Hotel Graal

We had a very disappointing experience with the hotel itself, even though the staff were genuinely kind, helpful and professional. The service was clearly the best part of the stay In our opinion the hotel does not live up to a 4 star standard or the photos shown on the website. It appears very old, worn down, and poorly maintained. Our first room had a strong musty smell, along with black spots and clear signs of moisture/mold in the bathroom. We were moved to another room with many of the same issues and ended up changing rooms three times before receiving an acceptable room All of the rooms were very small, worn out, and filled with old furniture. The beds were clearly heavily used, with noticeable indentations in the mattresses. In addition, the lighting was very cold and uncomfortable, and the rooms lacked warmth and atmosphere The most disappointing part was that the hotel photos create a far more luxurious and well-maintained impression than the reality. The hotel feels like a place that had its glory days many years ago but is now in serious need of renovation I also became very ill after eating egg for breakfast the first morning at the hotel. Of course I cannot prove that it was caused by the omelet and the overcooked boiled eggs I ate, but I started vomiting about an hour after eating them and suffered from vomiting and diarrhea for several days afterwards. Big praise to the staff but unfortunately the hotel standard does not live up to expectations

Gorgeous views from our balcony, and the restaurant has maybe the best food in Italy! One of my favorite meals ever came from here. The staff were very kind and helpful! Highly recommend

The room was spotless. Everything was great - the view was spectacular from our room. We loved this hotel. It was close to Ravello Square and also very accessible to the other Amalfi towns. The staff members were excellent. Francesca was warm and friendly. She always had a smile to greet you. Five stars to Hotel Graal! Also, they arranged for a taxi to Napoli for us. The driver, Gino, was excellent. He took his time on the many curvy roads and was a true tour guide.

Place is amazing and the staff is over-the-top wonderful! Got engaged while staying there and the staff helped make it extra special.
