Nice property with clean and comfortable room. Helpful staff. Nice breakfast for size of location. Only oddity is that there is no onsite laundry, but they utilize the facilities of the KOA campground next door that can be busy at times.

The room was quiet, bed was comfortable. We loved the patio with the fire pit & a beautiful view of the mountains. The country store was handy. And being invited to have s’mores at the KOA was fun. We really appreciated the water bottle refill station. The lobby was cozy, the table helpful for the board games they offered. Highly recommend.

Great check in. Sam at the desk was very helpful. Made sure we were comfortable with the fire pit outside and the lights turned on. Would definitely recommend hotel to friends.

Friendly staff, clean, comfortable beds. Didn't like not having a elevator. Continental breakfast didn't offer much and it was very crowded, nowhere to sit so we didn't eat.

The only dining option within 8 miles is a pizza place at the RV park. The updates to hotel were nice but there was no elevator to carry all our bags up. Heard people thumping suitcases up or down the stairs. The RV park next door has a very cute gift shop with a convenience store.

Got to the motel around 5:30. There was no one at the front desk. Waited about six minutes and another couple came, still no staff. I had to walk around the motel yelling trying to find someone. Eventually found someone with room staff who found the manager. He apologized and was friendly. Room was small and worn, but did have a view of the lake. Cobwebs in the bathroom. Not within walking distance of anything.

Wonderful stay for 3 nights very close to the west entrance to Yellowstone. Great staff who were all super helpful and responsive to everything. Beds were super comfortable and roomy. Room was well appointed and very clean. Breakfast was free with plenty of options. We would stay here again for sure!

Enjoyed our stay, rooms a little on the small size, but otherwise beds were comfy & the room was clean & staff were helpful. As a bonus, you can use the coin operated laundry at the caravan park next door if you need to do some clothes washing.

We loved the location of this hotel....outside of town with beautiful mountain views. The rooms were clean and appeared to be recently renovated but were small. We also found the hotel to be a bit noisy but not terribly so.

Overall the inn was good. Beds were pretty comfortable, however pillows were too firm for my liking. Another miss for us were no towel hooks to hang used bath towels since room service is not offered every day, and mo toilet seat cover. In an already very small bathroom with no place to hang things, we had clothing fall into the toilet trying to get ready. If those modifications were made to the room, it would be better.

The hotel is dated. The biggest issue is there is literally no sink area in the bathroom to put anything. Our room had no closet only a small rickety make shift wardrobe. The room was very small. It is a shame the West Yellowstone hotels are so expensive for what you get. Your a captive audience there and they can charge what they want it seems.

We liked the proximity to West Yellowstone and the entrance to Yellowstone. Room was very clean and bed was comfortable. We had a room with an adjoining door. We could hear our neighbors' TV and could even understand their conversations. Luckily they settled down around the time we did, but it felt quite intrusive.

Staff is 5 star. Lobby had fresh coffee both in the morning and in the evening. There is an ice machine in the breakfast area along with a water fountain where you can fill up your water bottle. Breakfast was sufficient - choices are limited but it hit the spot. The rooms are TINY.

Best mattress I've ever had in any hotel ever. It's a ways out of town but worth the drive. Nice and quiet with the campground far enough away. Only negative thing I could say is the bathroom. Why no lid on the toilet? No where to set your clothes while you shower. The sink was super hard to reach as well. Other than that? Great room!!!! Will stay there again if we're in town.

Overall this property is fine, because it's older. We just wished that during the recent renovation that the walls and doors could have been updated better for sounds. The walls seemed to be very thin, allowing way too much of the neighbors room and outside noises to come through, keeping us awake most of the night.

Parking was good, everything on one floor. Room wasn't cleaned daily. Had to tell the desk you needed towels daily, they want you to reuse. The staff was friendly and sttentive. The rioms are small, not suitable for a family.

