Charming & central living in Weiden - Ciao

Second stay. We like this apartment. It is convenient to activities and transportation and roomy for a family.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is easy to walk to downtown Weiden and is close to the train station and bus routes. Very nice place

Just a short walk to the old town, not far from the train station, around the corner from a market, the location was perfect for us for a week stay. The apartment had everything we needed and plenty of room to spread out. And there was amplev street parking!

Friendly and helpful contacts (father and son) live nearby, met us at the door and did a walk through. They kindly showed us how to use the somewhat complicated European sliding glass doors to the balcony (has table, two chairs, and ashtray). They also supplied us with a key to the laundry room, a much appreciated amenity! Note: Only one key to the apartment was provided. No microwave, but handy Krupp's espresso maker and supplied coffee K-cups were greatly appreciated. Pick your choice of four ways to make coffee! Everything we needed was provided - from spices and sugar to kitchen cleaning wipes and products to electrical outlet adapter (in case we forgot ours for our US iPhone chargers). A standup fan as well as extra blankets and pillows were also provided. The beds were very firm. The neighborhood is somewhat noisy, but this was not bothersome to us. This apartment is located nearby to an inexpensive bakery, a discount Netto grocery store, an upscale McDonalds, the train station, and the city center where you'll find lots of shops. None of these are more than 5-10 minutes walk away. I would definitely rent this apartment again!
