Our family of 5 stayed at this lake front home for the weekend. We enjoyed the easy access to the lake, kayaking, paddle boat, fishing and all the yard games. It was exactly what we were looking to do for the weekend- enjoy the outdoors with some water sports! The house was very clean and well stocked. Our only issue/reason for 4 stars instead of 5, was there were so many mosquitoes around the home, so naturally they would enter the home. When we first arrived on a Friday evening, the house had several mosquitoes already throughout the house. It was a bit off putting, however the rest of the house was clean and we spent the majority of the weekend outdoors.

My husband, dog and myself had a great few days’ stay at Tammy’s! Great location on a quiet lake, very clean property, functioning AC, strong WiFi connection and kitchen was very well-stocked. Tammy’s communication was excellent - super clear check-in instructions and answered any questions I had quickly. Highlight was the size of the property (huge lawn with tons of room for us and the dog to run around)! Comes with tons of firewood (and even kindling) which was a very nice touch. For us the inside was perfectly-sized, but I do think that more than 4 people would struggle to comfortably fit. The walkout from the beach gets mucky pretty quickly, but this was a non-issue for us since we didn’t really want to swim - and most importantly it was perfect for our dog! Overall we had a fantastic stay and would gladly return - we absolutely loved it.

HUGE Yard -- our 3 kids (age 10-14) played football while my husband made a fire in the fire pit right near the shore. We listened to music and danced the night away. In the day time -- we were out in the kayaks and paddle boat and fished (brought our own fishing supplies). Then hit up Lily pad for Thursday night Bingo (5-min walk),and my son won 20. A carefree, relaxed, wonderful 2-night stay. Thank you Tammy!

House was clean, well stocked with both essentials and water toys, and conveniently right on Lake Koshkonong. Our kids and dog loved the easy beach access for swimming. Town needs like gas, groceries, and boat rental are less than 15 minutes away and the Lily Pad Restaurant is a 5 minute walk. Communication with Tammy was very fast and check in/out painless. We would return again and definitely recommend for a pet friendly family weekend.

This cabin is exactly as described, we had such a relaxing time. Super clean, comfortable couches and beds, amazing lake view, pet friendly, well stocked kitchen, nice deck, and nice outdoor space including fire pit. It was very muddy when we arrived so being able to park in the garage was a huge plus. Easy check in/out and Tammy was very responsive. We will definitely be back!

Property is clean and appears to be newly renovated. All the appliances are in working order. Check in and check out process fast and easy. Tammy over communicates (that's a good thing) and readily answers inquiries. Plenty of furniture indoor and out. Nice deck for bird watching and such looking at the lake. We did use the two kayaks. The Lily Pad tavern is just a walk away, lively and friendly crowd. They had music every evening for Memorial Day holiday. We had a nice uncomplicated stay.

The property was perfect and house was clean. I appreciated all the extra blankets and bedding. The house has everything you need to cook even spices. We all loved all the lake toys from the kayaks to all the different floats and even yard games. The yard and private beach was great for our dog. Our dog could walk in and out of the lake at her leisure. My teen boys had a blast fishing all day and even at night. We all had a great time, cought lots of fish and left with great tans!! Perfect getaway from city life.

Nice pet friendly cottage on Lake Koshkonong with large yard and beach area. Rocky/mucky lake bottom but great for fishing and dogs to swim. Very easy to work with Tammy. All around great trip!

Stayed here for 3 nights with my teenage kids. Was perfect for a family getaway. Loved being on the lake and took advantage of the kayaks and paddle boat. Lots of restaurants close by and the kitchen was well stocked with all we needed for cooking in as well. House was so clean and had everything we needed!

Clean, professionally remodeled little cabin on the lake, everything that we needed, simple and common sense set up, quiet and safe residential neighborhood. It was zero degrees outside, but the cabin stayed warm and cozy. The large kitchen window and sliding glass door overlook the lake facing east so the sunrise greeted us each morning, so gorgeous! The dvd selections and board games, color changing fireplace were all extra fun. Host was quick to reply and the printed instructions are accurate.

A beautiful place for a relaxing getaway. The home is immaculate and has every thing you need. The little beach area was a great place to sit and unwind. Overall, we truly enjoyed our short stay! Would have given 5 stars except that the boat lift was still out of the water, sitting on the grass right in the middle of the lake view. We had picked this place mostly for the lake view, so that was a bit of a downer. We contacted Tammy & she replied right away, explaining that the marina had been saying they'd have the lift installed for the previous 3 weeks. I just wish she'd shared that with us. Obviously out of her control, but would have been good to know before arriving. Also, the sliding screen door had a large rip in it which we did share with Tammy also. We loved the location - very close to several bars/restaurants. Would recommend as I'm sure the lift is in the water by now.

