The hotel was further from Kinsale than I expected but was able to get a shuttle bus to town but needed to get a taxi back. The pool area was having work and some facilities were out of action. Breakfast was lovely and the staff were so helpful and friendly. .

Very This was an amazing place. The room was comfortable. The view from our room was SPECTACULAR. The pool was big, clean and modern with sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. Breakfast buffet was complete with gluten free options and plant milk was available upon request. JOHN is the MAN. He welcomes you, keeps the restaurant and reception going, and even gave us a ride to Kinsale in hotel van. We would definitely go again. 👍

Beautiful resort like hotel just outside kinsale. While you have to drive to get to town, this is fairly easy to do. The views and service are great. Rooms are very nice. The gym and pool facilities are very nice, though open to the public (swim lessons etc).

Very enjoyable stay . Lovely spacious clean room. Very comfortable bed. Excellent bar food..had beef burger and fish and chips..tasty. Used the leisure facilities..pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. Nice water temperature and plenty of staff on hand keeping the whole area clean. The staff throughout the hotel were pleasant and helpful. Lovely spacious foyer to relax in. We'll be back

The property is situated in a beauriful remote area, and looks stunning from outside. The reception staff was very smart and helpful, and the room was beautiful. The gym is well equipped, however the sauna did not work and the steam room would benefit from an essential oil smell, rather than musty smell. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, my favourite being the handmade soda bread. Top quality food and perfect service. There are lovely walks around the place and the views are stunning, but I am sure I wrote that already. Very happy with our stay.

A place of calm and comfort. A large room with good facilities. The pool and spa area were very clean and there was great views from the pool area. The staff were caring and helpful and the morning buffet breakfast was devine. Having the breakfast on the terrace over looking the estuary was so peaceful.

A lovely hotel with fabulous staff, the pool & facilities are fantastic. Had dinner in the restaurant both nights, great choice, delicious food/drinks. Would recommend it for a lovely family or friends get away.

The only negative point was a mouldy shower that required attention and the absence of a toilet brush that is common in many hotels and I don’t understand. Overall the room was still great, clean and well looked after. We appreciated the complimentary water every night. We also loved the restaurant area: good food and great ambient. The swimming pool area was very nice and the location of the hotel phenomenal. A morning walk outside the hotel highly recommended.

Beautifully situated in hotel grounds on elevated site overlooking estuary. 5 minutes drive into Kinsale. Large modern rooms, clean with large bed and great views. Hotel reception and restaurant bright and airy. Dinner was average and breakfast on the first morning was awful. Self served cooked breakfast was warm at best and running low or out of components. Plates, although looked clean, had a gritty feel as if dishwasher not correctly functioning. Breakfast on the second day improved.

It is a modern, contemporary hotel very close to Kinsale with spacious, clean rooms, an open lobby area, adequate parking and a great balcony overlooking the water. The breakfast was great. The staff at the reception were very helpful and provided great recommendations. It's a ten minute drive to Kinsale.

This hotel is located a short drive away from Kinsale. It is not within easy walking distance of the harbour area, but this was not an issue for us since we had a car. The main advantages of this hotel were that it was quiet, modern, well maintained, had a very nice restaurant, and lots of parking. The staff were friendly and helpful. There were modern fitness facilities, but we did not use them. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

We booked two rooms and had a terrible experience. First, we had booked a sea view room. When we checked in they gave us the room, but it was not a sea view and they said they had no other sea view rooms available. The rooms were incredibly hot as were the halls. It was max of 65 outside...if they had just opened the windows, the rooms would have been more comfortable. The rooms were not well maintained. They looked dirty and old. One elevator did not work and there were stains on the carpets. The breakfast was terrible...inedible. Find another property in the beautiful town of Kinsale.

Great location to explore around Kinsale, and west Cork. Only a short drive to Cork city also. Clean room with a great view down to the sea. Arrived late but still got great bar food. Good breakfast included with plenty of choice. Staff couldn't be better. Looking forward to going back.

Overall a really great place. Staff really friendly and the food excellent. Rooms very comfortable and I had a fabulous night sleep. Not sure I’d pay the extra for a “sea view” room again- it was a pleasant view, yes there was some water - BUT at best a small inlet / bay - not the sea.

Great stay. Helpful staff. Little things at this level matter though - answering the phone when you’re in the middle of checking someone in isn’t a great look. And the room was uncomfortably warm, even with windows open or AC on max. The views on the other side would’ve been stunning looking East over Oyster Haven. West-facing you just have a car park. Request level 3 on the left (odd-numbered rooms I think). Bar menu was decent. Waiting staff there were brilliant!!!

