Convenient for staying on the island. However it’s very noisy in the very early morning. Found some mold in the bathroom which was unsettling. No AC… breakfast was “included” but when we went to the restaurant they had closed breakfast prior to the times we were given. All in all I think I would have picked a hotel off the island instead.

My wife and I stayed one night at the hotel as we wanted to experience Mont St Michael in the abbey. Hotel parking is offsite. Do not forget to get a code from the hotel as guest overnight parking requires a code to enter. Also be prepared to pay for your parking and will need to have your ticket to exit. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was included and very good. We had dinner at their restaurant and thought it was great. Have the front desk make reservations for you. The room had a window to the street with a beautiful view of the water but was loud in the morning as vendors on forklifts were bringing supply’s into the Abbey. The bed mattress was not the most comfortable but it didn't keep me from sleeping. Overall, if you want to spend the night on the Abbey this hotel is a good choice.

I am so disappointed by this property. I was travelling with a group of 8, 6 of whom have mobility limitations. I have been to Mt. St. Michel before and know about the challenges they would face. I talked at LENGTH with the property about the booking to ensure that our group would have the 3 rooms on the main floor so that there was a minimum of steps that the seniors with mobility restrictions I was travelling with would have to contend with. I made the reservation 9 months in advance, and called back a few times to make sure that the mobility restrictions were understood. When we arrived, they had given all but 1 of the main floor rooms that we had reserved away to other guests. This meant that people with mobility issues (and who have disability cards) had to climb several flights of stairs in addition to the ones that they knew about. This is so disappointing. One room was switched hours before we arrived because someone complained. So instead of stating that (as was written in the notes) there was a person with disabilities destined for that room, they switched them so my nearly 80 year old mother had to climb another three flights of stairs! In speaking with reception, the file was 'clearly marked they had disabilities so he didn't know what happened'. If you are a traveller with disabilities beware, they will change out your room to someone without a disability if they complain about the stairs and it will make your journey worse. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Chambre non conforme aux images proposées sur votre site chambre très petite possible de faire le tour du lit. Les rideaux sont dans un état lamentable du moisi sur les rideaux et sur les fenêtres. Le reste était impeccable. La chambre n’est pas bruyante. Le service correct petit déjeuner est parfait. Le parking n’est pas gratuit 20 € pour le parking. Alors quand vous dites qu’il y a un parking c’est faux faut payer.

Great location. There are a lot of stairs to get to the rooms, but this was expected.

One complain is that they advertise free offsite parking which is not true. The offsite parking is $20 per day.

There aren’t many options if you want to stay on the island of Mont Saint Michel. The property is very clean but extremely outdated and no AC (which is says in description). Definitely not for people who have mobility issues as there are many steps. Our bed was comfortable and they do provide a fan.

Le prix ne correspond pas à la chambre . Entourage de la fenêtre noire par l’humidité ; ainsi que le rideau de la fenêtre. Plafond, écaillé, humidité dans la salle de bain. Par contre, le lit propre et confortable . Point positif, machine à café et produits dans la salle de bain. On paye le site du Mont-Saint-Michel !

歴史ある素晴らしい場所に宿泊でき、感動的でした。 夜のモンサンミシェル島内に居られる最上のひとときです。 しかし、部屋にエアコンが無いのはこの夏の猛暑では堪え難く、また窓を開けると虫がすぐ入るので開けられず、熟睡できず疲れが取れませんでした。また、カーペットがすごく汚くてしみだらけで、清潔感が無いのが残念でした。

Room was clean, well laid out and in an amazing location. Perfect for my one night solo visit to Mont St Michel.

Getting to the room with luggage was not easy. Small room and the shower was so small my husband could barely turn around. The worst part was how filthy the walk down the steps to our room. It was disgusting.

The people working the front desk were helpful and friendly. Out room (facing street) was a little shabby, and the bathroom has a strong vinegar smell. The thing that was strange was we saw lots of flies in the hallway. Why? We noticed there were bags of garbage there, maybe collected from other places and delivered at that location.

