LakePath Beach House - XL hot tub, walk to beach

Overall the property was nice, however walking into an 85 F house wasn't what we anticipated. Thankfully the first 2 days the outside temp allowed us to open windows and cool things down a bit, but every time we tried running the HVAC system it would start heating things up again. The owners did have a technician come out to see about a fix but since it was a holiday weekend procuring parts would be difficult. We were offered another place but it was too small to accommodate our needs. We realized the extenuating circumstances were aligned against an immediate fix, but also would have appreciated a larger refund (14% of just the lodging expense) than we received for our troubles.

The kitchen was well equipped and we loved the hot tub! There was plenty of space for everyone and we enjoyed the beach which was a close walk! Overall a great place for our family gathering!

We had a wonderful stay for our girls’ weekend! The home is very inviting, tastefully decorated and has plenty of room. We enjoyed making our meals in the well-stocked kitchen and then dining on the beautiful deck. Just a quick jaunt and you can admire beautiful Lake Michigan and enjoy its glorious beach. Lots of neat shops to discover are just a short drive away. Upon your return, relax in the extra large and crystal clear hot tub! Our host was extremely accessible and communicated well from start to finish. Five stars all the way!!

This house was great for our families to stay in. The hot tub and deck were great. The short walk to the roadside park was perfect to get to the beach. We appreciated all the towels and beach chairs. The outdoor shower was a plus gor keeping sand out of the house! Ac worked great for the humid days!The main floor pull out was comfortable, the lower level pull out was unusable, so dont count on that as a place to sleep. Overall we loved our stay and would gladly stay again! Owner responded quickly which was great for any questions that came up!
