This is an amazing historical property with wonderful views from the top of the mountain across the valley below. Arrival at night was tricky, so only complaint was underlit driveway and parking with no clear signage to the registration desk. I parked and wondered around the property until I asked the first staff I saw to direct me to the registration desk. The rooms are all unique and provide a stay like no other. The breakfast was a bit pricey for the items offered, but it was cute. Staff were all great and very attentive. Did not have an opportunity to attend the spa, but it looked inviting.

The hotel was most accommodating when our already late evening flight was delayed. My family and I arrived at 2A, weary travelers! The hotel left envelopes taped outside and a regular The Amazing Race clues on how to get to our suite, complete with arrows taped to doorways etc. Absolutely amazing of them! We were in a family suite that, unfortunately was treacherous with steep, winding staircase. Once inside there was another winding staircase to primary bed. This was not the photos I’d seen on this site. Might have been what was left due to our late arrival? . Fortunately we were able to “manage” them but don’t know if anyone else would have been able to, especially at 2A. The property is wonderful, delightful staff that are eager to please with an amazing breakfast at an additional cost. Swimming pool was also nice! Overall Small quaint hotel but not updated recently-

Les menuiseries à l’intérieur du restaurant sont à revoir il y avait un gros trou dans un des verres ce qui nous donner un courant d’air froid dans le cou. Nous nous sommes senti un peu bousculé lors du repas pour être plus précis le dîner ou le personnel était très oppressant.

Large and modern bathroom that is beautifully decorated. Breakfast quite expensive and not sure if it is value for money. The restaurant is popular, with great views but we unfortunately didn't try it. Swimming Pool was fantastic and not crowded as most people are hiking or touring the region. Staff and Manager especially was very friendly and polite and always helped us when needed. They also have a football table and chess room which was an added bonus! Driving back at night is a bit tricky with a large car but not a problem as they have numerous car parking spaces.

We didn't really have a pleasant stay at this property, but above all we were disappointed by the response or the lack of apology that we expected. The hotel was full of worms. They were everywhere, not only outside but in the room, near the hotel laundry, in the internal children's play area, near the kitchens and in the dining room. Our terrace was full of them and we couldn't open the windows otherwise they would immediately enter the room. The staff, who generally speak English with difficulty, justified themselves by saying that it was humid. It was also humid in other places in the area, and I certainly didn't see any worms. And anyway it was not an isolated episode, but an impressive quantity that could only be resolved with a specific treatment. Even the cleaning of the room, especially the bathroom, left something to be desired. I also have an accommodation facility with a very large park, and when problems with insects or pests arose, I immediately proceeded to call the appropriate disinfestation companies, as well as whenever inconveniences occurred which ruined the stay, we refunded our guests. Here we did not receive the slightest attention or apology for a holiday that we expressly defined as decidedly unpleasant at check-out. They told us that a manager would contact us but after a week no one showed up. It's a pity because the structure is suggestive and has a spectacular view, but it is poorly managed, and the quality-price ratio for a 4* is unjustifiable.

Our room and the entire building was amazingly beautiful with a great ambiance. Our room had two balconies with amazing views of country side. Extremely clean room and beautiful facility. Staff were very nice and helpful. The dining area had a great view of hills and countryside and the food was excellent. I had a memorable experience. I highly recommend it.

You had to climb to take spiral staircases to get to the bedroom. They were too narrow for my luggage. I left after one night and the staff was not helpful in curing a new room. Fortunately, I had traveled to the area before and was able to book a room in a wonderful hotel not far away. The facility has a lot of potential, but it needs a makeover and all rooms should be accessible .

We stayed 3 nights. St. Blaise had a no air-conditioning for the 90-degree weather and no air flow for the extremely humid bathroom. We were also awoken at 3am but drunk brits running naked through the halls screming. Subsequently we inquired about switching rooms (and were initially told the hotel was full), but were subsequently switched to St. Frederick which had two functioning A/C's and multiple windows for a cross breeze. Would definitely return but would call the hotel to confirm the room.

The hotel is located inside an old restored abbey. The location is stunning but not readily accessible through the autoroute. In other words, you have to know it is there and once you are there, you are there. Fortunately, the hotel has a restaurant and a nice breakfast buffet. The rooms are furnished in a more classic style with a complete bathroom. Don’t expect anything modern here. This is a higher standard line of hotels ideal for special celebrations.

The property is fantastic. The view of the surrounding area is incredible and the idea of taking an old monastery and turning into a hotel was a great one! The pool is beautiful as well. The issues are the air conditioning doesn't work. The units are run off of a central chiller system which is clearly not functioning. Due to high costs they likely aren't fixing it. Two other couples and myself had the exact same experience of no air conditioning in 3 different rooms. I wouldn't have seen this as a major issue but the day time highs were in the 35*C range leading to a very warm room even overnight with the window open. The refrigerator in my room also did not work. The restaurant was nice and although breakfast was great, we had an unexplained issue at dinner, ultimately resulting in a 4 hour dinner seating. Further to this my protein was apparently more undercooked than I thought as I was sick for many days after. While the staff at the hotel are very friendly and do their best, it appears that capital reinvestment is minimal. They seem to be lacking clear guiding principles regarding guest experience that need to be regularly shared with the staff. Unfortunate on the whole as the pricing does not justify the experience.

Staff were very nice and helpful. The dining area had a great view of hills and countryside and the food was excellent. I had a memorable experience. I highly recommend it.

Cette ancienne Abbaye a été rénovée avec goût, originalité, tout en gardant le charme de l'ancien. Le cadre est somptueux, la grande piscine apporte un vrai plus, la vie imprenable est magnifique. Quelques axes d'amélioration, la climatisation est un peu ancienne et ne fonctionne pas à 100%, même si c'était suffisant lors de notre séjour. Concernant la restauration, la qualité est bonne mais le service du restaurant est désorganisé, ce qui génère des attentes longues et frustrantes. En résumé, l'hôtel est magnifique, l'emplacement également, et en améliorant la partie restaurant, cela serait parfait
