We stayed from 16th - 19th May and were greeted by a friendly helpful person at check-in, then our experience went a little downhill…a cold shower/water on Sunday morning wasn’t welcoming. When we mentioned this at reception we were advised that the fault was known but nothing else ie expectation of when the issue might be resolved etc. We understand that things go wrong but it is how they are made good that makes all the difference at times. Our air conditioning stopped working on Monday evening so I alerted reception. I was told that I would receive a phone call in 10-20 minutes time, with an update. We have since checked out, and are back in Scotland. Alas, no phone call. Please don’t say you will do something then not. The gym was grand and my partner tells me the pool was good. I am unable to comment on other amenities as we did not use them. Sadly, I don’t think I would recommend the hotel to others.
