Hôtel se disant de 4 étoiles mais n'ayant pas rénové depuis plusieurs dizaines d'années. Les installations sont vétustes et les services laissent à désirer. Pourtant agréablement surpris par la bâtisse qui est un ancien palais, mais le parc est laissé à l'abandon. Il y a une vue sur mer qui oblige aussi d'être sur la route principale de Ercolano, avec ses klaxons, moteurs, et bruits intempestifs toute la nuit. Le petit bonus est le chien en face qui aime aboyer dès qu'une mouche passe. Concernant la mer, elle n'est pas très loin, on doit passer par des quartiers bizarres et enjamber la voie ferrée pour accéder au graal. Les installations extérieures ne sont plus utilisées mais laissées à la vue de tous et aux intempéries. Le petit déjeuner était diversifié mais pas gardé au frais, ni au chaud, à même la table de service. Les tables d'ailleurs, étaient gentiment ornées de mignonnes fourmis (à l'intérieur). La piscine a la bonne idée d'exister pas très propre, quand on ne voit pas le responsable vider en pleine journée des bidons de chlore...

Expedia re-booked us to this property when our original reservation fell through and I am so glad they did. Walking distance from the beach and the Herculean Ruins. The property itself was absolutely lovely - while being a little outdated (bathroom/shower area left lots to be be desired), the bed was super comfortable and the pool and landscape was beautiful! I walked through fountains, towers, and an amazing nature trail right on the property. Breakfast was provided each morning at no additional cost and the glass elevator surrounded by a marble staircase was breathtaking. The front desk helped arrange our pick-up and gave great suggestions for food options really close by. Property is only a 10 minute walk to the train to go to Pompeii - absolutely recommend this hotel!

This is a grand old building which could be (perhaps once was) a lovely hotel, set in grounds which could be (perhaps once were) beautiful. But everything is so poorly maintained and absolutely filthy everywhere that the hotel is barely fit for purpose. The chairs in the breakfast room are grimy as are the (paper) table cloths which are never changed. Breakfast consisted of dry bread and room temperature fruit which often seemed on the turn. Our room, like the rest of the hotel, was filthy - we asked for a sheet to cover the disgusting headboard. Everything metal (taps, shower, bins) is rusty. Toilet rolls, towels and sheets were rarely replaced. The floors were NEVER cleaned during our 10 day stay. We were initially allocated a room without a shower and when we filled the bath on arrival, it emptied itself and flooded the room. We were moved to a terrace room on day 2 with a shower that worked intermittently but the air con didn't work at all and we only had a fan - it was 45 degrees outside. Our terrace was decorated by dead plants in pots full of cigarettes, which was the same all around the property. The pool is nice but the few beds/tables are dilapidated. DO NOT venture to the underground toilet - the stairs are lined with used sanitary towels and the whole area is piled with broken furniture, fixtures, fittings and mirrors. Advertised as a four star hotel with bar and restaurant - there is no bar and the only evening dining was pizza available intermittently

Bonne literie. - Clim silencieuse et performante - Personnel disponible et agréable. - Petit déjeuner inclus classique mais assez complet. - Emplacement pratique pour visiter Herculanum (à 300m) et le Vésuve. - A 10/15 minutes à pied de 2 gares, donc pratique pour se rentre à Naples ou à Pompéi sans prendre la voiture. - Parking gratuit dans l'hôtel. La posizione abbastanza comoda per prendere la Circumvesuviana di Ercolano Scavi, grande struttura molto bella, parcheggio all'interno dell'immenso parco verde. Putroppo la televisione per vari motivi non era funzionante e anche l'ascensore è rimasto fermo il mattino, dopo un po' l'hanno potuto riavviare però.

Vi stortrivdes på detta charmiga hotell med fantastiska omgivningar. Hotellet är beläget i en bedårande park där även en fin pool finns. Stora umgängesytor både ute och inne. Vårt rum var gigantiskt med sköna (hårda) sängar och vacker havsutsikt. Bra frukost och mycket trevlig personal. Själva byggnaden är en bedagad skönhet med rötter i 1700-talet. Har säkert genomgått omfattande renoveringar, men det finns en del kvar att göra. Tyvärr finns varken restaurang eller bar trots att detta står i reklamen. Det gjorde inget eftersom det finns goda möjligheter att köpa mat och vin inom 5 - 10 min promenadavstånd. Personalen var gullig och hittade en flaska bubbel åt oss när vi ville fira en kväll. Badrummen kan verka lite sunkiga, men det är nog svårt att hålla olika avlagringar borta i detta svavel- och kalkrika område. Det var dock svårt att hitta fungerande kommunikationer. Lokaltågets station låg 2 km bort, vilket är långt i 30 graders värme. Vi lade därför mycket pengar på taxiresor, men då sparade vi tid och ork. Detta hotell var en mycket positiv upplevelse med sin stillsamma och lite högtidliga atmosfär.

