this hotel is deplorable. I honestly believe the positive reviews have to be fake. Our room had visible black mold, and a leaking shower door. The room itself was generally run down, and I saw debris under the bed. The hallway outside our room was in very poor repair. If it wasn’t for the fact that we arrived at 1am, I would have insisted on a different room, or left altogether. The only two positives were courteous staff and proximity to the airport, but this didn’t come close to compensating for the condition of this hotel.

Beautiful hotel very clean. Only 4stars because of the lack of privacy for bathroom.Opague glass doors for toilet and shower. If anyone enters the room they would be in the bathroom with you. I like my privacy and I don’t want to share my personal bathroom time with everyone in my room. Their breakfast buffet is excellent and everyone of the friendly staff will try to take care of your needs. Shuttle service to the airport is excellent and convenient.

リスボン到着が23:30という飛行機だったので、空港近くのこちらに1泊だけしました。空港から歩いて5分で着きます。道は空港からは緩やかな下り坂でスーツケースを持っていてもそれほど苦労なく歩いて行けます。部屋は広くはありませんが清潔で快適でした。部屋にはカプセル式のコーヒーメーカー、電気ケトルがあり無料のミネラルウォーターも1本ついていました。バスタブもあり移動の疲れを癒せます。歯ブラシもありました。空港近くで夜まで飛行機の騒音に悩まされるのかなと思っていましたが、深夜早朝は発着がない様子で、静かに休むことができました。朝食は種類が豊富で、緑の野菜もあり満足できます。朝食会場の外にはプールもあるようでした。価格も比較的安く、スタッフも親切でした。ロケーション的に観光には不向きですが、早朝深夜の飛行機を利用する場合にはかなりおすすめのホテルです。

As i said, the room was very clean but the beds were so uncomfortable. mattresses extra firm plus. not comfortable. Food was terrible. Vegetable soup. NO Probably from a can and watery. sent it back. Chicken Caesar salad had red pieces of chicken . Bad.. Margherita Pizza. it was a low end frozen cheese pizza overcooked. How can you serve this terrible food. I will post my experience about it. Excellent breakfast. Breakfast starting at 4:00 a.m. It took a while for dinner service though. The rooms are small but comfortable. My shower did not work properly but I was still content with the room. I would stay here again due to the proximity to the airport and the breakfast selections, which were amazing.

Hotel muito conveniente para uma rápida parada em Lisboa, fica praticamente no aeroporto, mas pegando o metrô na porta em meia hora está no centro. O check in e o check out são muito rápidos. A equipe simpática e eficiente. O quarto é confortável. O box do chuveiro podia ser maior. A janela de vidro duplo não estava com o vedamento perfeito, mas ouve-se pouco do trânsito.

Very convenient--short 5-minute walk from the airport in Lisbon. Good breakfast buffet. We didn't particularly like all of the glass doors/walls in the bathroom. That is an architectural design feature that can't die soon enough. There is also no proper door separating the bathroom from the rest of the hotel room, so there is nothing blocking out the light or noise from the bathroom if you have two people in the room and one of you is up much earlier or later than the other.

I’ve been coming to Melina for years. Always my favorite hotel in and out of Lisbon. But this time the service was just awful. Half the staff didn’t speak English and the other half were so rude and dismissive. My room was great. The food was great, as always. But the customer service has definitely plummeted. Sad to see. I would consider a different hotel next time.

When checking out at noon at the latest, why is «house keeping» knocking at the door at 8:30, alledgedly to ‘make up’ the room? Should I just let them in, do the job, and go back to bed? That way the housekeepers can do the job twice. Unbelivable.

We waited over 1/2 hour for our drinks in the bar and saw other people get their’s. As well my niece in the restaurant was served the incorrect meal. Food was good and once we finally got our drinks they were good too.

Perfect location for easy access to the airport. Requested early check in that was arranged for us very easily. We were also offered free breakfast as we needed to wait for a clean room! The front desk and the restaurant staff were absolutely amazing! Would definitely stay again.

It is right across the LIS airport. The hotel provides free shuttle service to the terminals. The location is excellent. The facility is up to international standards. The rooms are spacious and have everything you need. The staff is friendly and helpful. I wouldn’t mind staying longer in this hotel to explore all the facilities. The only thing I noticed during my one-night stay was the floor flooding from a shower, which is a drawback from a five-star rating.

Perfect location for the end of your Portugal visit. Airport shuttle runs every 15 Minutes, even though you can walk 5-6 minutes to the airport. Very convenient. The are a chain in Spain and Portugal.

Very comfortable room and bed! The location was perfect; close to airport with a shuttle every15 minutes (our stay was in November). Breakfast starts at 4 am, wow! You can definitely take advantage of the free breakfast and get on the shuttle to the airport. Where this hotel can improve is to have better lunch and dinner options in the bar. Our food was decent, but just average. The drinks there are very expensive for Lisbon in my opinion.

Close to airport with convenient shuttle. Clean hotel, great service. Appreciated the little touches like the complimentary cookies, chocolate candy for the kids and little bottles of Porto. Only complaint is the restaurant inside the hotel is only ok with slow service.
