I have no idea how this property is as highly rated as it is. The hotel looked like it hadn't been updated since the 1970's and not in a cute way. The room had an overwhelming musty smell. The best was rock hard. There was a heatwave at the time and the best we were given was a cheap, loud fan. We ended up leaving and finding another hotel within 20 minutes of our arrival.

First the good things: 1. Location is just awesome, walkable from bus stop, many restaurants, and all major baths Close to Lichtental Alley which is a lovely place for a beautiful walk along the stream 2. Breakfast spread and restaurant service was very good Not so good things: 1. Room was very large but very basic. Kettle can be requested but there was no sugar/teabags/milk in the room. No intercom. Safe was there but locked and we were told it’s not operational. Quality of towels was pretty basic. 2. Corridors and the lighting in the room was very less. Corridors were mostly dark and you had to manually switch on the lights. 3. Checkin was very business like and was not a very friendly or welcoming experience. Overall I would say the hotel would do well if they can keep guests’ comfort as the central focus, which seemed a bit missing.

Das ganze Haus hat zwar den Charme der 70er aber es war alles sehr gepflegt und gut instand. Die Wege waren jedoch sehr verschachtelt, was wohl dem Gelände geschuldet ist, auf dem es errichtet wurde. Die Tiefgarage ist recht eng, und Autos mit tiefer Stoßstange sollten die nicht nutzen. Sehr erfreulich war das reichhaltige Frühstück - und es ist den Preis wirklich wert. Alles in allem ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt.

Das Hotel hat eine zentrale und gute Lage. Die Ausstattung ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber die Zimmer sind geräumig, zur Sophienstraße lauter, aber nur bei geöffneten Fenstern. Sie werden täglich gereinigt. Etwas enge Parkplätze in der Tiefgarage, aber besser als keine. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt in dieser ansonsten teuren Kurstadt. Ideal für kurzen Aufenthalt.

Vriendelijk personeel, schoon!, netjes, ontbijt goed, alles op loopafstand qua winkels/restaurant en een mooi park. Wat wel minder was, het was warm 27/30 graden, geen airco/wel een goede stille ventilator, wij zaten in kamer 408, top etage, zit aan de straatkant en moesten wel echt de ramen open doen met slapen om het af te laten koelen. Dat is best gehorig qua verkeer. Misschien een verrijdbare airco?? Verder hebben wij een prima verblijf gehad, 2 nachten, op doorreis naar Italië. Voor een eventuele volgende keer, maar dan kamer niet aan de straatkant, zou ik het zo weer doen!

We had a large and comfortable room on the top floor which was very quiet. Decor a little dated with several things not working (the room safe, the sink plug and the hairdryer - although a second one had been supplied). There is no tea or coffee making facility in the room and even a bottle of water is charged for. Breakfast is excellent. Carpark is very convenient under the hotel and though expensive per night is cheaper than the others in the town. Excellent convenient location for all the sites of interest in the small town.

I had a really enjoyable stay at this hotel. The room was large, spotlessly clean, and offered great service throughout. One of the real highlights was the beautiful balcony overlooking a peaceful, tree-lined street. The space itself was bright, airy, and well-maintained, and overall the hotel felt welcoming and well run. I only had two small gripes: firstly, I really wished there had been a kettle in the room – it’s a small touch that makes a big difference, especially for tea drinkers! Secondly, the "double" bed was actually two singles pushed together, and unfortunately, they hadn’t used a single large sheet or blanket to bring it together properly. Ich fand das Hotel sehr sauber. Die Lage ist topp. Ichhatte ein Doppelzimmer zur Einzelnutzung. Die Matratzen waren gut. Mein Zimmer war überdimensional groß. Es fehlte die Gemütlichkeit. Das Bad war sehr klein und kein Zahnputzglas vorhanden. Die Zimmerbar sehr spartanisch gefüllt mit nur 2 Flaschen Mineralwasser. Der Frühstücksraum eher kühl und spartanisch eingerichtet. Frühstücksbüffett mit 15 Euro reichhaltig. Trotzdem habe ich mich dort nicht wirklich wohlgefühlt.

The hotel has a perfect location. Thermal bath spa is behind the building. It is located in downtown and close to shopping and restaurants. Rooms are spacious. Our room had large bedroom area and large living room area. The room was clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The best was breakfast. First of all, the food was delicious. Secondly, sparkling wine was offered during the breakfast. And the last, there was a young girl, who was playing violin during the breakfast. I was impressed. Can you imagine having breakfast in a nice restaurant with a glass of sparkling wine, and listening to the live violin music. We would like to thank hotel management for making our stay at the hotel comfortable and enjoyable.

Cet hôtel a tous les atouts. Situé au centre de la ville, nous avons pu nous promener le soir et dîner en ville. Le stationnement est aisé,.avec un parking souterrain tout proche. Nous avons pu stationner devant les portes de l'hôtel, le temps de poser et reprendre les bagages. Personnel très aimable.

This hotel is literally on the main road which as a bus to and from the train station. It is also a very short walk to the Carcalla Therme Spa and Friedrichsbad Spa. Location is amazing.

The hotel is pretty dated. As a matter of fact, there was an ongoing major renovation project which generated a lot of noise. On the other hand, the location is perfect for those wanting to go to the two major baths in Baden Baden which are located about a block from the hotel. The same is true for the pleasant pedestrian area/district also located a block from the hotel.

Das Zimmer war sehr groß und schön eingerichtet. Großer Fernsehbildschirm mit Netflix, youtube, toll für Kinder... Das Frühstück war auch hervorragend. Lediglich die vielen Treppenstufen am Eingang waren nicht so komfortabel. Zudem war die Garage des Hotels voll, so dass wir das Auto leider in einem anderen Parkhaus in der Straße parken mussten.
