Easy access to swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam room & sauna for relaxation. Super friendly staff, good food and music all in proximity, comfortable spacious room - what more can we ask for!

The hotel was beautiful, we wish we would have stayed longer. As Americans, there were a few things to get used to at the pool (caps need to be worn in the water, etc) but the staff was nice about pointing out the rules and provided caps to wear.

Nice looking property and not too far from Galway city, but not enough parking at this Hotel. We had to park in the overflow and this caused difficulty as my wife is disabled. The only disabled parking space we could find was taken up with an non permit holder. Also our room was really cold as the heating was not regulated to keep the temperature balanced. Sorry disappointing experience.

Perfectly as marketed. The property is well maintained, and provides a majestic Victorian experience. Breakfast is a solid Irish representation, staff is friendly, and dinner was pleasant. No Elevators but only one flight of stairs up or down. Garden level has a back entrance to avoid carrying luggage down or up the stairs to main entrance. The leisure center was a one stop shop - gym, sauna, steam room, hot tub and pool. Self serve Laundromat, restaurants and even a supermarket are within close proximity as well!!! And very close to Galway! Easy access (about one hour) to the Cliffs of Moher and the Burren

Lovely property, helpful staff, it had a fridge in the room which seems to be rare in Ireland from my experiences so far. Food was delicious and staff were amazing. Great place to relax, eat and drink. We didn’t get a chance to use the pool despite wanting to but it looked great.

Great spot to relax. One night trip, pool was wonderful, property well taken care of and room was nicely appointed and spacious. Beds were comfortable. We will return!

Beautiful property, really appreciated the full gym. remember to bring a swim cap if you plan to swim. Awesome value for the price, fairly convenient to Galway but removed enough to feel like the country

Hotel was pristine in every aspect. Room was big and had a couch and 1 seater, big tv on a mount which can be moved. Staff very friendly and lesiure centre was amazing. Would revisit without a doubt excellent.

Very disappointing . Decided to home to stay 1 night in this hotel as our drive home was 4.5 hours and wanted to be well rested. On arrival there was no parking available due to a Christmas party taking place- we then had to park in an apartment block approx. 100-200m away from the hotel and carry all of our suitcases across a main road in the rain and pitch black of night. The room was incredibly dated and not particularly clean. We didn’t want to make a fuss as we were only staying one night to get a good nights sleep. However, at approximately 1am we were woken up by the drunken cheers of the attendees of the Christmas party- 3 people were in the room beside us and through the paper thin walls we had to listen to yelling, laughing , singing and banging the walls until 3:40am. When we finally got back to sleep , were abruptly woken out of our sleep at 4:30am as one of the girls had forgotten her key card and decided to bang viciously on the door , screaming “Conor open the door” - this went on for over an hour until another attendee of the party came out to the corridor and began to curse and shout at them telling them to go to bed. Early morning, my wife and I decided enough was enough and went to checkout (exhausted)- when we complained at the desk the receptionist just said “ there was a Christmas party”, I explained we only stayed to get a good nights rest before our drive home, her reply was ,” I’ll make a note- was everything else ok”. All round , awful experience!

All staff were excellent at this property. It was super clean. Just one problem- the hairdryer was wires in so couldn’t be moved and the mirror was too far from it so it was difficult to blow dry your hair. Everything else great.

The hotel was beautiful from the outside and the spa staff were wonderful. The problem was in the room. The room had a bath mat with black mold on the bottom. The room and hotel had a very musty smell. We left our window open to try to air out the room. The antiseptic smell of the cleaning solutions made my daughter sick, so we did not have our room cleaned during our visit to try to air it out. If I had not already prepaid for our stay we would have changed hotels. In hindsight I wish I had taken a picture of the black mold on the bath mat but I didn't.

Befs and food excellent,as was room size But being subjected at about 7,15 am for the following 15 minutes to the intermittent movement of what sounded like a locomotive (presumably a housekeeping trolley) along the corridor of the floor above was vwey annoyong. There were blood dtains on one sey of bed linen. No biscuits and only 2 milk cartons for the tea tray in room.

This was one of the hotels on our stops through Ireland. There is no lift so you will have to carry your bags up a flight of stairs. Pack light! The room visually looks decent. The beds were comfy and it was quiet which was the only plus. Unfortunately the coffee spoons were dirty which leads me to believe that the cups and rest of the other items in the room were not clean. Nothing disposable so we just made sure we brought water bottles. The shower has to be one of the tightest showers I’ve ever been in. It’s smaller than a closet or even an RV shower. When you turn on the shower head the curtain starts to blow inward which then reduces the space to shower without having the dirty curtain cling to your wet body -gross- I had to shower by holding out my arm to keep the curtain from touching me. The hot water in the shower was almost nonexistent as well. The hair dryer is old and very sticky so don’t even bother touching it. I think it’s time they need to spend some time to pay attention to details. Skip this hotel. Not worth the money.

I liked the hotel, it is a nice place, good breakfast, dinner options, bar, friendly staff, well-sized rooms. The bathroom, however, was terrible. The little fan was completely overwhelmed with the dampness after taking a shower. We actually found a couple of silverfishes. They like it damp, we don't. The showerhead showed strong calcifications, I cleaned it to guide the water in the right directions. A sign on the wall said "Save the planet - put towels on the rack when using them again". But there was no rack. Two large towels, two small towels, and one tiny hook. Two faucets, either very hot or very cold, but no mixing for warm water possible. In summary, the bathroom needs a significant update. As much as we liked the overall hotel, the bathroom killed it.

