Very helpful people working at the hotel. Whish they had kakao during the morning buffé. The bathroom could be a bit more practical. Amazing building.

In my opinion, the quality of the hotel is not aligned with the price. Our room was small, very basic. Especially the bathroom, that was very old and not properly cleaned. Yes, rituals as soap, but I would have preferred some renovation. The sink was small and uncomfortable to use. Positive: we didn't hear anything from other rooms and the temperature in the room was fine. The design of the hotel and bar are very nice. Breakfast: many options to choose, also if you are gluten intolerant. Negative side: the hotel is too big for that small room. It was packed at 8.00. Loud, busy. Clients started to take their breakfast to the bar. For the price and category of the hotel, I think this is something that could be improved. Parking: I don't recommend using theirs. You have cheaper options nearby. Next time in Visby, I will look for a better option.

Breakfast was a disappointment. No bread available, no cutlery available, no clean tables available and quite ”dirty” to be honest.

Overall, our stay was disappointing and far below the standard we expected from a premium four-star hotel. While there were some positives, the overall experience did not feel good value for money. We had to change rooms because the first one had an unpleasant smell. The replacement was a large accessible room, but it lacked the quality and finish you would expect from a superior room. It felt poorly maintained and rather basic. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The beds, bedding, housekeeping, and breakfast were all good. However, the TV was outdated, with neither Smart TV nor casting capabilities. As compensation for the room change, we were promised complimentary access to the pool and sauna. Unfortunately, this had not been noted at check-out, so we had to ask for it. When we visited the spa, the men’s sauna had been switched off and was only lukewarm, which was another disappointment. Overall, the room standard, and attention to detail did not justify the price we paid.
