Op loop afstand van Place Stanislas. Hotel had een eigen parking , maar als je op de navigatie het adres van het hotel volgt dan mis je de parkeerplaats van het hotel. We hebben in een parkeergarage naast het hotel geparkeerd wat ook goed was. Misschien een idee om de straatnaam door te geven van parkeergarage van het hotel aan de hotelgasten.

Prettig hotel, niet zo massaal. Mooie kamer met een goed bed en lekker ontbijt. Het hotel heeft een perfecte ligging voor als je de stad in wil en je bent de stad ook weer zo uit. Parkeergarage ligt naast het hotel. Hotel heeft geen buiten.

The car park was small and we had to pre-book a space. The staff were very helpful. The hotel facilities are limited but perfectly adequate, with a good breakfast offer and a small bar for a late drink. The location is in the very centre of the city close to the river, shopping and restaurants.

De locatie van het hotel is goed en heel handig dat het hotel ook een eigen parkeergarage heeft. De nachtreceptionist was heel erg aardig en behulpzaam en liep een heel stuk met ons mee ivm de ingewikkelde route naar onze kamer vanwege de verbouwing. Minder goed was de kleine badkamer (badkamerdeur was niet handig geplaatst) en de verbouwing in het hotel.

Checking in was special, nou counter just a bar. A very nice girl with a laptop. Getting to the room on the first floor we took the very small elevator, it barely fit 2 people with our luggage. The room was really small and was in need for an update, at times we could hear the traffic, we saw some spider cob webs at the top of the curtains, some mysterious hairs in the bathroom sink, water damage at the bathroom door. But the bed was fine, slept like a rose. Breakfast was fine but there was much limited room to properly sit and eat it, everything was so crammed up to eachother, the gentleman next to me was so close, we almost touched elbows. But there wasn’t many alternatives to sit. We tried sitting at a lounge but these couches were much lower then the table, what were they thinking. Would I stay here again? No probably not. Was it terrible? For just 1 night is more then alright, the people were really nice, and everything was walking distance, even though they should update the picture of the square on their website, because it doesn’t look like that anymore. Overal I probably wouldn’t come here anymore, but it was alright for just one time.

Altes, unsauberes Haus. Zimmer und Bad klein, größere Menschen stoßen auf dem wc an das Waschbecken, extrem eng. Teppich im Zimmer unsauber, Hausflur und Gemeinschaftsräume ebenfalls alt und unsauber. Wurst und Käse am Frühstücksbuffet sahen aus wie vom Vortag. Mitarbeiterin am Empfang, späte Anreise, war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir waren nur auf der durchreise, wären wir nicht so spät angekommen, wären wir weiter gefahren. Auf keinen Fall zu empfehlen. Viel zu teuer mit 182 €. Ist keine 2 Sterne wert. Das schlechteste Mercure in dem wir auf durchreisen jemals waren.

We arrived around 11:30pm after a full days travel to get there. 1st room assigned was too difficult to get to with all of our luggage, so they assigned a different room and this is where the nightmare began. I will not be graphic but when I pulled back the cover, it was apparent the be had been really used and not changed. What we saw was so gross that it made my husband and I sick. We called the front desk and they subsequently showed us 5 different rooms on the 3rd floor - ALL HAD THE SAME NASTY ISSUE AND THE BEDS HAS CLEARLY NOT BEEN CHANGED - it was so nasty! By the 6th try (and 2am), I asked the front desk person to please go and check the room 1st before having me come along. I was really disgusted. It was 2am before they finally found a sanitary room for us. It was too late to find another hotel! The 6th room was okay but my husband and I slept on top of the covers after what we saw. I was so disgusted that I didn’t fall asleep until 4am and when we checked out the next day, this hotel comped the parking and pet fee.!!! I explained this isn’t about the money. I said, how can the entire 3rd floor have such unsanitary beds- apparently your housekeeping staff on this floor isn’t doing their jobs - just how gross. We will NEVER EVER return to that property and if it is owned as part of a franchise who cares about their reputation, Accord Group needs to follow up, rectify the unsanitary practices, or completely shut them down! Just eeeeeeeuiuuuuuuhhhhhh!

Un bon hôtel, idéalement situé, à proximité immédiate de la place Stanislas et des zones semi piétonnes. Le plus, le parking de l'hôtel, le moins, l'isolation phonique, les nuisances sonores de la rue impactent directement le repos dans la chambre.

