Aspect Hotel Park West

We arrived early to leave our bags at reception, but as our rooms were ready we were able to check straight in. There was a very good choice of food at the buffet style breakfast. Evening meal in the restaurant was delicious. Very glad we decided to eat there.

Not super close to airport, but close to highway, so a good place to stay, for morning flight. Rooms clean, friendly staff and decent restaurant, on site.

Good parking facilities

The hotel was priced competitively, and convenient for the local rail station, allowing easy journeys into Dublin City Centre. Overall, this enabled a much cheaper option for staying in Dublin than the extortionate prices demanded by the city centre establishments. Only two issues, and not necessarily big ones at that. First was that the paintwork on the bathroom ceiling was peeling off, and really did need some urgent attention. The other was the fact that the hotel had no vending machines on site, and with no retail establishments anywhere near, a late night snack was out of the question.

Staff was excellent. The lift was broken, the room was pushing 80• F and there was no way to cool it down effectively. The room was also not that clean or updated, and the room had a smell that could only be described as unpleasant.

We kwamen veel te vroeg aan in het hotel en de receptionist heeft moeite gedaan om onze kamer uren eerder beschikbaar te maken. Zeer fijn! Ook de medewerkers bij het restaurant gedeelte zijn zeer vriendelijk. Het ontbijt is uitgebreid en goed. Kamers zijn ook schoon. Enig minpuntje is dat het vrij warm kan worden in de kamer en met open raam slapen (aan wegzijde) is niet goed mogelijk, het is te gehorig. Tip: een ventilator op de kamer beschikbaar stellen als airco plaatsen niet mogelijk is. Buiten het centrum gelegen, maar prima bereikbaar. Aangename sfeer in het hotel. Zeker n aanrader dus.

When I told the woman at check-in that we’d have to miss breakfast due to an earlier flight, she offered to have something prepared for us. While it was more of a box lunch than breakfast, it was much appreciated. Lunch in the restaurant was mediocre, and we had to ask for prices. There was a persistent odor of trash/dumpster in the restaurant and lobby.

We did not eat breakfast, but we took advantage of an afternoon meal and a couple of dinners. For the price of the food and the amount that was served, and considering there are few placed in the neighborhood to eat, the restaurant at Aspect took care of our needs. The room was clean, and the staff were nice and helpful.

Service was great but the room heating was just set too high and we were sweating the whole night despite keeping the window open

My room was quiet and spacious and I had lots of space and a comfortable room. It was well located to getting to the city centre.

On arrival we were upgraded to a bigger room which was very clean & comfy. TV had all the channels, Tea & coffee making facilities, fridge freezer, sink etc all you needed. Shower was lovely & hot. The only drawback to the room was that it was very hot, could do with some air conditioning.

Nice rooms, just too hot to sleep too well and the construction starts at 7am so I hope you like waking early. Staff where nice and helpful. Breakfast was ok and not too expensive.

I only have 1 issue and that was the room was so hot all the time. Unable to open the window very far either.

Great location next to the station 8 mins into city. Downside was no air con in room and on warm days not a great combination

The property was clean, the breakfast was great, but the staff seemed a little disengaged. I’m a friendly sort of man who smiles at people and is also polite, yet there seemed to be an inability for staff to engage unless spoken to directly and then the response tended to be short and curt (especially day front desk staff). Though when something was requested it was acted upon immediately. Not terrible just could be a little friendlier.

You only get 1 chance to make a first impression and the Aspect Hotel failed. On arrival at the desk the first thing was not a good afternoon, just you need to pay a damage waiver fee. I questioned what was damage waiver to be told everyone must pay this to cover damage to the room. My reply was who decides if damage was done and was told the duty manager, i said great then the duty manager can come and inspect the room now before we move in. Something amazing then happened i was told no deposit waiver was required. Not sure if this is a standard for all customers. The whole thing left a very sour taste and i had no confidence in the staff and the hotel after that. I paid for my stay in full on checking in as i just wanted to get to the room. We decided to check out a day early and on check out was told no refund would be given. I never asked for or wanted a refund, we just wanted to leave this hotel When i asked for my bill i was told, this could not given it to me untill the next day. I laughed and said unfortunately i would not be here. She eventually agreed to give me a made up invoice and email me the orignal which i have not recived as yet. Hotel is clean but the corridors smell of a strange odour. Postives is its very close to transport links

