À 20 minutes de Tours en voiture, le château est idéal pour des excursions en Loire puisque les attractions touristiques sont dans un rayon d’une heure de route. Petit déjeuner bien fourni pour le salé, plus monotone pour le doux. L’aspect de l'extérieur et du rez-de-chaussé est d’un vrai château, notre chambre familiale au dernier étage était un peu moins élaborée que celles visibles dans le site de l’hotel. Piscine, champ de tennis, parking gratuit, nous n’avons pas essayé le restaurant.

Fantastiskt ställe med otrolig service! Restaurangen var stängd kvällen vi ankom, vi kom sent också, men personalen slängde ihop liten charkbricka, bröd och vin!! Fantastisk pool, med bar. Vi är supernöjda och kommer att återkomma hit. Ett av de bättre ställen vi bott på.

An amazing Cháteau hotel with so much history. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. Separate bathroom and toilet (with bidet). Breakfast was great in a wonderful room and very pleasant staff. All of the staff were really helpful. The outdoor pool was great with a bar. Our only disappointment was not being able to book an evening meal - we were told it was fully booked, but I believe they were short staffed. Front desk recommended places to eat, telephoned and made reservations for us.

Overall very good indeed but a wedding overshadowed service and facilities for guests on Saturday evening. There were no sitting rooms reserved. The bar was shut. China cups in the bedroom would be an improvement on paper ones. The restaurant food was superb on Friday evening.

The Chateau is in an amazing forest. The place is beautiful. Missing some modern renovations. The stairs to the room are steep and difficult specially if you have a big suitcase. Room was not very clean, and old fan was all we had to temper the room. Avoid dinner at the Chateau! It supposed to be a highly demanded place with an eight course meal, all plates had a problem. First one was frozen, second one lack seasoning, third one lack acidity and the main course, beef, was terribly cooked, chewy and under seasoned. I recommend looking for other options if you want the “Chateau/Hotel” experience.

A wonderful surprise coming to this lovely, historic Abbey. Wonderful staff, beautiful interior. So much history! Only negative was a strong moldy smell in main building. Not any issues other than that. We had a lovely time.

We wanted to have one chateau stay as a cap-stone event accommodation to our trip to France, and this exceeded our expectations. The price was extremely reasonable. We visited Chateau de Villandry, which is only 15 minutes away. The room was spectacular and the service is exceptional. The breakfast each morning was well worth the price, but the dinner was truly amazing. Without a doubt, this was our top dining experience in France, including wonderful meals in Paris, Bayeux and Brittany.

Nous connaissions le Domaine depuis très longtemps et y étions souvent venus du temps de l’ancienne direction. Déception, le a suite pour 3 mansardée est mal agencée, peu confortable, le canapé lit de la 3°personne ouvert en permanence dans l’alignement du lit prend toute la place. Pas de fauteuil, la table basse bouchant le chemin d’une fenêtre, une tringle à rideau descellée du mur et qui après notre signalement a disparu laissant le rideau pendre sur la tête du lit qui servait à le maintenir partiellement. Ajoutez une coupure d’électricité l’après midi et une panne TV toute une soirée et vous conviendrez que notre séjour de 2 nuits ne fut pas très agréable. La restauration est quelconque et ne relève pas la qualité du séjour dans un établissement où le décor semble privilégié au détriment du service.

Being an old building you have to accept to load yr luggage up to 2nd floor. No air condition made it a little difficult with temperatures which weren t normal for this area. The restaurant in the hotel had limited places, so need to help yourself in finding something in near locations. The inside finish looks a little overloaded with gold and glitters.

For Beauvois to deserve its alleged rating More staff needed to checkin guests at reception we waited too long The chef needs to employ staff so the hotel offers meals to guests, Two days the kitchen is closed we were offered pizza takeaway restaurant in towns that were near but also closed so after a long drive not good. Next night room service was not room service we were served horribly overpriced microwave pot noodle type meal (Parmenter) for 30 euros. 10/10 for audacity 0 for style or customer service Drinks are very expensive on the menu and not available, so the more expensive items are offered leaving a bad taste. The chef should deliver the menu he offers; we ordered cheese plate to be told kitchen closed and no cheese or coffee despite spending £250 for 2 for supper and had waited ages to have our plates cleared so poor unacceptable service to guests. Wifi rubbishly poor or didn’t work so they need make it 21st century working Overall room nice but no air con so unbearably hot and needs sorted. Staff were polite but seemed to not care. For this price go elsewhere; such a pity as estate beautiful but absent management and could not care less attitude and terribly overpriced. À 20 minutes de Tours en voiture, le château est idéal pour des excursions en Loire puisque les attractions touristiques sont dans un rayon d’une heure de route. Petit déjeuner bien fourni pour le salé, plus monotone pour le doux. L’aspect de l'extérieur et du rez-de-chaussé est d’un vrai château, notre chambre familiale au dernier étage était un peu moins élaborée que celles visibles dans le site de l’hotel. Piscine, champ de tennis, parking gratuit, nous n’avons pas essayé le restaurant.