L’hôtel est bien placé bien que non sur la place Stanislas même comme peuvent le laisser penser les photos. En revanche il n’a rien d’un 4 étoiles : chambres très petites, toilettes dont on peine à fermer la porte lorsque l’on est à l’intérieur par manque d’espace, douche minuscule dans laquelle il faut baisser la tête car le plafonnier est trop bas, lit petit, peinture craquelée, ascenseur vieux, etc.
L’hôtel est bien placé bien que non sur la place Stanislas même comme peuvent le laisser penser les photos. En revanche il n’a rien d’un 4 étoiles : chambres très petites, toilettes dont on peine à fermer la porte lorsque l’on est à l’intérieur par manque d’espace, douche minuscule dans laquelle il faut baisser la tête car le plafonnier est trop bas, lit petit, peinture craquelée, ascenseur vieux, etc.

Sejour touristique de 3 nuits. Hôtel tres bien situé. Personnel agréable. Probleme technique pour avoir une seconde carte de chambre. Gros problème d insonorisation de la chambre. On entend tous les bruits exterieurs ( clients qui.ne sont pas discrets a 2h du matin et qui restent devant l entrée arriere de l hotel) et bruits interieurs (escaliers). Salle de bain de petite taille avec une baignoire très haute donc pas facile d acces pour une senior. Tres bonne literie. Dommage pas de mini bar.

Great location, safe parking, friendly staff, comfortable bed, kettle in room and functioning AC. Had to knock a star off for the poorly designed bathroom; it’s small, but that isn’t the problem. Someone thought it was a good idea to include a very deep bath (why? A walk in shower in a 2x2m room makes far more sense) and an oversized sink (again, why? Small room, small sink, surely?!) and a toilet that is too far from the wall at the back but too close to the wall on one side (5cm!); the toilet is about 20cm from the sink… awkward. Just book carefully if you’re infirm or disabled, this bathroom will not work for everyone.

Someone thought it was a good idea to include a very deep bath (why? A walk in shower in a 2x2m room makes far more sense) and an oversized sink (again, why? Small room, small sink, surely?!) and a toilet that is too far from the wall at the back but too close to the wall on one side (5cm!); the toilet is about 20cm from the sink… awkward. Just book carefully if you’re infirm or disabled, this bathroom will not work for everyone.

Die Lage ist gut, die Zimmer klein, aber für eine Nacht ok. Frühstück gut, nur der Service kam leider nicht hinterher. Es war der 2. Mai, draußen 28 Grad und die Klimaanlage war ausgeschaltet! Auf Nachfrage, das wäre Anfang Mai üblich. Die Nacht war schrecklich, heiß und stickig. Der Tip der Rezeption das Fenster aufzumachen war ein Witz. Riesiger Lärm ums Haus bis 3 Uhr. Das hat unseren Kurztrip erheblich beeinträchtigt.

Séjour de deux jours. Chambre très loin d’être digne d’un 4 étoiles. Salle de bain inadaptée pour une personne de 1m80 ou plus. En effet, le plafonnier de douche se trouve accroché à 1m80 et empêche toute personne de cette taille de se doucher en position droite. Vu avec l’accueil, la réponse: la douche est faite pour une personne de taille normale…luminaire dans la chambre en panne, plateau d’accueil quasi inexistant… On se demande si le fait de réserver sur une plateforme n’entraîne pas un déclassement vers les chambres les moins accueillantes et les plus vétustes . Si c’est le cas, que ces hôtels ne mettent pas de chambre disponible sur ces plateformes. Seul point positif, la localisation en centre ville.

It was a nice, mid-range hotel. The parking is a major asset. The beds weren't especially comfortable and there were issues with the thermostat - it was either boiling hot or freezing, regardless of how it was set.

Sehr nettes, nicht allzu großes Hotel in zentraler Lage inklusive eigenes kostenpflichtiges Parkhaus. Die Parkplatzgröße ist sogar für SUVs geeignet. Die Zimmer waren nicht allzu groß, trotzdem waren Sie für einen Kurzaufenthalt ausreichend. Im ganzen Hotel haben wir sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter angetroffen, die sehr bemüht waren, unseren Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Da wir mit Frühstück gebucht hatten, waren sehr begeistert von der Auswahl des Frühstücksbuffets. Man hatte sogar die Möglichkeit sich sein Spiegelei selbst zu braten, da im Buffet eine kleine Küche mit integriert ist. Neben eines Kaffeevollautomaten hatte man auch die Möglichkeit sich einen Nespresso-Kaffee zu gönnen. Generell hat uns der Style des Frühstücksraums bzw. Frühstückbuffets sehr gefallen. Abends hätte man die Möglichkeit gehabt, die Hotelbar zu besuchen, welche wir aber nicht genutzt hatten.

