We had a wonderful stay! We had every amenity that we needed from the kitchen to living spaces and to our delight welcoming us with a few fresh staples and Merry Edwards wine was amazing. If you are looking for a quiet space but close to town…. This is your spot

Our stay at the Maefield Vineyard House was just perfect! The house is truly peaceful and surrounded by vineyards. There is everything you could possibly need in the kitchen which we did use to cook. Julie looked out for our every need and was readily available when we had questions. She even brought us eggs from her chickens along with some bread and jam. The rooms are spacious, each with their own ensuite bathroom, just as described. We also really enjoyed the hot tub. The property is really gorgeous and clean with every amenity you could think of. One of the best parts of our stay was all of the birds - as a birder, it was delightful to see everything from house finches to juncos to yellow-rumped warblers. There were also acorn woodpeckers and northern flickers plus an american kestrel and a red-tailed hawk, just to name a few of the birds we would see in the morning. We would highly recommend staying here and hope to do another ladies wine weekend again there soon.

What a great jumping off point for visiting wineries in the Russian River Valley and across Sonoma!! We enjoyed the hot tub, walked through the vineyard every morning, enjoyed coffee and breakfast, and even cooked dinner one night. It was a fantastic weekend, and Julie was a wonderful host. She was accessible and communicated with us quickly and proactively. The house was comfortable and well-furnished for our group. We will be back!
