The hotel staff were very friendly and professional. The room was clean. Poor location of shower door. You have to go into the shower to turn the water on. Cold blast of water was a wake-up, indeed. The problem I had was parking. I drive a full size pickup, so valet was out of the question. I ended up having to park in a pay lot. The problem with that is that my card got hacked because i downloaded the QR code at the lot. Parkers beware. Other than those issues, my stay was pleasant.

It was an old building that was made into a hotel. It was really nice. The o lot thing I can complain about it parking. No lot and was forced to pay valet or walk to a garage.

Parking and unloading is difficult. Checkin is on Second floor and parking is in a public parking garage next to hotel but not connected so we had to carry all our belongings through parking lot to hotel. Then we had to wait at checkin desk for almost 10 mins. Employee behaved as if we were an inconvenience and looked like she could be sick. Dog friendly hotel but no place to take dog out to bathroom. Would not recommend unless it’s a one night visit with little luggage.

I did not like how far away the self parking was for this property. It was a block and a half behind the front door with no other options and only 1 out of 3 elevators were working in the garage parking ramp.

The only thing I didn’t like was parking. As I had to park to get everyone up into the room and everything unloaded and we left to go do stuff this fee for 45 min $8.99. Next time we came back we had to park again in parking garage. This again 8.99 for 8 hours prob because it was the weekend. During the week I think you pay more. Anyways. We left the next morning 18.99 it cost us to be there over night plus a few more hours before checking out. There should be a discount offered if spending 200 dollars on a room for one night.

Property was nice and convenient to any downtown locations. Parking across the street was super convenient. Heat in the room was not super hot. Had set to 72 but room could not go past 66 on a cold January night. Needed a sweater on.

The shower was dirty with hair in it upon arrival. The walls are super thin and you can hear everything. The parking garage adjacent is a nightmare and the elevator does not work. So you have to pack luggage and everything up and down stairs depending on what level you have to park on. Would def not stay here again, there much better options at the price of $250 a night which is what we paid.

Overall the hotel and lobby are nice but areas definitely need help. Cracked tiles, worn rugs and some places filthy and stained carpet, especially on the stairs. Our room smelled of urine smelling disinfectant immediately and even on the bedding. The floors and carpet was very sticky. The bed was made very poorly and someone used a mattress pad for the spread. The sheets were stained. The coffee maker was missing the coffee basket and one was brought up to us right away when I requested at the front desk but it didn't fit either. Breakfast was very good and all of the staff were pleasant and courteous. We were told the bar was open until 11 pm. We were in town for the ballgame and went there at 10:45 pm and it was closed so we had to go find somewhere else which was fine since there was a nice bar on the corner. The hotel is within walking distance of the ball park and several other bars and restaurants.

The room 616 had BED BUGS I had to move to 812 another room which was a lot smaller then what I originally paid for I went to a king when I paid for two Queen which was very inconvenient. Was I compensated for the smaller room??

I want to first say that the staff was very friendly and tried to accommodate or needs. The first room we were given had roaches under the couch, on the table and near the kitchen area. We immediately went to the front desk and we’re upgraded to another room. After some though we decided would be best for us to just leave. Would not recommend staying here. Also give your security guards better chairs to sit in for their long shifts, please!

The first room we checked into was not actually clean and ready. There were no sheets on the bed. The front desk staff found another room and we checked into that one. When I went to wash my hands in the bathroom, the top of the pump for the hand soap and the hand lotion were so dirty that I had to clean them. They were covered in what was probably make up. The shower was so poorly designed that water just leaks out onto the floor. Even turning on the shower is hard because you have to reach around and pretty much stand in the cold water while you get the water adjusted. The front desk staff was extremely nice and accommodating. But the hotel is definitely in need of renovation and probably a better housekeeping staff.

All staff interactions here were excellent. From the front desk to the valet everyone was friendly, warm and helpful. The hotel is fine, however overall the rooms just seemed like they needed a little extra TLC. Many of the doors were brown with dirt, and door handles needed wiped down. Overall enjoyed our stay, but would have loved to see a little extra attention to detail on the cleanliness.

The room was nicely laid out, quiet and it had a very nice shower. Also the breakfast was very enjoyable. However, we were never able to connect to the internet and it would have been nice to have a safe and a bedside clock. And we don’t remember seeing a telephone in the room. That being said, we would make a return visit!

The staff is very friendly and cooperative. The location is excellent surrounded by areas of interest. The facilities are in urgent need of renovation. The hotel looks old and run down. I had to sleep on the sofa bed, I spent 3 terrible nights due to the poor condition of the mattress. Im not sure I would return to this hotel

One of the worst experiences I’ve had at a hotel. Our rooms a/c did not cool. Didn’t budge from 77 degrees while it was 90 degrees outside. Three times we asked for maintenance to come and they never did. They didn’t even accommodate us to another room. We even tried to take cold showers and the water ran hot. Can’t imagine the warm, humid rooms not growing mold. Lots of construction and city noise as well so be aware. The only upside was the proximity to many places we were visiting. Never staying here again.

Location to downtown was great! There with my sons for 2 nights - the suite was old and worn. Sleeper sofa was circa 2000. Mattress was incredibly old and wiry. We received (evidently) a handicapped bathroom which was dark and dingy. The old TV's had remotes with no guides and no channel guides so you could only switch up and down to change with no idea what was playing. Shower was warm, at best. Incredibly disappointed.