The girl in the reception was very rude and not service oriented at all. She didn’t want to let us in the room before 3pm ( check in time was 2pm), offer us a parking slot in front of the hotel for my big car and sent us to a remote parking 15 min away from the hotel, didn’t help to find a table for breakfast and so on. Very experience with the service overall.

My wife and I stayed one night in the Mercure Nancy Centre Place Stanislas on our way to Switzerland. But let’s start with the good features. Its position close to the city centre makes it ideal for a city stopover. It’s just a short walk to Place Stanislas and all the restaurants and sights. The other great facility is the car parking: it has its own underground park right opposite the hotel side entrance. The rest was pretty poor. The feature that appalled my wife was that the toilet was in a room so small that it was impossible – and I do mean literally impossible – to sit on it and close the door! The hotel management must know this and yet they go on letting this room. That complacency is unforgivable. Checkin was curious. It involved a long process conducted by a cheerful but apparently quite untrained person perched on the end of a table with a laptop. How come? The Mercure have a professional reservation system so what was this chap using? He also had a queue of annoyed people waiting to check in behind me. Eventually he walked me across to the lift and configured my room key using a gadget on the wall at the foot of the stairs. Crazy! The breakfast restaurant is too small for the capacity of the hotel. The choice was fine but It soon filled up and although two people were busy replenishing the servery, no one was on hand to supervise the situation. It seems there’s something very odd going on at this Mercure. We cancelled our return stopover

The car park was small and we had to pre-book a space. The staff were very helpful. The hotel facilities are limited but perfectly adequate, with a good breakfast offer and a small bar for a late drink. The location is in the very centre of the city close to the river, shopping and restaurants.

Checking in was special, nou counter just a bar. A very nice girl with a laptop. Getting to the room on the first floor we took the very small elevator, it barely fit 2 people with our luggage. The room was really small and was in need for an update, at times we could hear the traffic, we saw some spider cob webs at the top of the curtains, some mysterious hairs in the bathroom sink, water damage at the bathroom door. But the bed was fine, slept like a rose. Breakfast was fine but there was much limited room to properly sit and eat it, everything was so crammed up to eachother, the gentleman next to me was so close, we almost touched elbows. But there wasn’t many alternatives to sit. We tried sitting at a lounge but these couches were much lower then the table, what were they thinking. Would I stay here again? No probably not. Was it terrible? For just 1 night is more then alright, the people were really nice, and everything was walking distance, even though they should update the picture of the square on their website, because it doesn’t look like that anymore. Overal I probably wouldn’t come here anymore, but it was alright for just one time.

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral - besser geht es nicht! Man ist sofort in der Einkaufsstraße und am Place Stanislaw . Die Zimmer sind klein , aber für Kurzaufenthalt ausreichend. Das Bad - wie meistens bei Mercure- zu viel Plastik und wenig Hygiene Artikel. Hervorragend war das Frühstück, sehr üppig, außergewöhnlich für Frankreich

The Mercure have a professional reservation system so what was this chap using? He also had a queue of annoyed people waiting to check in behind me. Eventually he walked me across to the lift and configured my room key using a gadget on the wall at the foot of the stairs. Crazy! The breakfast restaurant is too small for the capacity of the hotel. The choice was fine but It soon filled up and although two people were busy replenishing the servery, no one was on hand to supervise the situation. It seems there’s something very odd going on at this Mercure. We cancelled our return stopover

The rooms were OK, the distance to Place Stanislas perfect. Principally it would have been a nice stay...the room my daughters were in, was fine. There was a hotel parking, also good. BUT: Every night in my room (215) there was a very loud and strange noise for several seconds every approximately 8 minutes, usually starting at around 4 o'clock in the morning. This rhytm then went on for hours. Strangely this noise wasn't present during the rest of the day or the evening. However, this meant a maximum of 4-5 hours sleep. I informed the front desk after the first night and got told someone would look after this, I asked if I could change room, but was told the hotel was full. So when I returned in the evening things appeared OK...UNTIL 4:15. when the noise started again. The night was over. I was so angry and went to the frontdesk again...but was told there was no help in sight as it was the weekend...I was offered a refund of 41 Euro for the inconvenience....The lady told me this was the absolute max she could do...Well, we had to leave, so I took the 41 Euro. After returning home I wrote again to the hotel...no reaction...So, the hotel would have been OK, but the handling of the situation wasn't acceptable at all. 3 Stars because there were no problems with the other room

Lovely clean hotel right in the centre of Nancy. Great on-site secure parking. Lovely comfortable bed and pillows. Everything was so clean and the staff were very helpful. Would stay here again.

Good location for place stanislas. Limited parking for about 20 euro per night. Room had aircon. Underground parking is behind the reception entrance. As you look at the hotel turn left then right and entrance is on the right