We wanted to have one chateau stay as a cap-stone event accommodation to our trip to France, and this exceeded our expectations. The price was extremely reasonable. We visited Chateau de Villandry, which is only 15 minutes away. The room was spectacular and the service is exceptional. The breakfast each morning was well worth the price, but the dinner was truly amazing. Without a doubt, this was our top dining experience in France, including wonderful meals in Paris, Bayeux and Brittany.

Beautiful property. Excellent staff. Very helpful ans professional. We wish we would have been able to get a reservation for dinner at yhe restaurant. It was impossible to eat anywhere near the hotel.

Fantastisk sted for en vin ferie. Det ligger tæt på mange af loiredalens vinmarker. Fin morgenbuffet. Desværre ikke et udvalg af kaffe og der blev ikke ryddet af bordene. Tjeneren stod bare og kiggede. God restaurant for aftensmad. Vigtigt at være opmærksom på der er lukket tirsdag svært at finde andet i området. Meget flot sted og god svimmingpool

Nous avons passer un bon moment avec mon mari juste erreur d'information pour le petit déjeuner qui été soit disant jusqu'à 10h30 , malheureusement nous sommes arriver à 10h13 le responsable de salle nous annonce que c'est bouclé donc nous ne pouvons déjeuner en salle mais livrer en chambre . Longue attente de celui ci . Mais parfaitement copieux 😉

The Chateau is in an amazing forest. The place is beautiful. Missing some modern renovations. The stairs to the room are steep and difficult specially if you have a big suitcase. Room was not very clean, and old fan was all we had to temper the room. Avoid dinner at the Chateau! It supposed to be a highly demanded place with an eight course meal, all plates had a problem. First one was frozen, second one lack seasoning, third one lack acidity and the main course, beef, was terribly cooked, chewy and under seasoned. I recommend looking for other options if you want the “Chateau/Hotel” experience.

For Beauvois to deserve its alleged rating More staff needed to checkin guests at reception we waited too long The chef needs to employ staff so the hotel offers meals to guests, Two days the kitchen is closed we were offered pizza takeaway restaurant in towns that were near but also closed so after a long drive not good. Next night room service was not room service we were served horribly overpriced microwave pot noodle type meal (Parmenter) for 30 euros. 10/10 for audacity 0 for style or customer service Drinks are very expensive on the menu and not available, so the more expensive items are offered leaving a bad taste. The chef should deliver the menu he offers; we ordered cheese plate to be told kitchen closed and no cheese or coffee despite spending £250 for 2 for supper and had waited ages to have our plates cleared so poor unacceptable service to guests. Wifi rubbishly poor or didn’t work so they need make it 21st century working Overall room nice but no air con so unbearably hot and needs sorted. Staff were polite but seemed to not care. For this price go elsewhere; such a pity as estate beautiful but absent management and could not care less attitude and terribly overpriced. Food utterly pretentious outrageously overpriced and confusingly misrepresented on menu (lobster, crawfish, where was it?) and small tapas portions? Huge disappointment. Loire sure can do better. An amazing Cháteau hotel with so much history. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. Separate bathroom and toilet (with bidet). Breakfast was great in a wonderful room and very pleasant staff. All of the staff were really helpful. The outdoor pool was great with a bar. Our only disappointment was not being able to book an evening meal - we were told it was fully booked, but I believe they were short staffed. Front desk recommended places to eat, telephoned and made reservations for us.

I had such a lovely stay here. It has a beautiful old château feel and the whole place is full of charm. The staff were so friendly and really looked after us. The pool was amazing and the pool bar was the perfect spot to relax with a drink. I’d happily stay here again! Also, the breakfast was great!