Hôtel qui a du il y a quelques années offrir de belles prestations. Hôtel dans belle demeure avec un parc de belle taille, des fontaines, des statues, et même des restes archéologiques et une piscine de belle taille et bien exposée et un parking. Par contre, tout est vieillissant avec un entretien sommaire, ce qui est dommage et enlève de sa superbe à ce lieu. Mais ce qui nous le plus déçu ce sont les chambres, non pas pour le confort, très spacieuse avec une très belle hauteur sous plafond, équipée d’un petit frigo, belle salle de bain. Mais, notre séjour s’est déroulé fin août avec des températures avoisinantes les 30 degrés, nous avons été obligés d’ utiliser la climatisation. Celle-ci étant datée, elle n’était pas assez puissante, nous avons donc dû ouvrir les fenêtres mais avions le bruit de la rue avec un incessant mouvement de voitures et autres bruits extérieurs (chien aboyant très régulièrement), ces nuisances ont rendu les nuits difficiles. Par contre ménage fait tous les jours, petit déjeuner très correct.

We booked this hotel with no idea of what to expect other than what we had read in other reviews. We were pleasantly surprised at what we found. Large spacious rooms, comfortable beds, a good breakfast selection and welcoming staff. Although a little shabby chic and in need of a little attention don’t let this distract you from what is an overall good experience. When we stayed the swimming pool was out of action but by the end of the week was being refurbished. The surrounding areas of the town give you the experience of true Italian life. The local people are friendly and not once did we feel unsafe. If you’re prepared to do some walking and use the trains to get around it’s great. 2 adults and 2 grown up teenagers on the train to Sorrento from Ercolano Savi train station $13.60 one way. Great way to see the countryside. So in a nutshell, if you’re wanting a 5 star hotel this is not for you but if you’re wanting something more affordable then this is a great place to rest your head.

After reading the reviews we expected it to be a bit tatty. Our room was spacious, with two rooms for a family of 4. The balcony door was not secure and let in ants. Our belongings are covered in ants, we only realised how bad it was once we left for the airport. Our hand luggage is was crawling. Grim

Gorgeous hotel and grounds. The floors were not very clean and the bed back boards in one of our rooms was very stained. It looked terrible. One of our 3 rooms had no shower and just a hand held sprayer that could not be wall mounted. Staff was friendly and the free breakfast was wonderful. Just 5 minutes walk from here to Herculaneum! The neighborhood is dirty, littered, busy. Over all the hotel is gorgeous, just needs a thorough cleaning throughout and replace a few worn out or stained items. The grounds out back, including the pool are amazing! We appreciated the free parking, even for hours after check out while we walked to Herculaneum.

Optisch ein sehr schönes Hotel aber in die Jahre gekommen. Im Badezimmer war der Toilettensitz lose, ich weiß nicht wann die Whirlpoolwanne das letzte mal benutzt wurde, das Wasser lief sehr langsam rein und die Handbrause konnte man nicht zurückschieben. Fenster waren dreckig, die Fugen bei der Dusche könnten auch mal erneuert werden. Aber das Frühstück ging einfach mal gar nicht. Der Raum war wunderschön aber die Papiertischdecken waren dreckig und waren auch am nächsten Tag noch drauf, auch die Sitzfläche der Stühle waren sehr verkleckert. Das Personal stand gelangweilt am Rand als wenn ihnen alles zuviel war. Das italienisches Frühstück anders ist als deutsches ist mir klar aber das eingelegte Obst war am ersten Tag leider schon schlecht ( kann ich beurteilen weil ich es gegessen habe) und wurde dann am zweiten Tag, mit sichtbaren Schaum obendrauf, wieder hingestellt. Und auch das Wasser für Tee wurde in einer Keramikkanne hingestellt. Es war also bereits kalt als ich es mir eingegossen habe. Ansonsten ein sehr großes Grundstück mit großem Parkplatz. Einem Pool mit Bademeister.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! Extremely disappointed in this hotel. Overall condition was is disrepair. Lights not working, the entrance door frame to our room was broken and not secure, cleanliness was so bad, we had to wipe the cutlery before using any of it. Mold and holes in the shower ceiling, paint peeling off the walls. The main pool was dirty and there was no bar service. I will never, ever recommend this hotel to anyone,,,, ever. This should be renovated or torn down. Sorry we ever stayed here.

