Nice Inn. Little outside of downtown Elora. But convenience store, Subway and pizza place walking distance. Excellent restaurant 5 minute drive. Gas station near by. Owners nice and helpful. Lighting in parking lot behind building not the greatest. But overall a nice place to stay.

Adequate lodging for a place to sleep. Because they lock the front doors after 11p, there were many people banging on the glass patio doors of different rooms all night. Not the best sleep.

Stayed here last minute because of a snow storm, as we couldn’t drive home. There wasn’t much around but it was quick and convenient. The staff was nice, room was comfortable and they were quick to have the parking lot plowed in the morning so we could leave.

Broken door trim, mold in bathroom, paint pealing everywhere. Another guest was smoking in there room and stunk out the rest of the Inn.

Bathroom needs to be properly cleaned. Gunk all over the extractor fan. Bath faucet loose. Door to room sticks and not able to double lock. Furniture old and chipped. Room smelt of something oil? Cleaner?

Perfect location as close to everything. We had 4 rooms in total (family Christmas). I found the rooms very clean and most importantly, a very comfortable bed. Fridge and microwave in room but no coffee pot. Coffee is available in the lobby. Excellent choice for the money.

Was very convenient to everything. Didnt hear any noise from either the highway outside or inside the Inn which was fully booked. No coffee maker in the room. No one at front desk but number available to get ahold of someone.

Okay for an overnight, rooms are quite small and the bathroom is hard to turn around in. Careful in the shower, no slip prevention. The beds are on the stiffer side. The room picture showed an armchair, but just beds ....it gets uncomfortable to sit on a bed for too long. First floor has a walkout, which is nice but to the parking lot. The walls seemed quite thin, so keep conversations low and the second floor above is noisy..... maybe a second floor room would be quieter. Tim Hortons is next door as there's no coffee machine in the room .....good for overnight ....average at best.

The heating unit was set to 72°F we came back to the room it must have been 80°, although it felt good for a brief time, (outside temp -14°C), it became way too hot, I turned the unit to it's lowest setting, 61°F. The unit cycle on and off all night but room was comfortable thereafter.

Certainly! Here's a revised version of your review: "When we arrived, nobody was in the reception area, and upon returning around midnight, we found the door locked. Despite the cold weather, we had to wait outside for 10 minutes. When we finally reached the receptionist by phone, they seemed sleepy and instructed us to use the side door. We arrived late in the evening and the doors were locked. There wasn’t any information posted on what to do. We knocked and banged on the door, tried calling and drove around the building but as couldn’t find anyone to help. When my daughter called the next morning to ask for a refund the owner yelled and belittled her. Terrible service! Don’t stay here!!

Most of the time the front desk was unattended. The "breakfast" was a joke. The coffee terrible. I had a ground floor room (appreciated that he asked) but the tenants overhead marched around until 3:30 AM and I had to attend a wedding the next day, so needless to say, I would miss much in town or I would be sleep deprived and chose the later. The TV did not work.

Coffee was not on in morning; and no lights in the dark lobby, so ended up bypassing the "FREE COFFEE " as advertised. Maybe a short review by reception would have helped the new customers.

Clean comfortable hotel. Room was clean and comfortable. Has a fridge and microwave. The coffee bar was a different story. It was hard to figure out coffee maker. There is no cream or Coffee-Mate or the promise snacks that said would be there nobody around to help I thought we thought that was a little odd. Well I think there was a little false advertising going on.

Basic motel. It met our needs. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Room was clean. No coffee pot in the room, but if you wanted some there was coffee in the reception area.