Great hotel in a lovely rural location with great views. Staff were all very helpful and friendly. Food was great also and we were given a complimentary check out of 12 noon instead of 11am. Lovely waterfall feature in grounds. Close proximity by car to Kinsale. Would recommend.

One unhappy experience at reception with an offhand and rude male receptionist. The hotel apologized and everything since then has been perfect, so much so that we added another night.. dining room staff went the extra mile and were thoughtful, helpful and friendly.
One unhappy experience at reception with an offhand and rude male receptionist. The hotel apologized and everything since then has been perfect, so much so that we added another night.. dining room staff went the extra mile and were thoughtful, helpful and friendly.

Great location to explore around Kinsale, and west Cork. Only a short drive to Cork city also. Clean room with a great view down to the sea. Arrived late but still got great bar food. Good breakfast included with plenty of choice. Staff couldn't be better. Looking forward to going back.

Great stay. Helpful staff. Little things at this level matter though - answering the phone when you’re in the middle of checking someone in isn’t a great look. And the room was uncomfortably warm, even with windows open or AC on max. The views on the other side would’ve been stunning looking East over Oyster Haven. West-facing you just have a car park. Request level 3 on the left (odd-numbered rooms I think). Bar menu was decent. Waiting staff there were brilliant!!!

Beautifully situated in hotel grounds on elevated site overlooking estuary. 5 minutes drive into Kinsale. Large modern rooms, clean with large bed and great views. Hotel reception and restaurant bright and airy. Dinner was average and breakfast on the first morning was awful. Self served cooked breakfast was warm at best and running low or out of components. Plates, although looked clean, had a gritty feel as if dishwasher not correctly functioning. Breakfast on the second day improved.

Found it a long way and inconvenient to go to Kinsale. Limited amenities. Views were wonderful. Grounds were nice to walk. Unfortunately the weather was poor and i could see this would be a wonderful place in better weather.

The property is situated in a beauriful remote area, and looks stunning from outside. The reception staff was very smart and helpful, and the room was beautiful. The gym is well equipped, however the sauna did not work and the steam room would benefit from an essential oil smell, rather than musty smell. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, my favourite being the handmade soda bread. Top quality food and perfect service. There are lovely walks around the place and the views are stunning, but I am sure I wrote that already. Very happy with our stay.

We enjoyed our stay at Kinsale Hotel and Spa. It is a modern, contemporary hotel very close to Kinsale with spacious, clean rooms, an open lobby area, adequate parking and a great balcony overlooking the water. The breakfast was great. The staff at the reception were very helpful and provided great recommendations. It's a ten minute drive to Kinsale.

Great hotel in a lovely rural location with great views. Staff were all very helpful and friendly. Food was great also and we were given a complimentary check out of 12 noon instead of 11am. Lovely waterfall feature in grounds. Close proximity by car to Kinsale. Would recommend.

This hotel is located a short drive away from Kinsale. It is not within easy walking distance of the harbour area, but this was not an issue for us since we had a car. The main advantages of this hotel were that it was quiet, modern, well maintained, had a very nice restaurant, and lots of parking. The staff were friendly and helpful. There were modern fitness facilities, but we did not use them. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Very enjoyable stay . Lovely spacious clean room. Very comfortable bed. Excellent bar food..had beef burger and fish and chips..tasty. Used the leisure facilities..pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. Nice water temperature and plenty of staff on hand keeping the whole area clean. The staff throughout the hotel were pleasant and helpful. Lovely spacious foyer to relax in. We'll be back

Lovely location with beautiful views and gardens. Went to a wedding the food at the wedding was good. The only thing that let it down was the breakfast, which was well below standard, I stay again but next time will use room only a rate

A lovely hotel with fabulous staff, the pool & facilities are fantastic. Had dinner in the restaurant both nights, great choice, delicious food/drinks. Would recommend it for a lovely family or friends get away.

This hotel is quite a distance from the center of the city. However, the facility is quite nice including the rooms and restaurant. We had dinner in the restaurant and were impressed by the capable and attentive staff. The dinner was good and the breakfast the following morning was adequate.

We booked two rooms and had a terrible experience. First, we had booked a sea view room. When we checked in they gave us the room, but it was not a sea view and they said they had no other sea view rooms available. The rooms were incredibly hot as were the halls. It was max of 65 outside...if they had just opened the windows, the rooms would have been more comfortable. The rooms were not well maintained. They looked dirty and old. One elevator did not work and there were stains on the carpets. The breakfast was terrible...inedible. Find another property in the beautiful town of Kinsale.

Magnificent property- stunning views- lots of land around. Spa seems first class. Very close to town but our gps got us lost after returning from music in Kinsale. Clean room! Can’t comment on breakfast since we slept thru it but they gave us scones and coffee after hours . Too short a visit .
