This hotel exceeded all of our expectations. We stayed in Junior Room 304, and it was absolutely perfect for our family. The room was spacious, the bathroom was huge, and there was more than enough room for a family of three or four to be comfortable. The welcome amenities were a wonderful touch. We were greeted with a complimentary bottle of wine, and the in-room coffee maker with coffee pods was excellent. The complimentary breakfast was one of the best we’ve ever had. The selection was extensive, the quality of the food was outstanding, and there was something for everyone. It was far beyond what we expected. The pool area is fantastic, with plenty of loungers and lots of space to relax. There’s also a separate baby pool, which is perfect for families with young children. The hotel offers quick and easy access to the beach, making it an ideal location for a relaxing vacation. Parking is available in the underground parkade for 65 shekels per day (subject to availability). You’ll receive a remote for access, and you simply pay each day in advance to reserve your space. Overall, this hotel was exceptional in every way. We would recommend it without hesitation—110%!

Nice hotel, clean room. However, the way to the sea from the hotel includes many stairs. The pool has no shadow at all. There is no air condition outside the rooms.

I almost slipped in the pool because it has tile floors that are obviously wet and it gets very slippery and the pool was one of these old-fashioned Thai pools from like the 1970s and was uncomfortably cold. It was just like square and big for maybe lap swimming but not what you would imagine a resort. There were also no chairs or anywhere to sit on the beach and it was very difficult to open the door to get to the beach, but I would just walk around through the public park.

Location is great, and prices aren't bad for a beachfront hotel. The secret sauce at Herbert Samuels Okeanos wasn't that everything was perfect. It's that when it was confusing or not perfect, staff always had an answer and an immediate fix. The breakfast is sensational.

Sadly, my 8 year old granddaughter and I were given a room that had clearly been smoked in. We checked in rather late and were really looking forward to relaxing but when we went back to the front desk to report the problem we were told that the hotel was full and that there was no other room to offer us. They then recommended that we open the balcony doors as well as the door to the room in order to air it out. I was extremely uncomfortable with the suggestion that I leave our door wide open, though I did leave the balcony door open for a while (with no change). While they did send a staff to mop the floor it was ineffective. The smell totally nauseated me and so I slept very poorly. We checked out at 10 am because the smell was intolerable to me. While checking out I got the impression that the hotel was not at full capacity but rather that an equivalent room was not available. Needless to say I would not recommend this hotel though it is a nice looking facility in a good location. I did email the manager who responded immediately and offered me several options to try to make up for the terrible experience but none will truly compensate me for a rather expensive stay.
