We had a truly wonderful time at this hotel. The location was perfect and absolutely beautiful — ideal for a family getaway. Our children loved everything about it! They had so much fun playing mini-golf and spending time at the kids’ playground. They truly had a blast. The hotel itself was lovely, clean, and welcoming, with every detail thought out for both adults and children. The restaurant was excellent — delicious food, great atmosphere, and even the kids enjoyed their meals, which doesn’t happen often! (Kids stay kids :) ) The hospitality was flawless from start to finish. The staff were incredibly kind, professional, and attentive. It was such a fantastic experience that we’ll have to come back. Thank you for making our stay so perfect!

Loved this hotel! We stayed in a family room with our 4 kids. We all loved the hotel - the Irish breakfast was fantastic, we had dinner at the restaurant and the food was good, we played mini golf, and the kids swam in the pool. Hotel is very nice and our family loved it!

Mooie schone ruime kamer met fraai sanitair. Goede bedden. Life muziek op het terras buiten. Ook 's avonds lekker gegeten in het restaurant (wel tafel reserveren); of je eet in de bar. Er is een mooi zwembad. Maar tot mijn grote spijt was de sauna kapot. Het ontbijt was uitstekend en zeer uitgebreid. Hier zal je een goed verblijf hebben !

Great hotel set in lovely grounds. Hotel decor and a very good standard. We had a bar meal in Healy's Bar which was excellent value for money and very good food. The Health centre also provided a great area to chill and relax.

The property is well appointed and characterful. The staff are engaging - a delight to work with. The dining area are their own reward - especially at breakfast. The evening mean will benefit from review - a sole salad option! 😞 The lockers at the Spa require repair - lockers that don't!? Otherwise the Spa is fabulous. 😀

Our stay was lovely but our bathroom could have been cleaner and updating is really needed . Found hair in bath tub when we arrived kinda off putting .. but overall we really enjoyed the stay our room was very spacious , which is lovely when u have 3 children

Really enjoyed our stay, room was excellent, bar food and breakfast good and staff very friendly. Would have no hesitation in booking again. Glad to see that their are some renovations happening as hotel is looking tired in a few areas but that would not put me off staying again. Hotel is a beautiful building in stunning grounds.

The hotel itself is fabulous, beautiful setting and wonderful grounds. The food for all meals was exceptional, but there was a bit of a delay with one of our kids meals. The rooms were spotless and beds really comfortable. A couple of issues, was the very noisy hallways at night, doors banging very loudy and children and adults very noisy up and down the hallways. The hall and stairs carpets badly needed to be hoovered and this didn't improve over our stay. The pool was quite cool but the changing areas were great. The staff were all very friendly and we would stay again.

What a lovely place. We had a fabulous time. Don't miss out on the crowder, the best we've had in Ireland. Beautifully clean with lovely furnishings. Excellent breakfast and friendly staff friendly staff who were so helpful. Dan Tranter

The hotel itself was nice and the receptionist on arrival was lovely. The room had an awful musty smell, even with the window opened the whole time we were there, you could still smell it everytime we entered the room. The bathroom and bedroom were both clean but the musty smell was not good. We should of complained when there but the hotel had to be aware of the issue as the cleaners would of smelt it but we definitely wont be staying there again.

We love everything this hotel has to offer for our family. It has everything you need for an enjoyable family break. Beautiful location, great food and a lovely atmosphere. We were very happy with our stay. Never one to complain I wish the hotel would install new door stoppers to prevent the room doors closing so loudly, that’s the only negative issue we had. Constantly hearing doors closing so loudly is not what you want to hear while on a break. Overall a lovely hotel

Lovely to be upgraded to a better room and nice views and super food in dinning areas. Only small concern was that the cupboard holding the fridge needed better ventilation so the fridge would work - when the door was shut it all got very hot making the fridge less efficient.

The hotel and grounds are beautiful. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. The evening meals were excellent. The breakfast was a buffet which was satisfactory but not the same quality as the evening meals. Overall though, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

My niece received a surprise proposal at Breaffy (both from the US and the 5th generation to be engaged on County Mayo soil) - both from the US and the staff was outstanding in their support. The staff , the grounds, the house, the engagement celebration and the follow up dinner that night was outstanding. Also really appreciated the lap pool and swam a half mile. If I have one complaint there was only one window to air my room out and it took a long time for it to get unstuffy. And this was at the beginning of May. Best to have more air circulation available- especially during the warmer months. Thank you Breaffy, for such a memorable time in every way.

