Liner alltid at hoteller er dyrevennlig, det er et stort pluss i boken min pluss at dere gjør litt stas på hunden ved å sette frem skål og litt godteri ❤️ Rask innsjekking og hyggelig personal. Trivelig hotell med trivelig beliggenhet. Veldig god frokost! Kommer gjerne tilbake hit igjen ☺️

This is a charming old hotel. It is clear that what can be done within the confines of the building structure, to keep up with modern needs, has been done. However, if you require the refinements of a modern hotel this is not going to tick your requirement boxes. Notably, as a couple one of whom has limited mobility, for us the room we were given was much smaller than a modern counterpart and did cause us some difficulties. The staff were very helpful, particularly in providing the loan when I discovered I had inadvertantly brought the wrong type of charger for our devices, including the mobility scooter. I did note that there are two dedicated electric charging spaces at the rear of the hotel. These were much in demand, and we only saw them in unoccupied once.

Bra beliggenhet, men veldig mye bråk utenifra. Ellers OK uten å tilby noe spesielt. Hadde superiorrom så selve rommet var OK, men badet lite. Restaurant og bar stengt. Måtte betale for parkeringen. Noe som føles smålig.

If arriving by train in Alingsas, the Grand Hotel’s location can’t be beaten. Our room was very quiet except for the sound of the squeaky elevator passing the third floor. The housekeeping staff keep the hotel spotless. Other pluses include a comfy bed and a kettle in the room. I love staying in older hotels with charm and character. The Grand Hotel has this in spades.

We stayed one night at this hotel. The location is great, right next to the station, and Alingsås is so small that eveything is walkable. The breakfast was also very good, and the staff very friendly. The room was fine, though the whole hotel feels a little dated.

Fint hotell med bra läge i Allingsås, speciellt om man är på genomresa och bara vill ha övernattning efter vägen. Vi fick rum i annexet, jag misstänker att rummen i huvudbyggnaden var bättre än vårat. Vi hade ändå helt ok rum men varmt och dålig ventilation (sommar). Trevlig personal i receptionen. Vi åkte tidigt och fick med oss en rejäl frukostpåse.

Absolutely lovely hotel, staff was incredibly nice. Breakfast buffet was excellent. My stay was a quick business visit, but after staying there i intend to go back to the Alingsäs Grand for a personal trip. Wonder historic hotel and charming town!

Really lovely old hotel within 3 minutes walk of the station. Spacious and comfortable and lovely staff. Slightly limited dinner menu but what we ate was delicious and good quality. Fabulous breakfasts too and comfy beds after walking the Gotaleden trail.

Mycket tillmötesgående och vänlig personal i receptionen. Fina rum. Sköna sängar . Däremot var jag inte nöjd med frukosten då jag bara äter vegetariskt och det fanns inga alternativ vare sig varmt ( prinskorv,köttbullar, bacon) eller kallt ((sill,kallskuret…. m m ) så där finns en hel del att utveckla. Lyhört i rummet. Frukosten kunde ha fått lite mer kärlek o omtanke....sylt o möjlighet att göra sig en rostad brödskiva hade inte varit fel.

Rummet var fint och ventilationen utmärkt. Det gick att få en lagom temperatur även en sommarnatt efter varma dagar. Frukosten var bra, inte minst de veganska våfflorna!

Bra beliggenhet, men veldig mye bråk utenifra. Ellers OK uten å tilby noe spesielt. Hadde superiorrom så selve rommet var OK, men badet lite. Restaurant og bar stengt. Måtte betale for parkeringen. Noe som føles smålig.

We stayed one night at this hotel. The location is great, right next to the station, and Alingsås is so small that eveything is walkable. The breakfast was also very good, and the staff very friendly. The room was fine, though the whole hotel feels a little dated.