If you want good wifi dont come here if you want a bucket of ice and dont want to have to buy a bottle of wine dont come here and dont expect a refund if you check out early because your not happy theres no refrigerators in the room and you cant put anything in the hotels fridge they are all around poor service dont stay here its not worth the Aggravation. And its not close to anything completely in the middle of no where i stayed one night and got out of there and went to a way nicer hotel and the hotel i went to the service was way way above and beyond what i would ever expect so as to the aspect DONT EXPECT MUCH POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AVOID AT ALL COST worst hotel i have stayed at in the 6 yrs i have been coming to the beautiful country of Ireland if there was a no star rating i would of gave it for customer service

Really rude, unhelpful staff. Interacted with four or so and all were like that. Paid +&500 for one night and it was very shabby, few accomodations and not a great location, but overall this could have been helped with just a better attitude and more friendly and helpful nature from the staff

Lovely spacious rooms, extremely quiet. Nice restaurant and bar area. Close to train station and bus stops. Friendly, helpful staff. Perfect for what we needed

Good hotel, outside of city centre as is clear in the description, good value, good breakfast , plenty parking, pewceful surroundings with good access to motorway and 24 hour bus service. Train also nearby.

Courteous staff. Clean. Only a 3 minute walk to the Irish rail but the stop was for Heuston only. 7 minute drive to the Kylemore and Red Cow Luas stops. Nice but out of the way.

This is a modern property in a commercial park on the main ring road just outside Dublin, 15 minutes from Dublin airport. Good-sized rooms, friendly staff, and a decent on-site cafe, but there are few amenities in the immediate area and it´s a long way into the city if you don´t have a car. Having said that, it´s good value for money for short business stays or in transit to or from the airport. I´ll stay there again.

Decent enough hotel, with a large Bedroom. Nowhere near anything you want to visit in Dublin. Probably ideal for business stays in that area. Breakfast buffet not good. If you are on a trip to see the city, pay a bit more and stay closer to the centre

A solid hotel for a few days stay. Located at the west side of Dublin makes it a good starting point to drive into the rest of the country without having to go through the city traffic. A bus station is right in front of the hotel. We used it to get to downtown Dublin for our sightseeing tours. Cost 2.6 Euro per person, about 20 minutes drive. Would go here again.

O Hotel fica um pouco longe do centro de Dublin, porém, tem um ponto de ônibus em frente ao hotel, e a estação de ônibus fica a 1 minuto caminhando. Muito prático. De ônibus leva 50 minutos e custa em torno de EUR 2,60 por pessoa, e de táxi leva 30 minutos custando em torno de EUR 25-30,00 (horário noturno). O Hotel é muito confortável, chuveiro amplo, cama ampla, tudo maravilhoso. O café da manhã é excepcional, tem muitas opções. Em relação aos funcionários, tem os que são bem amistosos e outros nem tanto. No primeiro dia o rapaz que cuidava da parte do café da manhã foi bem rude, mas pode ter sido algo pontual. Se voltar a Dublin ficarei nesse mesmo hotel.

Great loxation for where i needed to be. Food was disappointing, same menu as my previous visit, but not as well prepared.

There was nothing around the hotel but it did have access to the bus going to the centre of Dublin just opposite the hotel. The restaurant advertised that they had freshly made pizzas which could even be ordered as takeaway's for the local community. However on our second evening we went to the restaurant and tried to order a pizza but was told they were not doing it that evening with no reason given!

We actually had a good stay. The staff were really kind and helpful during our stay. I would recommend avoiding the lunch buffet, at least if you’re vegetarian or pescatarian. I can’t speak to the meat options, but the vegetarian food was quite bad and there aren’t any good vegan options for dinner. Aspect had many things we liked - especially the ease of access by train and the bus to the airport. But wow, the food was a bummer.

We came to the hotel late evening and were really surprised how clean was hotel, how friendly was stuff and how comfortable beds and pillows were. All the workers were smiling, they do their best to make our staying as better as possible. Very good breakfast and food ala'cart in the evening was exelent

Room was clean, bathroom was large and clean. Food options were not great. Offered room service, but made us go get the food downstairs. Also it said on the menu that it would be charged to the room, but made us go back and get a credit card. Bed was clean and comfortable.

The food at the on-site restaurant was excellent. We were a group of 6 sampling many of the offered dishes. Each was very good.

Got a free room Upgrade on arrival. Bar area had a nice atmosphere. Food in the restaurant was great 👍
