Had a lovely stay, only snag was check in was slow. At check out I wasn’t charged the correct room rate, was overcharged with breakfast items however the lady corrected it and was very apologetic. I would definitely stay there again, lovely location.

We had booked a double with king but the room had 4 beds and looked nothing like the image on Hotels.com. The lift we were directed to use smelled of sewage. On visiting the restaurant, the carpet smelled. Having prepaid for breakfast on check-in but advising that we would not eat there, we had difficulty getting refunded the breakfasts but we were after an extensive argument. Our room smelled strongly of a cleanser but had not been cleaned properly, with dirt buildup on the skirtings and a dead fly on the carpet. We could not have a window open as the kitchen extract was discharging directly outside and was very noisy. On complaining about the cleanliness, smells and the room not matching the booking the manager became quite angry, resorting to pointing out dirt on my shoes from travelling as some sort of equivalence. There was no apology from the hotel and the manager indicated that we should leave, which we did without staying. We have sought a cancellation refund but the hotel is refusing (to date).