Man hatte eine sehr schlechte Internetberbindung. Trotz bemängeln hat sich nichts geändert. Tallerkner og bestik var ikke ordentlig rent, og dugene blev ikke skiftet i de dage, hvor vi var der. Morgenmads buffetten var mangelfuld - men kaffen var varm. Den ene stjerne, som jeg giver, går til personalet. De var uprofessionelle, men søde og venlige. Derudover er omgivelserne, hvor hotellet ligger ikke særlig gode. Hotellet ligger på en voldsom støjende og befærdet vej. Området flyder med alle mulige former for affald, hvilket er ret ulækkert. Og desuden er der ikke mange restauranter at vælge i mellem. The breakfast was not fresh. The building was unkempt and all the surrounding. It's a shame because it had lots of potential but no one is interested. The bathroom facilities were really old, rusty and the shower doors were not closing fully. It does need a good renovation.

L’hôtel est dans un état pitoyable. Les photos de présentation au moment de la réservation sont mensongères et trompeuses. Tout est laissé à l’abandon et le personnel complètement absent. What a great staff, friendly and helpful. This is an amazing property though it needs some maintenance and some TLC. Great location in the old part of town and very close to Herculium. View of the Med on one side, view of Visuvius on the other.

Lovely staff, great gardens. Rooms cleaned daily. Hike up the hill to the station. Huge bedroom, breakfast was adequate but no fresh bread even if we went down early. Sea view rooms are next to a busy road with sirens, traffic and horse and carts all night long, strongly recommend not booking them unless you are a very deep sleeper. For the price, excellent.

Shabby Chic with amazing grounds and views from the rooms of Naples Bay or Vesuvius. The building is one of a kind. It has faded elegance and beautiful decorative details that cannot be found in a modern hotel. There are cracks and wobbles and it needs money to refurbish and make it excellent. That said, if I wanted a base for Herculaneum, Pompeii, Naples, Sorrento again, I would happily stay at Miglio D'Oro Park Hotel again.

Hôtel qui a du il y a quelques années offrir de belles prestations. Hôtel dans belle demeure avec un parc de belle taille, des fontaines, des statues, et même des restes archéologiques et une piscine de belle taille et bien exposée et un parking. Par contre, tout est vieillissant avec un entretien sommaire, ce qui est dommage et enlève de sa superbe à ce lieu. Mais ce qui nous le plus déçu ce sont les chambres, non pas pour le confort, très spacieuse avec une très belle hauteur sous plafond, équipée d’un petit frigo, belle salle de bain. Mais, notre séjour s’est déroulé fin août avec des températures avoisinantes les 30 degrés, nous avons été obligés d’ utiliser la climatisation. Celle-ci étant datée, elle n’était pas assez puissante, nous avons donc dû ouvrir les fenêtres mais avions le bruit de la rue avec un incessant mouvement de voitures et autres bruits extérieurs (chien aboyant très régulièrement), ces nuisances ont rendu les nuits difficiles. Par contre ménage fait tous les jours, petit déjeuner très correct.

This property was BEAUTIFUL! Beautiful hotel and rooms. The only thing is that there’s barely anything to do in it’s surroundings, and it’s deceiving since this is NOT in Napoli, it’s in Ercolano which is a 20 min car ride from Napoli. Transportation from Napoli to Ercolano is very expensive, from 60-80€. Although the hotel is amazing, if you are staying in Napoli; this is not convenient unless you are prepared to face the challenges of the transportation

We came down and were greeted with "no show" as we had changed the date of arrival from 14 to 15 May. they had not arranged this. we were left sitting without any help and they just ignored us. no service. after a few hours, we got hold of Hotels.com, who sorted things out in the end. Got a room with a large balcony overlooking the grounds. Loved it! Breakfast wasn't that great but swimming pool was very nice an the grounds of the old villa, though not in great shape were enjoyable to wakk in. Very relaxing. A very short walk to the ruins of Herculaneum. Didn't realize that when I booked but it is a huge plus if they are on your to do list. Front desk was very helpful friendly.

