The hotel does not have a hot tub as advertised or a proper spa, though the pool area was nice, the rooftop pool wasn't heated. The view was great, food was average. Main issue was the room was extremely hot at night, it wasn't possible to adjust air con and the hotel staff insisted on putting the heating on all evening and night despite it being 21C!! We had to sleep with windows open with caused privacy, noise and mosquito issues and didn't make the room much cooler either. The location means the view is very pretty and there are lots of restaurants in the area, but its on a massive and very steep hill with narrow pavement so it's not very suitable for most travellers it's very tiring getting to/from the hotel even for a short walk.

Nothing was too much for the staff. Resturant waiters- Costas and everyone were very as good. Food is good too. The down said was not enough vegan options. Also the pool was not open till April, and gym is very basic

Fantastiskt läge på hotellet i ett lugnt och skönt område. När till bra restauranger och övriga sevärdheter. Utsikten är förmodligen Atens bästa. Väljer man ett rum med utsikt mot staden och Akropolis får man en fin upplevelse från tidig morgon till sen kväll. Bra service och god mat. Poolen och baren på rooftop är helt magisk med god mat och drinkar.

The view makes the hotel and without it you wouldn't tolerate the claim it's a 5 star hotel. The pool area and bar is extremely well done, the staff in the restaurant and the bar were all helpful. We had issues from the start when out in a different room to which we paid for. The manager claimed the eco room with a view of neighbouring apartments, broken furniture and a disabled bathroom was an upgrade to our superior lycabettus view room. Thankfully after two room moves we got what we ordered for. Unfortunately on check out they tried to charge us again for the room and items we hadn't had... Do not trust the automated check out system. The hotel is a 3 star hotel.. The gym is non existent. However we had a lovely time due to the pool area, view and location, all of which are surely some of the best in Athens

Location! Million dollar view of the Akropolis, Olympic Stadium, the sea and the city! Service was great! Premises were very clean! The fact that there’s a garage, at extra cost, is another main reason why I picked this hotel! The roof top restaurant has an amazing view that is obscured at night with the most distasteful Decorative lights, totally unnecessary! The entire restaurant needs a major update! Food was very good, and breakfast buffet was also good.

Positives: good bed, very good and silent aircon, attentive cleaning, nice pool area Negatives: Not very kind service in the reception, almost felt like a bother to the receptionist. Especially very rude and slow service when we asked for help to book a taxi, which should seem like a very simple task. On the day of our checkout, we overheard several people being told that the roof terrace and pool was closed off for a private event. Not at all ok to just do this and not give a reduced price and inform beforehand.

This is a 3 star hotel at best. They may have been 5 stars 30 years or so ago, but the property is dated and has been poorly taken care of. The wallpaper is peeling away from the walls, there were tiles poorly plastered as replacements in the bathroom, etc. The only real reason to go to this hotel is the view. I paid extra for a room upgrade, but had also booked one night at the hotel using credit card points, which only let me select a cheaper room. They gave me the cheaper room for all the nights, rather than switching our room. They told me it was the correct room and that they upgraded me for the first night. Either they were lying, or the rooms with the acropolis view don't have an acropolis view. If you leaned over the balcony you could see it, but you definitely couldn't see it from the room. I'm not usually someone to care about service, but when booking a 5 star hotel, it's one of the things that's meant to be differentiating. The staff were rude at check-in, rude at breakfast, and were not only rude, but also unhelpful when I left something in the room and needed to have it sent to my next hotel. I stayed in a boutique hotel later in my trip that was considerably cheaper, and the staff there were incredibly nice. Don't expect this to be a 5-star experience. Save your money and stay somewhere else. It'll have nicer rooms, and friendlier staff. Maybe come here for a drink for the view.

Det var för varmt i rummet och när jag påtalade det för personalen så gjorde de inget åt det. Värmen var centralstyrd och vi kunde inte reglera den från rummet. Fanns rost i badkaret och dörren till rummet var svår att öppna. Frukosten var mycket bra. Utsikten från restaurangen var utmärkt.

