Hotel Serapo

Hotel Serapo is in a great location right on the beach. Many amenities are not open mid October. Private beach is closed, pool is closed. A bit confusing to figure out where the restaurant is. There are 2 buildings. The beds and pillows were evil. Nice staff.

Hotel con lido privato a pagamento. Il parcheggio dell’hotel costa 6 euro al giorno. Posizione invidiabile perché è praticamente sulla spiaggia. Colazione soddisfacente. Camera superior adeguata con bagno fornito del necessario e doccia ampia e comoda.un suggerimento: edicola in zona distante; si potrebbe organizzare un servizio in hotel o bar dell’hotel per i clienti. Prezzi medio- alti

We had the junior suite which faces the sea and it was lovely to sit on the balcony. Very well kept room and very clean. Staff was friendly. Very kind bartender. Parking is a huge plus.

Probably the worst stay as far as service and comfortable room in 30 years. I was there the third week of July. I am not sure if it was because I was American, but nearly everyone I met, other than one bartender and the guy at reception who checked me out the last morning, were rude and inattentive. I tried to eat lunch there twice and never received service. Other tables sat down after me and all were waited upon. I left after 15 minutes. The parking is a nightmare. Not sure if it standard or because it is the height of tourist season. Though they have parking for the hotel, it was overcrowded and the attendants were rarely available and rude, like they were doing me a favor. It took two full days for the air conditioner to make the room even a comfortable temperature. A small oscillating fan would have been a huge benefit. And the rooms are spartan at best. The most redeeming quality of the hotel is its location.

T te Piacevole soggiorno .. ottimo personale in reception sempre cordiali e puntuali… eccezionale posizione per accessibilità alla spiaggia del Serapo .. mare e paesaggio eccellente. Un po’ sacrificato lo spazio per i parcheggi.

After a long train ride check in was very unprofessional! I stood about an hour waiting to check in because they had a large check in event with kids which we understand but at one point only only lady was working on them and when two more got involved, one could’ve ventured off and help us which they didn’t. Finally a guy stepped in and helped but it wasn’t a proper welcome. Just gave us the key told us where the elevator was and that’s it. The only reason I gave two stars for the staff is because they did set up a taxi for us on departure. If you’re looking to swim outside in a pool here don’t get fooled by the pictures pool looked extremely small and old and had a fence around it, so it wasn’t able to be used. If you want to go down and relax at the beach just know it’s $30 eu to lounge in a chair. During our stay it was colder and the town was literally a ghost town late May. There’s hardly any restaurants to eat at so I’d probably never come back to not just the hotel but the city in general. I did hear in July and August the city is very lively due to Italians vacationing. There’s a few things to see though the church on the hill with the Jesus statue overlooking the city and the church that leads to split mountain. I’d advise to stay in Sperlonga and do a day trip to Formia and visit those sites and just head back. Sperlonga is so much nicer!

Liked: right on serapo beach, easy cheap parking, nice balcony, good breakfast, close to everything in gaeta, 5 min drive to old gaeta. Cons: walls are thin so you can hear people being intimate, babies crying for hours, peolple literally doing anything, rooms and facilities are ugly and beyond out dated, showers are tiny and theres no room to be inside w the doors closed so your floor will have water everywhere when youre done, staff does not care about their guests i didnt have towels in my room after they cleaned so i called the front desk and asked for some at 1330 they said okay we will take them to you i come back at 1530 to no towels again and not able to shower, so i go to the front desk and they told me at 1900 they would have the cleaning lady bring me towels i said no now, so they said okay we will bring them. I go down to the beach for an hour come to my room.. no towels.. so i go to the front desk and this woman gives me towels after laughing at me. I go to the room only to find that all the towels were smaller. A blonde hair blue eye man was the person i spoke to multiple times and lied to me multiple times about bringing towels. This hotel desk staff treat their guests bad so does the short hair chubby parking guy who wont move the barriers for you to park. The hotel is terribly decorated its weird. If it wasnt cheap and on the beach i wouldnt have stayed there but i wont again... awful service

We only stayed one night and that was enough. They say Handicap accessible they are not. I have to go to back of building to get elevator, i can not get to reception area. They do not help you with your luggage. We had dinner there and they had to have at least 60 kids in restaurant yelling and screaming. It was so loud we couldnt talk across the table. The waiter could have told us about it before we sat. My wife ordered scampi which is normally Aglio Oglio but it came out red sauce and didnt change it. Also if your a hotel and have 300 TV channels you should have at least one that has English language.

This hotel is great..! The more you see, the better it is..!! Great grounds & private beach access. Also, great employees..!!!!! Gaeta is so wonderful..!