Propreté : moquette tachée - moisissures sur rideau et entourage fenêtre - ainsi que sur plafond - Salle de bain : faience manquante autour de la baignoire. porte abîmée (plus de peinture) - Porte de chambre avec des trous. Stockage du linge dans des sacs dans couloir. Pas de cache sur les cornières des fils électriques dans couloir (dangereux).

Muito caro pelo que oferece. Café da manhã muito bom. O tapete do quarto está velho e sujo e nos corredores também. Quarto com o teto cheio de poeira e teias de aranha.Quarto pequeno, mas suficiente. O banheiro estava bem limpo.

The bedroom and bathroom were ultra clean and very modern. I loved having a bath and a separate shower. The bed was very and I slept very well. The breakfast buffet was very tasty. The staff was very friendly and polite. The only minus is the lack of a kettle and choices of drinks in the room. All there was was a machine to make drinks with pods, 2 little coffee pods and 2 espressos cups. I would have liked more than that.

The hotel is in need of updating. The bathroom in our room appeared to be remodeled which was nice, although the shower was clogged. The bed linens were clean and the room relatively decent. The carpets in the rest of the hotel appeared to be from the 1980s and there were piles of bags of what looked like dirty linens piled up in every corner around the staircases. The lobby area was also in dire need of updating. Other than that, the setting was of course lovely.

We stayed as two couples. The hotel rooms were very clean and well equipped. We were beside the restaurant for breakfast which was handy. Was lovely to stay in the island and have the quieter times at night and early morning before the crowds came.

Check-in was easy to find, they were very accommodating with storing our luggage until we checked in and after we checked out. The room was small, but completely sufficient for 3 people. It was clean, comfortable, and we would stay there again. We did have a bit of a walk to a secondary location in order to access the room, but this placed us closer to the edge of the island which gave better views and a more comfortable breeze with the windows open.

The room was very small and extremely hot. No ventilation. Windows that opened to a walkway with everyone looking in, and finally at night we had to fight with the mosquitoes if we wanted the windows open.

We had a fantastic stay on MSM. The room was modern and clean and I'm sure a small problem with the shower screen will be quickly fixed by management. The location was perfect and the buffet breakfast was absolutely delicious. Excellent value overall and we highly recommend staying overnight at Les Terrasses Poulard.

Avoid this hotel they don't care about the welfare of guests! We were all wet when we arrived as it was raining hard. The two persons at the reception seemed too busy to even say Bonjour to us and ignored us for maybe 30 seconds. She did not even offer a towel to help us get dry. That is the least of my complaint though, she gives us directions to our room and says it is about 5 minutes walk which is really far when it is raining. They did not offer an umbrella and I was told later that they didnt have one. We could not find the annex on our own so by now we were really soaking wet, it was dark and the restaurant that they were referring to did not have a name in front instead only had a menu that had its name on it. The room is not really 5 mins, it was closer, and the door name would not be visible from the main street specially on a dark rainy day. One of us went back to the reception and told the other guy that he needs to accompany us so we can find the room. The initial response we got was that he can't because he will get wet!!! Imagine being soaking wet and getting such response! He eventually helped get us there. I complained to this guy that this is the worst reception we got from years of travel, and he proceeds to say that they have 130 rooms and were busy with a group bookings but he was sorry. I had more to say about the attitude of the person who checked us in but there is limited space here..The trashcan also still had trash from the previous guest!

It's very old. Flies, flies,flies. Staff is very snobby. Just sit and don't do much. 😂 I wish I was an employee there. The best job. Just sit and say I don't know. 😂 Perfect job.

Whilst very compact within the confines of the old heritage building, it had everything we needed for our short stay and is ideally located. The staff were professional and friendly. Would stay there again if visiting the Mont.

Homme à la réception hautain.

If you book here make sure room is in main building otherwise they will send you to a rinkity, small, small bath, dirty separate bldg. I spent 6 weeks in France this is the only staff worthless in the whole country. They don’t help, don’t know and don’t volunteer nothing. No is the only word, too bad cause Mt. St. Michel is unique. Stay outside and come in and out in the buses is my recommendation.