The staff were honestly some of the best hotel staff that I have ever interacted with. They continuously went above and beyond to make sure that we had everything that we needed. Area was very safe and had easy access to many attractions.

It is a Saturday night and you would like to think hotels would have staff to accommodate a busy weekend date. Instead, there was no staff at the Homewood Suites front desk. Waited 10 minutes until housekeeping told us to go to next door Hampton desk. Then waited 15 minutes. Could not check in. Went for a long walk and came back at 4PM. Checking was to be at 3PM. Could not gain access to our room until 4:15PM. 45 MINUTES to wait in line to simply check in. 2 staff total to manage the front desk of two hotels. They could not take my credit card at the one hotel and made me walk to the other to process. Ridiculous and longest wait we have ever had in any hotel in the world, literally. We have been to 70 countries as well and spend a lot on hotel stays in the United States and worldwide.

The staff were all amazing! I didn't catch the lobby manager's name, but he was fantastic. He took pictures for us and even at us up a little hot chocolate bar. The valet drivers were also great and hustled to have our car in and out quickly. The lobby area of the hotel is absolutely gorgeous!
The staff were all amazing! I didn't catch the lobby manager's name, but he was fantastic. He took pictures for us and even at us up a little hot chocolate bar. The valet drivers were also great and hustled to have our car in and out quickly. The lobby area of the hotel is absolutely gorgeous!

One of the worst experiences I’ve had at a hotel. Our rooms a/c did not cool. Didn’t budge from 77 degrees while it was 90 degrees outside. Three times we asked for maintenance to come and they never did. They didn’t even accommodate us to another room. We even tried to take cold showers and the water ran hot. Can’t imagine the warm, humid rooms not growing mold. Lots of construction and city noise as well so be aware. The only upside was the proximity to many places we were visiting. Never staying here again.

The staff was incompetent and blatantly lied to our Expedia rep about our situation. They claim they gave our family of 6 a rollaway bed to accommodate two teenage boys when in fact they didn’t have the room we booked, it had chairs instead of a couch and we ended up having to purchase a SECOND room for almost $300 extra and split up the family. I wouldn’t be as grossed out if we’d have been offered a discount or they at least admitted the situation. But no, they flat out lied. Do yourself a favor and go to a Marriott. I won’t be using Hilton again. The service was sub-par, the rooms were mid and the staff had no clue what they are doing. Customer service isn’t a priority here.

This will be my 3rd time booking at this hotel never had any bad experiences except this time. Check in was at 3PM but we arrived at 4:30PM and the front desk told us the room wasn't ready yet. We were told to wait 30-35 minutes until the room is cleaned. Waited 35 minutes and then was told the room is still not ready and didn't give an estimation this time. So instead of waiting for however long which the gentleman called and asked housekeeping and they hadn't even begun on our room so in that 35 minutes nothing happened so we asked if we could get another room and thankfully we got one right away at 5:30PM which is 2 hours and 30 minutes from 3PM check in. I'm disappointed I really like this hotel but I may look into a different hotel after this experience going forward.

If you like having coffee with homeless people in the morning and smelling human urine in all stairwells and parking garage, This is the hotel for you. So incredibly sad, because the location near Paycor is fantastic, but we felt super unsafe. The best part of our stay was Josh at the breakfast buffet. He was an amazing worker and tried his best to clean tables, bring food out quickly, and interact with guests. He was amazing and deserves a promotion. He was smarter, more personable and knowledgeable than the women running the front desk (including the manager).

Building is very old but really nice inside. Outside there are closed businesses, kind of rundown. There's no direct access to the hotel from the parking garage. We had to leave the garage with our luggage, walk around the corner to the entrance. The entrance doesn't stand out as the entrance to the hotel--I called to confirm that it was the entrance. The area feels a little unsafe.

The breakfast crew was great, the breakfast was not. The homewood side was closed so it was the Hampton breakfast, and unfortunately a large part of why we chose Homewood was the breakfast. The last night our AC went out in the middle of the night - I told the front desk early in the morning, no one came to our room until 10 minutes before checkout.

This was a rough stay. I booked a king suite a few months in advance, arrived to find all the king suites were occupied or had not yet been cleaned. They eventually dug us up a room after standing around for 15 minutes but the room was rough and not the vibe and price of a "suite". To top it off, the shower head was corroded to the point where it barely spit water out. The breakfast was pretty much gone by the time we got down there around 9am. They tried bringing food out to the hungry patrons but couldn't keep up. At the end of the day, we were able to safely sleep but was hoping for a bit more for the price we paid.

It was convenient to stay there for one night when traveling in for a show. I can say that the breakfast buffet was the worst tasting food we've ever had at a hotel. We were hungry after a long night and went to eat somewhere else.

We found that the breakfast has deteriorated greatly. No fruit. Previously there was glass dish ware and stainless cutlery. Now just single use plastic. I appreciate having good, old fashioned oatmeal available, but the 4 oz styrofoam bowl was completely inadequate.

Check in took longer than it should have, only one person checking people in during a very eventful weekend. And the lady walked away from the desk for 5 minutes while there were 3 of us in line. Breakfast was not provided until 10am as stated. They team out at 9:30 & decided they didn’t need to make anything more. We booked a suite for 4 and there weren’t enough amenities (including towels and wash rags) for 4 in the suite. When I let them know there would be 4 in the room, I anticipated they would stock the room for 4. Also, Homewood Suites and Hampton Inn are the same building, basically one hotel with separate prices. Weird.
