We stopped overnight on our way to the ferry. The room was clean and comfortable. The lift was out of order and as I'm a wheelchair user I was concerned but the staff were extremely helpful giving us a ground floor room and sending breakfast to the room as we couldn't access the restaurant. My only criticism is the price of drinks in the bar was extortionate. We would stay again

Not what I was expecting I thought it would have a spa but it doesn’t I also had a problem with my hot water not working it got fixed the next day. It’s a little run down need to update a little and at less in my room they didn’t change my bedsheets for a few days just made the bed. Need an ice machine.

We pulled off the highway to a old building that looked abandoned. We were worried..... turns out you have to drive behind / to side of old building to get to the Lucan Spa Hotel. Hotel was good. Nice staff. Great breakfast included (glad because this hotel was a little pricey). When we left we drove down and it said we needed a code to exit property. Went back to receptionist who said no code on weekday and just to pull closer to gate and it would open. This would have been good to know before checking out. Overall decent stay if you have a vehicle

The semmed staff lovely, but it's the hotel's disrepair, we had damp patches in our room, curtains had stains in ten backing of them and off runners, one of the radiators wasnt even working, the furniture had digs and scarps in it, the bed runner had inground food in it on the back part, and its restaurant breakfast made us ill, and on top of that unless you know the location be warned its on top of a motorway, good for convenience but my god you heard trafiic day and night.

This property is very dated. Your feet stick to the carpet in the bedroom, the throw on the bed was clearly soiled. Was left on the bed for second night after room.was ckeaned. Overpowering odour of dampness and window couldnt be left open due to the motorway outside.

Ok hotel for the price. Bathroom looked dirty at first, but it was actually spots where the enamel had worn away on the tub and toilet. Bathroom needed a makeover. When they serviced our room they didn't leave any new rolls of toilet paper so I had to go ask for that. We had drunk the instant coffee and they replaced it with all decaf... At check out there was no one at the desk, no sign, no bell. I waited a few minutes and saw no one so I left the key on the desk.

Unfortunately although the room is spacious and good parking room was very close to motorway and the noise is an issue. However, if you keep the windows closed then the noise isn’t bad. For us it was hot day and had to keep windows open. Wasn’t a good night for us!!

Excellent service from friendly and helpful hotel staff. Room looked to be recently renovated and everything was clean and in good working order. Power outlets had USB A charging ports, but it would've been nice to have one universal/north american power plug in the room.

The picture looked like it was out in the country so would be quiet but it was right next to the motorway. Thank goodness for the triple glazing cutting out the road noise. Room was too hot overnight but we couldn't own the windows because of the road noise. But the staff were lovely.

Lots of parking, restaurant options and breakfast included with room (if you select that option). The hotel is old and a bit worn but my room and bathroom were clean and spacious. The pub dinner was good. Breakfast that was included with the room was decent as well. The staff is fantastic. Very friendly, attentive and professional.

People walking into your room in the middle of the night. Chambermaid walking in without knocking early in the morning. Food not as described in the menu, shower not working. Upgraded to bridal suite when the walk-ins happened, but even this room was very shabby, bathroom door wouldn't close, dirty in places and just needs general TLC. I would not have been a happy bride.

We have stayed here before and had a lovely time so had no problem booking again, however on arrival the woman on reception was very off hand asked about booking breakfast, but she really wasn’t interested. Yea tray not refilled and no one even bothered to ask if we enjoyed our stay. Poor show.

Located right near the motorway so easy to find. 20 minutes to the Grafton Street shopping / Temple Bar area! Beautiful property with amazing landscaping - quite welcoming! Bistro manager assisted us with a special request that was incredibly helpful! Great customer service!

Very limited continental breakfast choice. Low quality coffee with no opportunity to have a cappuccino or latte. Towels in the bathroom had dark hairs on them. No water pressure in the shower at all. When I mentioned this to reception they appeared to be already aware of this and quite dismissive.

Easy to find and heaps of parking available. The staff was excellent, very friendly and welcoming. Our room was clean, tidy and comfortable however the road noise was quite evident when you had the window open. The buffet breakfast was very good and great value for money.

Over all our stay was pleasant. The beds and pillows were good. There was no air conditioning so the room was kind of warm. I would not stay here in the summer when it’s hot outside (i am American and we are obsessive about our air conditioning). I did not like that we were only given one towel for every person. Normally that’s okay but the shower was not enclosed inside the bathroom. Therefore water just gets everywhere. The breakfast was about 12 dollars (ten euros) and we enjoyed it. Not a bad hotel. I would stay again. It’s about a 20 minute drive to Dublin.