Nella prenotazione era inclusa la piscina, ma non il servizio spiaggia. Tuttavia, non sono stato informato di questa distinzione e mi è stato fatto credere che anche il servizio spiaggia fosse incluso. Ho scoperto solo il giorno del check-out che il servizio spiaggia era disponibile, ma come extra da pagare separatamente rispetto alla prenotazione. Ritengo sia un atteggiamento disonesto non informare chiaramente dei costi aggiuntivi, per poi speculare per 25€. Letteralemnte si "perdono in un bicchier d'acqua"

Scelto l'hotel Serapo per la sua posizione invidiabile, letteralmente sulla spiaggia. Ci è stata assegnata una camera "basic" e in effetti basic lo era, ma ho riscontrato alcuni problemi dovuti al tipo di stanza che probabilmente ha qualche decennio sulle spalle: innanzitutto doccia con tendine scorrevoli molto molto piccola; onestamente credo che una persona di grossa corporatura non possa lavarsi senza toccare le pareti i le tendine continuamente; tapparella avvolgibile vecchio tipo si è bloccato, frigo in camera vecchio e rumoroso, asciugacapelli a parete vecchio tipo che era rotto, poche prese disponibili (solo una vicino al letto) per l'ormai consueta ricarica degli smartphone, ho dovuto staccare il frigo per ricaricarne due. Comunque il personale è stato molto disponibile e la pulizia ineccepibile. Per il prezzo pagato capisco che è andato molto sulla posizione in quanto si accede alla spiaggia a piedi senza prendere l'automobile, dato che a Gaeta parcheggi e spostamenti sono un incubo senza fine. Colazione nella media, tutto sommato OK ma la stanza ha bisogno di qualche aggiornamento.

Very clean, quiet, and views from the beach hands down one of the best beaches.

Siamo stati bene! Camera pulita anche se con arredi datati ma comoda e funzionale. Il servizio ed il personale sono sati assolutamente all'altezza della classificazione alberghiera. Ottima la colazione.

The hotel appears to be quite outdated, with old mattresses that are uncomfortable. However, the staff members are very pleasant and the cleaning service is exceptional. It is important to note that the hotel's cleanliness is not due to the property's condition. If you plan on visiting the beach, be aware that there are extra charges for everything, as none of it is included in the already exorbitant price considering the conditions of this outdated hotel.

Chambre propre et ménage fait tous les jours. Petit déjeuner basique et pas tres varié. Au bout de 5 jours plus tres envie de manger les mêmes choses.

MIA MOGLIE ha detto che il bagno aveva un odore sgradevole, non c'era una areatore per il bagno. La stanza era antica e piena di formiche.

Location is very good, very close to the beach. Nice patio to enjoy as well. Hotel is very dated. Very small shower and no safe in the room. Also did not like that a family of 4 had to pay 40 euros for a umbrella and chairs for the day. Towel werent even included

Stay was great, only one thing that needed adressed. The mattress was too hard and uncomfortable. Could not really sleep.

The property is older but very nice. We found the staff to be very friendly and accomodating. The balcony off iur room was huge with the perfect view

Location was wonderful on the beach, parking included, in town. Needs updateding

Unser Zimmer war sehr groß, mit einen sehr großen Balkon und Blick direckt auf Meer. Das Frühstück und der Sevice waren sehr gut.

Great location, close to the beach and not too far from the old part of the city. View from the huge balcony was great. The hotel is old but everything works and the room was clean. Check in was a breeze.

I was visiting a friend in Gaeta. I stayed for a week. I am from the US. Get the ocean view with a balcony. The view is great. I usually stay in Hiltons and Marriotts. This is comparable, with a few very minor exceptions. No waste can in bedroom only in bathroom. Furniture slightly more worn, not bad though, at all. The staff were very good. Breakfast was international style. Restaurant food was good. Technology was obviously outdated because things were on paper at the front desk. On the whole for the price, beachfront you cannot beat it.

This is a beautiful location right on the ocean. Room was clean. Check in was easy. The shower was good That is where the good ends. During our stay there were multiple school groups staying that would take over the hotel, constant yelling and noise. We stayed 4 Nights, our room was over a patio and 3 of the 4 nights the teenagers had a party on the patio with the music so loud it shook the room. When we complained the first night they said it was only 1 night but that was not true- it continued the next two. Staff was not helpful at all and did not have any consideration for other paying guests. The have a beautiful beach but they would not provide a chair to sit at it. Breakfast was not self serve, and you felt they discouraged you to ask for items. Overall it was very disappointing and I would advise anyone looking at booking g this hotel to inquire if there are any school groups booked in at that time.

Ambiente per famiglie comodo vicino al mare ristorante buono personale gentile soprattutto Ilaria cameriera del ristorante sono tre anni che soggiorniamo qui Hotel necessita di ristrutturazione