The folks at the front desk were very nice and knowledgeable.

The hotel was clean and cozy, easy access to restaurants and shoppingStaff were very friendly and helpful. We loved it here

Great hotel on the island! Loved it!

The location is excellent! I would highly recommend staying on the island instead of staying in the standard hotels at the other end of the causeway. The other end is standard tourist places. I loved staying on the island as we could roam about in the evenings and mornings and really feel like we were staying somewhere back in time. The evening views were breathtaking. Les Terrasses Poulard was a very good value. Bathrooms were very clean and new. Beds were comfortable. The room we had was very tiny and my partner and I bumped into each other regularly. The carpet needs changing. The breakfast was very good and the staff responsive. I'm glad that I stayed here. Make sure you have the mussels and oysters and Cafe Normandy!

Check in was at a different building and the accommodation was a little difficult to find. Don’t take much luggage as it is a steep walk and space in the room was limited. The room was adequate, but small. But the reason to stay is that it is on Mont St Michel. You can enjoy the location after the tourists leave and again before they arrive.

So quiet after all the tourists leave. We watched the sunset with 12 people. Stay on the island - you won’t regret it It was like having the whole place to yourself

Staying on Mont Michel is the best alternative to experience the Mont St Michel Monastery. The Poulard hotel while not inexpensive is worth the price to have early and late day access with no crowds.

le personnel est agréable et serviable. Les chambres auraient besoin d'un rafraichissement (moquette vieillissante) mais la literie est de bonne qualité et la localisation parfaite. le petit déjeuner était de bonne qualité et généreux avec une vue très agréable, mais il n'est pas précisé que la salle de restaurant est en dehors de l'établissement principal où se trouvent les chambres.

The room was clean, the bed comfortable, shower warm and the location unbeatable. There were plenty of outlets and lighting and the breakfast was amazing. Definitely worth the cost.

O lugar é maravilhoso, equipe do hotel muito simpatica e educada. Porem quarto velho, carpete nojento com varias manchas de cores variadas, papel de parede manchado, tinta descascando. O hotel é muito bonitinho, ambiente rustico, cafe da manhã muito bom num ambiente super aconchegante. So ficou devendo um quarto mais bem cuidado.

Great room right across from St Peters church. Convenient for Thursday night adoration. Top shelf breakfast with a view.

Hotel was "nice". There are very few places to stay on the mount. So given the options, this location is very good. It is a rather special experience to be able to stay over night. However, I will say, the room itself is OK at best. The breakfast is amazing. After many nights all thru France, the fact that they provided a buffet was very refreshing! It should be noted that, while staying on the mount is amazing there are several locations nearby that are options to spend the night instead of on the mount and the fact that the shuttle runs to the mount constantly, really makes it questionable as to whether or not it's worth staying on the mount itself. With that said, Hotel Les Terrasses breakfast is amazing!!!

Es war eine sehr schöne Erfahrung auf der Insel Mont St Michel. Zimmer waren sauber mit bequemen Betten. Die Stimmung war perfekt, gleich wie das Abendessen im Mere Poulard. Einzig das Frühstück war chaotisch, überfüllt und ein überfordertes Personal.

Very accommodating. The room we had was better than expected. Small but clean and well thought of. Will definitely stay again. Breakfast was amazing.

This was such a sweet place to spend the night and enjoy Mont Saint Michel at night after the crowds leave. It’s a small inn and the rooms are tiny but with nice bathrooms which made it all the more cozy snd romantic to retreat to. The view was awesome. We’d do it again in a heartbeat. The breakfast the next day was delicious with lots to choose from and was set in a lovely space with a great view of the Normandy coastal surroundings. It was Halloween the night we stayed. It’s by far not as commercial as the U.S. with very minimal decorations. But after the crowds of the day had left and the medieval streets were near deserted unseen people made werewolf howls into the night which was just about as delightfully fun as it could be! Can’t wait to return some day and stay with this little inn again!