Antiguo palacio reconvertido en hotel, agradecer la atención de la chica de recepción. Excepcional!!! Respecto a las instalaciones, destacar sobre todo la piscina. Rrecomiendo este hotel a todos los que viajen para visitar Nápoles , el parque arqueológico de herbolano, monte vesubio o Pompeya.

This hotel is stunningly beautiful, albeit has clearly seen better days. In many ways this adds to the charm (and the price - if fully restored this would be MUCH more expensive I am sure) The best thing though is the staff - incredibly helpful and friendly. The location is a short distance from the amazing ruins at Herculaneum and convenient for restaurants in the small town of Ercolano and a short (and cheap) train ride from Pompeii and Napoli

We came down and were greeted with "no show" as we had changed the date of arrival from 14 to 15 May. they had not arranged this. we were left sitting without any help and they just ignored us. no service. after a few hours, we got hold of Hotels.com, who sorted things out in the end. Good historic hotel. Staff did not know the area well. The room was not well maintained and we appreciate its an old historic building but when the lights in the bathroom above the shower does not work is can be dangerous showering. The air-conditioning did not work and when we asked for it to be fixed they just kept saying the engineer is coning when they knew he wasn't because the had not contacted the engineer. just lying. One of the bedside lights was broken and instead of just replacing it they left it in the wardrobe. The in room safe did not work and we asked if could be fixed they refused. We then asked if they could change our room and they again refused and after contacting Expedia they tried to talk to the hotel and were told if you don't like you can check out and find another hotel. Its such a shame as the hotel it self is nice but they maintenance is terrible. I call their maintenance guy Manuel like in faulty towers as he really could not fix anything. He came to fix the light above the shower and I had to help him because he was clueless. Avoid this hotel as its a nice but staff and maintenance completely useless. They would rather give you the run-around then help

What a great staff, friendly and helpful. This is an amazing property though it needs some maintenance and some TLC. Great location in the old part of town and very close to Herculium. View of the Med on one side, view of Visuvius on the other.

Lovely staff, great gardens. Rooms cleaned daily. Hike up the hill to the station. Huge bedroom, breakfast was adequate but no fresh bread even if we went down early. Sea view rooms are next to a busy road with sirens, traffic and horse and carts all night long, strongly recommend not booking them unless you are a very deep sleeper. For the price, excellent.

Vi stortrivdes på detta charmiga hotell med fantastiska omgivningar. Hotellet är beläget i en bedårande park där även en fin pool finns. Stora umgängesytor både ute och inne. Vårt rum var gigantiskt med sköna (hårda) sängar och vacker havsutsikt. Bra frukost och mycket trevlig personal. Själva byggnaden är en bedagad skönhet med rötter i 1700-talet. Har säkert genomgått omfattande renoveringar, men det finns en del kvar att göra. Tyvärr finns varken restaurang eller bar trots att detta står i reklamen. Det gjorde inget eftersom det finns goda möjligheter att köpa mat och vin inom 5 - 10 min promenadavstånd. Personalen var gullig och hittade en flaska bubbel åt oss när vi ville fira en kväll. Badrummen kan verka lite sunkiga, men det är nog svårt att hålla olika avlagringar borta i detta svavel- och kalkrika område. Det var dock svårt att hitta fungerande kommunikationer. Lokaltågets station låg 2 km bort, vilket är långt i 30 graders värme. Vi lade därför mycket pengar på taxiresor, men då sparade vi tid och ork. Detta hotell var en mycket positiv upplevelse med sin stillsamma och lite högtidliga atmosfär.

El edificio es precioso, en una casa solariega de época, con jardines, piscina y aparcamiento, pero necesita una reforma. Las habitaciones amplias y luminosas con grandes ventanales que no aislan mucho, la verdad, y techos altisimos. Limpias eso sí. El pueblo donde está no tiene nada de bonito, ni siquiera un paseo marítimo! y es bastante sucio (como Nápoles) Como viajamos con coche, nos gustó la ubicacion (Ercolano) porque está entre Pompeya y Nápoles, que era lo que queriamos visitar, y a un precio mas barato que los de su categoría en Nápoles. Tiene ruinas como Pompeya, muy bien conservadas, pero de menor envergadura.