The service was impeccable at this hotel. Especially the front desk and the spa (Maria and Flora were wonderful). Unfortunately the room was underwhelming. And the bathroom in particular - the shower leaked out into the bathroom - a lot. We did tell the front desk about it, they said they would send someone to look at it but I don’t know if they did. At any rate, the issue wasn’t fixed while we were there. Also the bathroom was getting moldy. Honestly I was disappointed with the room I paid a bit extra for a “superior” room, but there was nothing superior about it. In addition, it was a long trek up the hill and I was excited. Then we had a view of the building next door… The view from the restaurant was outstanding even though the food was overpriced and just average. In fact, that’s how I would describe this hotel: overpriced and just average. This property seems like it had its heyday about 10 years ago and is now in need of an update. The welcome check in went smoothly and welcoming. The room was ready for us though we weren’t expecting an Eco room. The room was roomy enough for 3 people. The bathroom handle, the towel handle and toilet paper handle needed attention. There were not enough hooks to place your wet towel and bathrobes. I didn’t like my hand towel so close to the toilet. The hotel is easy to walk to Athens centre and popular sites. The staff were friendly and smiled when we walked past them. I do not understand why the mini bar was plugged in despite the room being ‘eco’. The pool
The welcome check in went smoothly and welcoming. The room was ready for us though we weren’t expecting an Eco room. The room was roomy enough for 3 people. The bathroom handle, the towel handle and toilet paper handle needed attention. There were not enough hooks to place your wet towel and bathrobes. I didn’t like my hand towel so close to the toilet. The hotel is easy to walk to Athens centre and popular sites. The staff were friendly and smiled when we walked past them. Our room was supposed to be a panoramic view but we had a view of the mountain and far to one side could see the acropolis. To pay extra for that peek a boo view was ridiculous. Our room was also incredibly small and smelled like mold. Also the twin beds get pushed together to make a double (which was in the description), but we didn’t like that. Now we still have it 4 stars because the service of the staff and the food was amazing! I’m not sure if we would stay here again, but the rooftop bar and pool were also great.

You pay for the view. Which is beautiful from the rooftop but the room felt really budget, the bed was really uncomfortable and the shower was either cold or boiling. The rooftop pool area would be lovely in the summer but don't pay for this when it's too cold to even use. Good location to walk down into Athens but be mindful of the steep hills and steps back up.

Loud music till midnight on Saturday and Sunday night. Service at the bar at the top was non-existent. At Check in had to wait for our room. Noticed others going up to complain and they got a room right away. So, I did the same and got a room. No communication about how long the wait was going to be. Some at the front desk were helpful, some were not and had a poor attitude. We did accidently leave something in our room and the desk was helpful in getting it returned to the states.

I liked the location and the room was very pleasant, especially the balcony that I paid extra to have. Staff were among the least friendly and helpful in my entire traveling experience. This hotel was in an upscale portion of the city and the arrogance seemed to permeate many staff.

This is a 3 star hotel at best. They may have been 5 stars 30 years or so ago, but the property is dated and has been poorly taken care of. The wallpaper is peeling away from the walls, there were tiles poorly plastered as replacements in the bathroom, etc. The only real reason to go to this hotel is the view. I paid extra for a room upgrade, but had also booked one night at the hotel using credit card points, which only let me select a cheaper room. They gave me the cheaper room for all the nights, rather than switching our room. They told me it was the correct room and that they upgraded me for the first night. Either they were lying, or the rooms with the acropolis view don't have an acropolis view. If you leaned over the balcony you could see it, but you definitely couldn't see it from the room. I'm not usually someone to care about service, but when booking a 5 star hotel, it's one of the things that's meant to be differentiating. The staff were rude at check-in, rude at breakfast, and were not only rude, but also unhelpful when I left something in the room and needed to have it sent to my next hotel. I stayed in a boutique hotel later in my trip that was considerably cheaper, and the staff there were incredibly nice. Don't expect this to be a 5-star experience. Save your money and stay somewhere else. It'll have nicer rooms, and friendlier staff. Maybe come here for a drink for the view.

The hotel does not have a hot tub as advertised or a proper spa, though the pool area was nice, the rooftop pool wasn't heated. The view was great, food was average. Main issue was the room was extremely hot at night, it wasn't possible to adjust air con and the hotel staff insisted on putting the heating on all evening and night despite it being 21C!! We had to sleep with windows open with caused privacy, noise and mosquito issues and didn't make the room much cooler either. The location means the view is very pretty and there are lots of restaurants in the area, but its on a massive and very steep hill with narrow pavement so it's not very suitable for most travellers it's very tiring getting to/from the hotel even for a short walk.

Not easy to get into and out of Athens center by foot, but worth it. Beautiful hotel atop the hill with an unbelievably beautiful rooftop bar and restaurant with views of the Acropolis Hill. Breakfast was bountiful, also with stunning views. Beautiful shops at it’s base. We are definitely returning.

Beautiful hotel with an amazing rooftop restaurant and amenities. The view from the pool and restaurant were unbelievable. It is only a 15 minute ride from The acropolis. We dined at the restaurant twice and we were very pleased. The breakfast is also totally worth it.

A lovely hotel. Had a great meal and service on our first evening but on the second evening we were so disappointed. White wine was warm when it arrived. Pre dinner nibbles delivered part way through our main course. Service was so slow and we eventually left before ordering dessert as by then it was so late.

So disappointing for five star expectations. Dinner at rooftop restaurant, I had to endure two sources of very loud music. The restaurant manager did nothing about it. And the waiter service was substandard and did not come around and asked me how the food was or if I needed anything while I was eating. The door to my hotel room is terrible. Who designed the opening mechanism? The rooftop pool had a menu which was not available, really?? You do not deserve five stars I drop you down to three stars you need to raise your game thank you.

Väljer man ett rum med utsikt mot staden och Akropolis får man en fin upplevelse från tidig morgon till sen kväll. Bra service och god mat. Poolen och baren på rooftop är helt magisk med god mat och drinkar.
