Great breakfast. lovely staff. Would love to see the pool area (sauna etc) given some TLC.

From start to finish the experience was amazing! The staff were very genuine and friendly and clearly happy in their jobs. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is a bit dated but if you like character and not the pristine marble floors and clinical hotel feel this one is for you! The gym is huge and really well stocked. The pool facilities are also excellent. Food is really fresh Irish type bar food with lots of local fish to choose. Breakfast also very good. I’ve stayed in lots of hotels across the world and this is up there with the best! Very family friendly too and walking distance local super market. EEV charger 5 mins away at rail station. Well done to the family run hotel. I will definitely be back

Lovely Hotel staff friendly

Lovely hotel in Gort, Galway. Great entrance area with an impressive oak staircase Spacious and well decorated room. Breakfast was excellent with very attentive staff, who kept replenishing our tea and coffee. The lounge / bar area was very comfortable as well. We did not have lunch or evening meals in the bar/restaurant but we saw many local people and families enjoying the food. Some of our party used the pool and said it was lovely and hot. Swimming caps were provided.