The bathroom had a hand wash dispenser and shower wash - no other bathroom products. No water in the room. The fridge was not working for the water we bought. We invited friends to meet us at 11am and were told there was no ability to have a coffee or anything until 1pm. Generally the experience was like a grand 2 hotel. I went to share feedback to manager when I was leaving and he was very rude and swore at me and told me I was insulting him. It was a really bad experience, I was shocked by the way I was spoken too. I’ve stayed there before and it had been really good.

Chambre confortable, assez grande. Par contre pour le prix qui est quand même assez elevé 400 e pour deux nuits. Les rideaux ne sont pas occultant et la chambre était bruyante du fait que le bar en dessous soit ouvert tard et plein de monde. Sinon le personnel était sympathique. Le parking accessible, le petit déjeuné était bon.

This place was great! Easy parking access, great bar and restaurant, and very friendly staff. Only complaint is we had a room about as close to lobby as we could get, and yet somehow still the WiFi would not work with the television, making it mostly useless. Overall it was great and I would definitely return next time I was in the area.

We stayed at the Oranmore Lodge Hotel, Conference and Leisure Centre for 3 nights. Overall, it was a decent experience, but not without its shortcomings. The hotel is set in a (once) beautiful Victorian-style building with real character, but unfortunately, much of it feels dated and in need of a full refurbishment. The suite I stayed in had no real view — it looked directly onto the leisure centre, which was disappointing. Cleanliness throughout the premises could be improved, and common areas weren’t particularly well maintained. While the hotel is positioned as good value for money, it ultimately fell short of expectations. You’d be better off staying at a solid 3-star (newer) hotel for less — or if you're after something more special, consider paying a bit more for a true 4-star or castle experience in the region. With some investment and attention to detail, this hotel could really shine, but for now, it doesn't quite hit the mark.

A big room with plenty of space to move around in. The buffet breakfast was a delightful bonus. Good location and launching spot to duck into Galway or drive in the countryside to see all the wonderful sights. Only thing for me was that the room was quite warm and we struggled to cool it down even with the windows open. Other than that it was great.

It was an excellent stay just because of the friendly staff at the hotel. Very nice and polite. The restaurant staff who served us was excellent! We couldn’t tip her as we did not have cash and missed to include in the bill. She deserves a great recognition for her work.

Loads of noise from heating / air con room next door. Rang reception twice to try and sort got no where. Noise started about 7 pm went on till after 12 pm then again in the morning around 5 am. Would not recommend staying again.

The staff were not local so unable to help / problem solve travel questions/ directions. But we’re very sweet and kind. An extremely slow to drain shower/sink not dealt with during our stay. Breakfast foods were very good and staff very accommodating. Rooms were quite stuffy with the spring” heat wave”. Unable to leave windows open over night as pole lights from parking shone in windows, no fans available.

Loved the place and room. It was awesome. Unfortunately they were understaffed to accommodate our evening meal and we ended up leaving and going elsewhere to eat after waiting 30 min without being attended to for even a menu..

Middle of the road. Convenient to town. Hotel bar and restaurant very average. They ran out simple syrup for cocktails which has a limited offering to begin with.

The staff we’re very nice and helpful the lady at the front desk was very helpful and the waiters at breakfast were very polite and informative

We wish we could have stayed longer. The Oranmore was an excellent hotel, comfortable and clean. The our room was large and had everything we could have wanted. It had lovely facilities and plenty of free parking available. It was only a very short drive to Galway but you’d certainly be best to travel here by car.

Love pleasant hotel. Near to oranmore town centre, bus stop to galway city is a 2min walk, good selection for breakfast.

Wonderful place to stay, quiet with good restaurant and bar and a great gym. The staff went out of their way to be helpful. Be careful if using GPS to find, as it takes you into a housing estate, the entrance to the hotel is on the main road into Oranmore, not through the estate.

The Oranmore Lodge was right close to Galway without being in Galway. A quick drive and you were in Galway with the wonderful sites, shopping and market.

I needed somewhere near the Galway clinic to stay while my wife was there having tests and this hotel is only a 5 minute drive by car and also is on the bus route 404 which stops at the galway clinic. The overnight charge was very reasonable and the staff were great. The room itself was very comfortable.

Older hotel with character, yet very beautiful. Great staff and the food at the restaurant is very good.

Lovely hotel but very disappointed with the food in the restaurant. It wasn't the best. We ate there the first night byt decided to eat elsewhere the second night. No bar food available which was disappointing. The day we were leaving we wanted to order a quick lunch and asked for toasted sandwiches at 12.30pm and we were told they couldn't provide. We were about to leave when a lovely lady working there said she would ask the kitchen. They sorted us out which was great but as I said something as simple as this should be available as bar food. We sat in the bar for 2 hours and we were the only people there on a Sunday at lunchtime...... Definitely a missed opportunity.

Very old hotel, tv didnt work and food qas ok. Nice breakfast and very friendly staff. Breakfast only starts at 7.30 which is very when on a business trip and restaurant closes a little too early at 8.30pm. Good location.

Nice hotel- room was spacious. Kettle available in room for tea/coffee. Restaurant on site with delicious food and drink.

The property was okay and acceptable, but the service was awful. The pillow and blanket were terrible, and I was not satisfied. The breakfast options were limited, and even those were poorly prepared. I found hair in my breakfast, and instead of apologizing, they sarcastically asked if I wanted another one. I've never had such a bad experience.

A nice hotel, though a bit overpriced. I's about 5 miles from Galway city centre, so expect to pay for taxis or to drive. The bar was noisy, with a crowd of worse-for-wear golfers monopolising the area so we didn't hang about in there. However, I'm sure at other times it would be a nice place to sit and have a drink. Breakfast was good, though again a little bit expensive.
