The room was not big, but the staff were very helpful and the common areas were nice. The hotel breakfast and coffee, which were included with the room, were a very welcome bonus.

These days, the difference between what you get within a certain price range at different places is rarely great. Hence, it all comes down to minor differences (in this case, for example, the lack of a plug for my shaver, a shower where the doors did not fit the size of the cabin, no extra blankets for cold nights etc.) and how attentive the staff are - and the quality of the breakfast. In this case, some attentiveness was lacking. While the room provided for our stay with our dog worked excellently for this, it seems the staff in arranging this forgot that we had booked for 3 people (two adults and a child) in addition to the dog. In any case, only amenities for two were provided. As for breakfast, it really needs to come into the 21st century. Not only was it impractically arranged, so people has to queue more than necessary, but it did not provide at all alternatives to animal products - indeed the staff looked at me like I was crazy when I asked for an alternative to butter (never mind milk, yoghurt etc. for the müsli).