Fabulous from start to finish. We had prepaid so check in and out were quick and easy. Staff were very helpful from reception to bar and restaurant staff. Breakfast was lovely as was the meal we had in the bar the night previous. Would highly recommend

Staff were helpful and friendly. However the lasting memory was of an expensive stay and the quality of the hotel did not live up to the rate being charged. There were other smaller things such as the bar food closing early and the cleaning of the bar floor with strong chemical while the bar was open and guests were having a drink. But these are not the main issue which was the cost of the stay.

Staff were very helpful and room was to a fantastic standard, breakfast to room in the morning was also very well appointed. Food in restaurant was very generous and fairly priced

Stayed in Breaffy House for three nights as we were attending a show locally. The accomodation was wonderful and the Hotel was warm and welcoming. The staff were absolutely first class and nothing was too much trouble (Thanks Adrian). The food was great and the fish actually tasted like fish.

We had a truly wonderful time at this hotel. The location was perfect and absolutely beautiful — ideal for a family getaway. Our children loved everything about it! They had so much fun playing mini-golf and spending time at the kids’ playground. They truly had a blast. The hotel itself was lovely, clean, and welcoming, with every detail thought out for both adults and children. The restaurant was excellent — delicious food, great atmosphere, and even the kids enjoyed their meals, which doesn’t happen often! (Kids stay kids :) ) The hospitality was flawless from start to finish. The staff were incredibly kind, professional, and attentive. It was such a fantastic experience that we’ll have to come back. Locally we went on the Castlebar Turlough Greenway and a visit to the national Museum for Country Life. Central location for exploring Mayo and Connemara.

Prachtig authentiek landgoed met een fraai modern hotelbedrijf. Prachtige ligging. Wandelingen op het landgoed. parkeren gratis op het terrein. Vriendelijke ontvangst. Great hotel set in lovely grounds. Hotel decor and a very good standard. We had a bar meal in Healy's Bar which was excellent value for money and very good food. The Health centre also provided a great area to chill and relax.

Really enjoyed our stay, room was excellent, bar food and breakfast good and staff very friendly. Would have no hesitation in booking again. Glad to see that their are some renovations happening as hotel is looking tired in a few areas but that would not put me off staying again. Hotel is a beautiful building in stunning grounds.

The hotel itself is fabulous, beautiful setting and wonderful grounds. The food for all meals was exceptional, but there was a bit of a delay with one of our kids meals. The rooms were spotless and beds really comfortable. A couple of issues, was the very noisy hallways at night, doors banging very loudy and children and adults very noisy up and down the hallways. The hall and stairs carpets badly needed to be hoovered and this didn't improve over our stay. The pool was quite cool but the changing areas were great. The staff were all very friendly and we would stay again.

Loved this hotel! We stayed in a family room with our 4 kids. We all loved the hotel - the Irish breakfast was fantastic, we had dinner at the restaurant and the food was good, we played mini golf, and the kids swam in the pool. Hotel is very nice and our family loved it!

Staff were helpful and friendly. However the lasting memory was of an expensive stay and the quality of the hotel did not live up to the rate being charged. There were other smaller things such as the bar food closing early and the cleaning of the bar floor with strong chemical while the bar was open and guests were having a drink. But these are not the main issue which was the cost of the stay.

The property is well appointed and characterful. The staff are engaging - a delight to work with. The dining area are their own reward - especially at breakfast. The evening mean will benefit from review - a sole salad option! 😞 The lockers at the Spa require repair - lockers that don't!? Otherwise the Spa is fabulous. 😀

Had a severe problem with doors slamming most of the night . Also some guests were completely out of control with alcohol ( hotel can’t do much) but the screaming and yelling at 11-2 am wasn’t nice.. also bring your own pillows unless you like FIRM! So all in all we wouldn’t stay there again..

Loved this hotel will definitely be back dv only issue was noise we were right above outside seating area .it was 29 ' and very hot so had to have windows open so was very noisy til 11pm but then was quiet . Staff excellent very comfortable