The staff was amazing from check in to check out. They were super helpful and very friendly. Also the amenities were above and beyond what we expected from the larger mini fridge and ample storage in the room to the breakfast choices with 24 hour coffee. Our room and the public areas were super clean, I have never seen a cleaner laundry area! We will be sure to recommend to all our friends.

We had a bad experience with the bathroom condition. The tub was not draining properly and the water during shower and after shower wouldn't drain on its own. We had to press the knob of the drain till the water drained out which was taking a long time. We requested maintenance but the front desk didn't bother to fix the problem. As the tub was remaining dirty due to this issue we requested housekeeping but still they didn't bother. They said there was only one housekeeping person. Inspire of paying high rate we had to deal with a broken and dirty bathroom during our 4 day stay. I asked for the manager but the front desk said it was too late at night and she would inform the manager next day. But the manager didn't bother to call. I travel a lot but have rarely come across this kind of attitude towards customer. Very poor service.

The building was clean, easy to use, great quality, staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and helpful, the staff went out of their way for us, breakfast was great, coffee and tea available in lobby all day, liked the location it wasn’t in town but it wasn’t very far away, nice view from location, lobby is very nice, overall great stay would stay there again.

It was terrible. When we first got there we asked for rooms close to each other and was asked if we booked through a 3rd party. When we said yes she said well that’s why and we can’t do that for you. We have always booked those Expedia and have never had a problem before. They put us on separate floors at the opposite ends of the building. She said you don’t need to be in your room anyway you can just sit outside together. She was incredibly rude. We checked out a day early because we could not stay there any longer. When I asked for a refund for the second night I was told that I needed to ask Expedia as they could do nothing for me. I have never been treated so rudely. I even got a call the next morning and when I said I was treated rudely I didn’t even have to give a name because the manager knew who I was talking about. Anyway needless to say will not be staying there again!!

During our stay the facility lost power overnight for approx. 7 hours and all kinds of bells, alarms & appliances were going off. Temperature became unbearable. Hotel staff was advised of our complaint prior to check out & assured a refund. 7 calls were made to Orbitz and the GM and assistant GM who never had the decency to call back even after we were assured we would get a refund as a result of our inconvenience. This hotel clearly doesn’t value their customers, and I would never stay there again in the future.

I’ve been traveling 3 straight weeks and have probably stayed in 15 different hotels in that time. I have NEVER stayed in a more unfriendly, poor customer service hotel. Checked in. Hardly a greeting, no conversation, didn’t even tell us about breakfast. Coke machine took $2.25…nope, we can’t help you, and we won’t put a note on the machine so it doesn’t take others money, too. Laundry was unavailable. Checking out- just look at me, take the key and say nothing at all?!! The front desk staff in the evening AND morning act like your business is a nuisance. So they won’t be getting mine anymore.

The drive to Yellowstone's west gate was about 10 minutes away and went through a small resort town that offered all the necessary amenities and good dining and shopping. Great property on Wyoming and Montana border in West Yellowstone forestland with easy and quick access to west entrance. Sunrise was beautiful to watch everyday. Nice pizza place adjacent to property. Welcoming staff. Highly recommend and will definately consider again when back in Yellowstone.

We stayed at Mountain Vista Hotel in West Yellowstone and found it to be a great spot for our trip. The only dining option within 8 miles is a pizza place at the RV park. The updates to hotel were nice but there was no elevator to carry all our bags up. Heard people thumping suitcases up or down the stairs. The RV park next door has a very cute gift shop with a convenience store.

My daughter and I really like this place. The rooms were very nice and everything was clean and in good working order. Probably the best thing about this place was how helpful, polite, and friendly the entire staff was. The only downside is that it doesn’t have an elevator, so you have to lug your suitcases up the stairs to get to your room.

Had a great experience! Stayed 5 nights exploring Yellowstone, Jackson Wyoming and Cody Wyoming, room was clean, shower and bathroom clean and functioned well with hot water, breakfast was ready at 530, another bonus for us to go ahead and get into the park!