We enjoyed our stay at the lakehouse! We were in town for a festival in Madison (30 mins away). We did struggle to get an uber quickly to drive us to Madison, just as a note for others (no issue with an uber driving us back from Madison, though!). As for the place itself, it's cute though definitely on the smaller side. It's been updated, although it felt as though many of the updates/amenities were very basic (ie, carpet had a bit of an odor in the bedrooms, mattresses were just 'meh' comfortable, main bathroom has some older features still (though very usable). For the price for 2 nights, we would have wanted a bit more comfort at the house, if that makes sense. That said, the lake views were wonderful, we enjoyed the firepit (and free firewood, thank you!). The property manager was very nice/helpful/responsive throughout our short weekend stay, especially after we had a minor issue in one of the bathrooms (from what I gather, the septic system is very sensitive). My family loved relaxing in this comfy house. We were in Ft Atkinson to see our oldest son perform at the Fireside Dinner Theatre. We brought along my 80 year old parents and they loved it as well! They used the master bedroom and bath while we slept in the smaller bedroom and our younger son slept on the pull out bed in the living room. There was room for all six of us to enjoy meals at the dining table. And we even played some of the games from the living room cabinet. The view of the lake was pretty - we saw a bald eagle a couple of times! It was a very pleasant stay!

This was a well maintained property, It was the perfect size for our 4 day stay and was pet friendly, so we were able to bring our 2 pugs along so they wouldn't have to stay at a kennel. We had a brief problem with the WiFi, but Tammy was very responsive and we were able to resolve it. We would come here again (preferably in the summer next time to enjoy the location to the lake!)
This was a well maintained property, It was the perfect size for our 4 day stay and was pet friendly, so we were able to bring our 2 pugs along so they wouldn't have to stay at a kennel. We had a brief problem with the WiFi, but Tammy was very responsive and we were able to resolve it. We would come here again (preferably in the summer next time to enjoy the location to the lake!)

Had a pleasant long weekend to celebrate partner’s birthday and to get away from it all. Nice place to connect outside and relax inside. Lake view is lovely, plenty of towels, some good remodel choices. We had a little bit of noise issues with dog next door and with outside tree trimming and removal (beeping construction truck noises throughout the weekend). Could use a new screen on back door to keep bugs out when allowing in fresh air. Comfortable indoor and outdoor furniture and huge back yard with nice grass.

The place is small, but was great for 4 people. Lots of nice touches like an extension cord in the garage that we used for a fan on the deck. The lake views were wonderful from the deck. Being able to walk to a restaurant/bar was fantastic. Tammy was very quick to respond to my questions both before and during our stay.

We really loved our stay. This was our first time using VRBO. Tammy noticed the weather was going to be crummy for our full day at the cottage and offered to let us come early. That made it so we were able to enjoy the lake for a full afternoon before the storms came in. We used the paddle boat and the kayaks to take a short family boat trip. There were tie outs and sheets for the furniture for the dog. The kitchen was stocked withmany essentials and the showers even had shampoo and soap provided! Tammy was very responsive to our messages, but we didn't have any issues to report. It was perfect! Highly recommend.

My husband, dog and myself had a great few days’ stay at Tammy’s! Great location on a quiet lake, very clean property, functioning AC, strong WiFi connection and kitchen was very well-stocked. Tammy’s communication was excellent - super clear check-in instructions and answered any questions I had quickly. Highlight was the size of the property (huge lawn with tons of room for us and the dog to run around)! Comes with tons of firewood (and even kindling) which was a very nice touch. For us the inside was perfectly-sized, but I do think that more than 4 people would struggle to comfortably fit. The walkout from the beach gets mucky pretty quickly, but this was a non-issue for us since we didn’t really want to swim - and most importantly it was perfect for our dog! Overall we had a fantastic stay and would gladly return - we absolutely loved it.

Property is clean and appears to be newly renovated. All the appliances are in working order. Check in and check out process fast and easy. Tammy over communicates (that's a good thing) and readily answers inquiries. Plenty of furniture indoor and out. Nice deck for bird watching and such looking at the lake. We did use the two kayaks. The Lily Pad tavern is just a walk away, lively and friendly crowd. They had music every evening for Memorial Day holiday. We had a nice uncomplicated stay.

We loved the deep lawn going down to the lake. We enjoyed cooking out and eating at the table on the lawn. Our dog loved playing stick and running. It was close to Ft. Atkinson, Edgerton and Stoughton. We would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at the lakehouse! We were in town for a festival in Madison (30 mins away). We did struggle to get an uber quickly to drive us to Madison, just as a note for others (no issue with an uber driving us back from Madison, though!). As for the place itself, it's cute though definitely on the smaller side. It's been updated, although it felt as though many of the updates/amenities were very basic (ie, carpet had a bit of an odor in the bedrooms, mattresses were just 'meh' comfortable, main bathroom has some older features still (though very usable). For the price for 2 nights, we would have wanted a bit more comfort at the house, if that makes sense. That said, the lake views were wonderful, we enjoyed the firepit (and free firewood, thank you!). The property manager was very nice/helpful/responsive throughout our short weekend stay, especially after we had a minor issue in one of the bathrooms (from what I gather, the septic system is very sensitive). Thanks for the stay!

Stayed here for 3 nights with my teenage kids. Was perfect for a family getaway. Loved being on the lake and took advantage of the kayaks and paddle boat. Our family of four (kids 6 and 3 years old) had a wonderful time here. Owners were amazing with communication and very helpful at all times. The huge yard was great for games and getting our kids' energy out-as well as the private beach! When we wanted a change of scenery, there were several options very close by. The kids told us they wanted to stay forever and I don't blame them! We have rented lake houses for a decade and this was one of the best ones we have stayed at!
