We had a twin room on the 5th floor. Access was via a tiny 1 person only lift or stairs. The room was clean and cozy, with great views out onto the street. The road was fairly quiet, so noise wasn't a problem. The beds were comfortable, but I would have preferred a bigger more supportive pillow. the bathroom was a little small, but adequately equipped with shower toilet and basin The shower was powerful and hot, but the floor got very wet whilst showering Breakfast was included in our stay, and served from 07.30-10.00. on our first morning, my daughter and I went to breakfast at 07.45, only to find no tables available, only some high stools at the breakfast bar not really suitable for a child. The breakfast room clearly doesn't have enough seats available if too many people decide to go at the same time. Fortunately, a table soon became available and we moved. Due to the size and layout of the room, only a limited selection of food was available. 2 types of cereal, a few pastries, french bread, 2 cold meats, sliced cheese, wrapped cheese portions, pate, butter, yoghurt, juices, tea and coffee. But this was ok, and what was available was very nice. The service at the hotel was outstanding. Both reception and breakfast room staff, definitely made you feel very welcome. I would recommend this hotel for a couple of night stay in Paris. It is in a good location just 10 minutes walk from Gare du Nord station. And less than 5 minutes from metro line 7 Poissoniere

Good Paris hotel. Location perfect for Gare du Nord/Metro. Typical miniscule lift so travel light or be prepared to take several trips with your luggage! Some nice places to eat nearby.

Die Residence du Pre ist ein liebeswürdiges, kleines Hotel mit Patina. Bei Zimmern in Paris erwarteten wir sehr kleine Räume und waren daher überrascht, dass unser Zimmer zumindest so gross war, dass man den Koffer aufklappen konnte. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und wurde während des Aufenthaltes auch regelmäßig gründlich gereinigt. Das Bad war ansprechend, mit ausreichend Ablageflächen und Wasserfalldusche mit ordentlich Druck. Unser Zimmer war im 6.Stock, der 1-Personen-Fahrstuhl ging nur bis zum 5. Stock. Die Treppe ist eng und gedreht. Beim Runtergehen gibt es einen Drehwurm. Die sehr freundliche Empfangsdame versicherte uns, dass die Zimmer ganz oben grösser seien, daher nahmen wir eine Treppe in Kauf. Man spricht Deutsch im Haus, natürlich auch französisch und englisch und kann einige Tipps für den Paris-Besuch einholen. In einem Parkhaus gibt es einen Hoteltarif, der gerne organisiert wird. Der Frühstücksraum ist klein, gelegentlich muss man auf einen Platz warten. Das Frühstück ist nicht ausladend aber gut, lecker Baguette und Croissants. Die Residence ist in einer ruhigen Strasse gelegen, Schlafen mit offenem Fenster ist keine Problem von der Lautstärke. Die nächste Metro ist ca. 200-300m entfernt. Es gibt viele Restaurants und Bars in Laufentfernung. Zur Sacre Coeur benötigt man ca. 15 min.

From Expedia, ApplicationThis hotel offers parking availability, but there is no parking available at all, if you find a spot on the street, that's it. once I had my car Parked up front on the street at 2 am When we got there, the manager told us that we needed to move our car before 6 am or we will be fined by the city. But he also said to us that outsiders may break the windows in our car and steal if we had values inside the car. After those comments, my wife & I decided to run away from that scary place. Don't go there if you drive or if you don't. Also, the elevator fits only one person with one suitcase, it is so tyne. If you are sleeping on the 6th floor you have to walk up with your suitcases from 5th floor. It was our case. We decided to leave this place. The manager before letting us go, charged one more night after it was already paid for two nights via Expedia. We think Places like this should not be allowed to be in Expedia. Such a great Application should verify better before accepting places like this. We don't recommend this place at all. On top of that, if you have the chance to see a brochure of this hotel, like the ones they offer there, you may think that you will be getting to an excellent place. but believe us, this place is not.

