Very clean rooms and the whole hotel is in great condition. Marvao is a very special and nice village within an old fortress on top of a mountain about 840 meters over the sea level. Owners and staff are very friendly and welcoming. We had a lovely stay!

We found this hotel to be very nice. While the room was small it was clean and comfortable and met our needs perfectly. The staff was lovely and had a nice breakfast.

Clean room, great location within the castle with an amazing view, friendly and helpful staff, awesome food in the restaurant. The hotel carries the history and cultural features of Portugal. Unforgettable experience!

A lovely hotel. I think it’s family run and very friendly and helpful. Very clean and they have a restaurant for lunch and dinner as well as breakfast.