Miglio d’Oro Park Hotel is in a prime location in Ercolano, perfect for visiting Herculaneum and exploring the region. It’s a 15-minute walk from Ercolano Scavi station, though Portici-Ercolano station offers more frequent and cheaper trains, about a 25-minute walk or a quick cab ride away. This property was BEAUTIFUL! Beautiful hotel and rooms. The only thing is that there’s barely anything to do in it’s surroundings, and it’s deceiving since this is NOT in Napoli, it’s in Ercolano which is a 20 min car ride from Napoli. Transportation from Napoli to Ercolano is very expensive, from 60-80€. Although the hotel is amazing, if you are staying in Napoli; this is not convenient unless you are prepared to face the challenges of the transportation

Hôtel se disant de 4 étoiles mais n'ayant pas rénové depuis plusieurs dizaines d'années. Les installations sont vétustes et les services laissent à désirer. Pourtant agréablement surpris par la bâtisse qui est un ancien palais, mais le parc est laissé à l'abandon. Il y a une vue sur mer qui oblige aussi d'être sur la route principale de Ercolano, avec ses klaxons, moteurs, et bruits intempestifs toute la nuit. Le petit bonus est le chien en face qui aime aboyer dès qu'une mouche passe. Concernant la mer, elle n'est pas très loin, on doit passer par des quartiers bizarres et enjamber la voie ferrée pour accéder au graal. Les installations extérieures ne sont plus utilisées mais laissées à la vue de tous et aux intempéries. Le petit déjeuner était diversifié mais pas gardé au frais, ni au chaud, à même la table de service. Les tables d'ailleurs, étaient gentiment ornées de mignonnes fourmis (à l'intérieur). La piscine a la bonne idée d'exister pas très propre, quand on ne voit pas le responsable vider en pleine journée des bidons de chlore...

The property is nice. Old with good grounds. But no direction of how to park. The breakfast is very ordinary and the staff even worse. They picked up anything that finished even though it was still 30 minutes to go be free breakfast ended. They served coffee as if they are making the beans and then making the coffee. Be aware!!! Not all rooms decorated. The first offered us was nothing like the photos on Expedia site. Very poor standard and unfinished and unsafe. Breakfast is substandard with out of date diary products served up. No hot food! Bread products often stale. No iron or ironing board, take your own iron and no tea/coffee making facilities in the room either. Which you would expect from a hotel nowadays. No bar, catering staff will serve beer and wine when serving evening meals. Outside those hours there is no service. Evening meals, not much choice and poor standard. We ordered a hot pork and vegetable dish that was stone cold. Charged 12 Euros for that one plate of food. It was very poor quality. The pool is open to the public, not the tranquil place as photographed on the site and very busy all day. Often the smell of Marijuana is present. Which only leaves the area when the hotel guests can use the pool in peace, at 7pm,. Which is when the pool is officially closed, apparently. The gardens and building is very run down. and situated next to a busy main road. The traffic noise is constant throughout the day and night for 24 hrs. Some of the serving staff were friendly. But was not enough to soften the underwhelming experience of staying in this hotel. The photographs depict a tranquil hotel. It is not! Our whole Naples experience was spoilt by our Hotel stay. I cannot recommend and should have a refund due to false representation on your website.

We stayed here for one night - it was a great and convienient location for visiting Herculanaeum and our "Horse Riding Naples" tour the following day. Parking was safe and secure. Our room was larger than expected with a great terrace. The pool was so fun - big and spacious with loungers and drinks service until 6pm. In the evening we ate in the restaurant. Only pizza was available, no other snacks or desserts, but it was good pizza :) There was live music playing the courtyard until about midnight. My husband and I went for a walk around the area after dinner. The hotel is quite nice, a slightly crumbly old grand villa that has seen better days, but clean. The area was not particularly welcoming after dark, and we failed to find a bar for a drink or a place for an icecream - quite delapidated and run down area. Buffet breakfast was standard, in a beautiful old dining room with huge high ceilings! Staff were friendly and helpful, as we've experienced all around beautiful Italy.

Forfærdeligt hotel; råd i døre og vinduer, puds der falder af væggene - både på værelset, på gangene og i restauranten. Det er virkelig misligeholdt og beskidt. Vores madrasser var total udhulede og trængte seriøst til at blive skiftet ud med nogle nye. Plastik haveborde i restauranten. Tallerkner og bestik var ikke ordentlig rent, og dugene blev ikke skiftet i de dage, hvor vi var der. Morgenmads buffetten var mangelfuld - men kaffen var varm. Den ene stjerne, som jeg giver, går til personalet. De var uprofessionelle, men søde og venlige. Derudover er omgivelserne, hvor hotellet ligger ikke særlig gode. Hotellet ligger på en voldsom støjende og befærdet vej. Området flyder med alle mulige former for affald, hvilket er ret ulækkert. Og desuden er der ikke mange restauranter at vælge i mellem. Vi undrer os meget over, hvordan det her hotel kan være vurderet til 4 stjerner. Der mangler helt sikkert kontrol med tingene.