This is a 3 star hotel, it was very clean , the room wasn’t huge but it was perfectly sufficient for two. The reception staff were very helpful and we didn’t pay until the morning we left. Breakfast was good, not a huge selection but certainly enough. Metro station just a short walk away which served us well and the gare du nord was within walking distance. Would definitely recommend for a short stay.

Older property. No air conditioning which we didn’t realise. First room was not clean at all but staff able to move us to a different room that was clean although found toe nails on the floor. Kleinschalig. Zeer vriendelijk personeel. Kamers zijn klein maar superschoon en alles wat je nodig hebt is er. Het enige minpuntje is dat het er erg gehorig is. Wij hebben daar tijdens ons verblijf niet al te veel last van gehad.

We had an amazing stay. Our room was very clean and the beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable. The staff was amazing, super kind and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. It feels like you are staying at a bed and breakfast. A nice family feel. Will be back for sure!

Convenient location, immediate neighborhood area was pleasant and felt safe; well connected with public transportation. Hotel was clean but dated (benefit of this was historic bathroom design with ducks in wall tiles).

The hotel a short walk from the Gare du Nord and there are plenty of cafes and restaurants in the area. The room was comfortable and reasonably spacious for Paris. Noise of other guests in the hallway was a bit of a nuisance.

Kleines, sauberes Hotel in der Nähe vom Gare du Nord. Ebenso sind viele Restaurants und Einkaufsläden in Gehdistanz erreichbar. Freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Die Zimmer sind eher klein und sehr, sehr hellhörig. Das Frühstück sehr bescheiden. . Wer gerne früh zu Bett geht und sich auf ein abwechslungsreiches vielfältiges Frühstückbuffet freut, ist in diesem Hotel am falschen Ort.

Ein gut geführtes Hotel, dieczimmeg sind für Paris groß, das Badezimmer ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Betten etwas weich, aber das ist ja Geschmackssache. Sehr ruhig in einer Deitenstrasse gelegen, aber nur 3min von der Metro entfernt. Für uns war es sehr gut.

This is a 3 star hotel, it was very clean , the room wasn’t huge but it was perfectly sufficient for two. The reception staff were very helpful and we didn’t pay until the morning we left. Breakfast was good, not a huge selection but certainly enough. Metro station just a short walk away which served us well and the gare du nord was within walking distance. Would definitely recommend for a short stay.

A lovely hotel with newly renovated rooms. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Easy metro access to central Paris and a short walk from Gare du Nord. Le BB restaurant at the end of the street was very very good.

We had an amazing stay. Our room was very clean and the beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable. The staff was amazing, super kind and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. It feels like you are staying at a bed and breakfast. A nice family feel. Will be back for sure!

The elevator is just for 1 person, breakfast is very simple, the walls of the rooms are almost from paper, it is good for 1-2 nights stay

Kleines, sauberes Hotel in der Nähe vom Gare du Nord. Ebenso sind viele Restaurants und Einkaufsläden in Gehdistanz erreichbar. Freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Die Zimmer sind eher klein und sehr, sehr hellhörig. Das Frühstück sehr bescheiden. . Wer gerne früh zu Bett geht und sich auf ein abwechslungsreiches vielfältiges Frühstückbuffet freut, ist in diesem Hotel am falschen Ort.

I had mixed feelings about my stay at Résidence du Pré. On the positive side, the location is unbeatable. It’s incredibly convenient for getting around Paris, with great metro links and plenty of cafes nearby. It really serves as a perfect home base for sightseeing. However, the major downside is the lack of soundproofing. The walls are unfortunately very thin; I could hear almost everything from the neighboring rooms and the hallway, which made it hard to get a restful night's sleep. When I approached the front desk to ask for a room change, the staff member on duty spoke very little English, making it quite difficult to communicate my concerns. Eventually, I was told there were no other rooms available. If you are a heavy sleeper who prioritizes location above all else, this is a good value. If you’re sensitive to noise, you might want to look elsewhere or come prepared with high-quality earplugs.
