This is an excellent boutique hotel. What a find! From the initial contact upon arrival, through to departure today, we really couldn’t fault it. And the best bit (if that’s possible as it all was excellent) is the staff. Everyone had a smile and couldn’t do enough for you. From the front desk to the back room staff to the staff at breakfast. So, so helpful and also very considerate towards our dog. A smile costs nothing. And the staff here excel at it. Excellent location too. Very close to the port area with an endless choice of restaurants, bars etc. Breakfast was excellent too. Fantastic choice of teas, coffees, food etc. And try the hotels home made granola!! Exquisite. The only very slight negative criticism was we had a bath and not a shower (shower handset was attached to the bath taps). But that didn’t detract at all from our stay. It made a pleasant change having a bath!! You do need to contact the hotel directly to book car parking. But don’t worry if you don’t get a space, there is a huge public car park right behind the hotel that is reasonably priced (€8 for 20-hours and overnight). We will most definitely stay here again next year on our drive home from Spain, but will stay for a couple of nights next time to explore La Rochelle. Thank you to the staff at the hotel for making our stay so pleasant and memorable.

Fabulous hotel, perfect for a trip to La Rochelle. Very close to the centre and bars/restaurants. Great and helpful staff. Really nice clean room. We’d recommend.

The hotel was perfect as i have rated. I would recommend a stay to anyone. The staff went over & above in every way. The only thing i could recommend is that the black sunbeds had a cushion or were made of different materials as they were much too hot to even touch. Also supply sun shades ie. Umbrellas. Otherwise the hotel was perfect & would definitely stay there again.