We booked this hotel with no idea of what to expect other than what we had read in other reviews. We were pleasantly surprised at what we found. Large spacious rooms, comfortable beds, a good breakfast selection and welcoming staff. Although a little shabby chic and in need of a little attention don’t let this distract you from what is an overall good experience. When we stayed the swimming pool was out of action but by the end of the week was being refurbished. The surrounding areas of the town give you the experience of true Italian life. The local people are friendly and not once did we feel unsafe. If you’re prepared to do some walking and use the trains to get around it’s great. 2 adults and 2 grown up teenagers on the train to Sorrento from Ercolano Savi train station $13.60 one way. Great way to see the countryside. So in a nutshell, if you’re wanting a 5 star hotel this is not for you but if you’re wanting something more affordable then this is a great place to rest your head.

We enjoyed our stay.The food was very good, breakfast fine the staff friendly and helpful.An elegant hotel which seems to have been recently refurbished though the bathroom door was difficult to open wide as it caught on the floor.Very conveniently situated for Herculaneum, the railway station and the motorway network.We would stay again.

Je suis mitigée sur l hotel: il pourrait être 100 fois mieux s'il y avait un peu plus d'entretien des parties communes. Les chambres sont propres mais effectivement vieillissantes, les 2 lampes de chaque coté de notre lit ne fonctionnaient pas, le frigo non plus (nous avons signalé cela en début de sejour mais personne n'est venu, nous n avons pas voulu insister) la porte de la salle de bain fait un bruit atroce et la porte de douche est usée donc ça fuit. Points positifs: la vue à couper le souffle coté mer, la grandeur de la chambre et de la salle de bain, la gentillesse et l amabilite du personnel, la piscine. Gros point négatif: le petit dejeuner!! Le jambon et le fromage n'étaient vraiment pas bon (du jambon bas prix ultra fin et idem pour le fromage qui en plus était a moitie fondu) le pain de mie pas bon non plus et le café etait toujours tiède (au mieux) Dommage pour un pays qui a autant de choix de charcuterie et de fromages, c est vraiment un point à améliorer. Coté sucré c était bon.
Je suis mitigée sur l hotel: il pourrait être 100 fois mieux s'il y avait un peu plus d'entretien des parties communes. Les chambres sont propres mais effectivement vieillissantes, les 2 lampes de chaque coté de notre lit ne fonctionnaient pas, le frigo non plus (nous avons signalé cela en début de sejour mais personne n'est venu, nous n avons pas voulu insister) la porte de la salle de bain fait un bruit atroce et la porte de douche est usée donc ça fuit. Points positifs: la vue à couper le souffle coté mer, la grandeur de la chambre et de la salle de bain, la gentillesse et l amabilite du personnel, la piscine. Gros point négatif: le petit dejeuner!! Le jambon et le fromage n'étaient vraiment pas bon (du jambon bas prix ultra fin et idem pour le fromage qui en plus était a moitie fondu) le pain de mie pas bon non plus et le café etait toujours tiède (au mieux) Dommage pour un pays qui a autant de choix de charcuterie et de fromages, c est vraiment un point à améliorer. Coté sucré c était bon.

Got a room with a large balcony overlooking the grounds. Loved it! Breakfast wasn't that great but swimming pool was very nice an the grounds of the old villa, though not in great shape were enjoyable to wakk in. Very relaxing. A very short walk to the ruins of Herculaneum. Didn't realize that when I booked but it is a huge plus if they are on your to do list. Front desk was very helpful friendly.

Shabby chic Gone past it’s sell by date. On top of this the air conditioning was broken throughout the hotel. Only saving grace was Elenor, who went beyond to look after us and the situation - 5 star to her.

The grounds of the hotel are enormous, almost palatial and the room was incredibly spacious with a lovely view, but slightly run down. The air conditioning wasn't very cool, the controls for the jacuzzi didn't work and the door didn't lock Ercolano is a less affluent part of Italy but lying between Pompeii and Herculean makes it an interesting place to visit.

What a great staff, friendly and helpful. This is an amazing property though it needs some maintenance and some TLC. Great location in the old part of town and very close to Herculium. View of the Med on one side, view of Visuvius on the other.
