Excellent family friendly hotel . We stayed in family rooms very spacious and very comfortable beds . Food was lovely with very friendly staff and spotlessly clean . Great kids club for to keep your kids entertained . Overall great stay only small problem was heat in rooms but a fan was provided.

Amazing, very comfortable but very warm. Kids loved the pool and the sauna steam room and hot tub were great. Dinner was lovely and served very quickly. Gym had a good range of machines, nice vibe and the whole leisure experience was lovely.

We booked this property so that we had a closer drive to the Dublin airport for our flight to the next morning. I wish they did rooms with two queen beds instead of a queen bed and a single. We had to get two rooms for a family of four, which was very expensive. The Expedia listing said that the property had an arcade/game room, which turned out to be for a little kids. They should be clearer that it is for young children. My teenage boys were disappointed. Parking is quite chaotic for this hotel, as it competes with a shopping plaza and the leisure center, which is open to the public.. The breakfast was really amazing at this hotel,

Overall the hotel is fantastic for families and I'm sure couples too. The people working there are lovely and the kids especially loved the pool area and the breakfast. Its very convenient for shopping centres in Dublin (liffey valley and blanchardstown centre) and Emerald Park(tayto park for most of us still)

Liked parking and electric car charger available at property.Next to small supermarket and walking distance to local pubs and restaurants.Need to wear a swimming cap at pool , communal changing rooms no private changing and need padlock to secure locker.Needs updating also quite busy as open to leisure centre members and adult pool in lanes.Long walk to to room from reception.

Room wasn’t great smell of urine when yo went into room. Found someone else under ware inside a wardrobe!! Child’s cot was a towel in side pillow case. Base cot like a board. The shower /bath dirty looking shower head leaking Staff were very very nice couldn’t fault. Breakfast very basic food wasn’t fresh bread all handled but every one no tongs.. very dissatisfied with our stay won’t be returning

This is a lovely hotel within walking distance to Maynooth University. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Shoda Markey Cafe is a great place to grab breakfast and a quick lunch with a fun atmosphere. I highly recommend!

On arrival the lobby is very bright, modern and fresh. Staff very friendly. Rooms was clean. Bathroom was tired looking. Rust stains running down the tiles. Floor badly tiled. Bed was fairly comfortable. Good tea/coffee making facilities. Hotel corridors very quiet. Excellent selection for breakfast. Evening meals was also very good.

Séjour de 4 nuits qui a très bien débuté néanmoins le troisième soir, lors de notre retour vers 11H, nous avons eu la désagréable surprise de constater que la chambre n'avait pas été faite (pas de ménage : chambre laissée comme nous l'avons laissée le matin, lit non refait et salle de bains non nettoyée). Nous étions très contrariés d'autant qu'il était tard dans la soirée. La réception s'est a peine excusée et nous a proposé de déménager et dormir dans la chambre adjacente à la notre mais plus petite. Le lendemain matin, nous avons fait savoir que nous souhaitions retourner dans notre chambre initiale et a priori cela n'était pas du gout de la réception. De plus,, nous avons fait savoir que des le départ nous n'avions que de grandes serviettes de toilettes et pas de petites et avons demande qu'il y en ait pour notre dernière nuit. Mais à priori, il n'ont pas compris car toujours pas de petites serviettes. Et dernier détail, il n'y avait pas de sèche cheveux dans notre chambre initiale mais en avait dans la deuxième. Pour un hôtel de ce standing et au prix demandé, je trouve que ce n'est pas très professionnel.A part ce problème, le petit déjeuner est correct

The floor of the room bounced & sagged, one of the beds had hair and crumbs in it. The room service arrived uncovered (unsanitary) and all the food was luke-wam or cold. The window was broken. This stay was anything but hospitable.

Hotel was lovely but the rooms had no towels in them which was strange. Had to ring for towels to be sent to room. Also no heating and had to get a heater.

Rooms were hot(16-18degrees outside)- we had a mobile air conditioning unit in the room but this was too noisy to keep on. Other rooms had a fan you could use. Obviously a real problem if a good night’s sleep is important to you. Hotel was fine otherwise

Doesn’t really portray that the property sits opposite a shopping centre from the photos. Room was tired. Worn furniture, multiple stains on carpets both in room and along corridor. Walls very thin as could hear neighbours. Overall disappointed considering the price we were charged. Would not stay again

Overall, a superb hotel, very clean, amazing 5 star quality staff and the food was superb. My one issue was the room not having air con. The room was 26 degrees all night and like an oven. Made it very uncomfortable and hard to sleep.

Absolutely fantastic hotel and we are so grateful for the excellent hospitality. Unfortunately we were staying here for a funeral but this hotel and their staff were exceptional during our stay and ensured we felt comfortable and had a great experience despite the circumstances. We are so thankful for all of you. Thank you so much. Excellent rooms, amazing beds and amenities. 100% recommend to anyone. Such a wonderful experience.

Location is just great, on Maynooth center, walkable for many dining options , the canal, train station , breakfast was ok ( can add more vegetables options :) Room was ok, but a little bit small , overall service is good , thank you !

Glenroyal is a gem, a great place to stay with excellent facilities including pools and a fitness center to rival any I have attended. The location is close to Dublin and off their commuter train and main highways. We enjoyed the nearby town of Maynooth, this is a college town so it can get busier during those months But there are sights to see within ha short walk from the hotel and plenty of restaurants The breakfast buffet was excellent here as well

Glen Royal is an excellent hotel at the outskirts of Dublin. 40 minutes drive from Dublin. Good spacious family rooms with comfortable beds. Bathroom needed some work. The breakfast was good with other facilities like gym. Overall reasonably priced hotel near Dublin. Ideal place to stay with free car park to go around Dublin.

Fairly enjoyable. My son loved the pool. Staff were very nice and we had the best time. Very close to emerald park too. Room service was fast. It's definitely kid friendly and it's a lovely hotel. Two things I'd say is breakfast didn't have much variety for vegetarian/ vegan dietary needs so in the mornings I was offen left hungry. Pool area was great but on our last day there was class on which meant most of the pool was being used. We were told we can go in the side and it would be over in 30 minutes but the class went over. Eventually we got access to the whole pool only for another class to start shortly after. My son was left disappointed as we were stuck in the side of the pool for the majority of the time.
