Not what I expected. So excited for the pool and it was green. No table in room or chairs.

Employees were weird and pushy about getting more toiletries, as if their $0.05 body wash is sacred. Employees were pushy about checkout with more than 20mins til regular checkout, plus I had an extended checkout and still had to let both housekeeping and the front desk know that I was staying later. It is not my job to let them know; I got my extended stay approved through the website. Also when my card declined because of a misunderstanding, the front desk called and acted like the mafia with me when I was sweet and accommodating about it being a genuine mistake. I felt pressed and interrogated being there. At least they let us get breakfast when we missed it, though. Very angry that I couldn't even wash my hair and body after the first night, your toiletries are not worth hoarding the way you do. We needed more toilet paper. We needed more towels. We got nothing and were treated like criminals when I did ask for more towels. We were also promised a pool, which was the main reason for our choice in location, and were told it was out of commission, promised it would be fixed before our stay ended, and it wasn't. False hopes, false advertisement, false smiles.

Swimming pool water green with algae. Night lamps don’t work in room we were assigned. Asked for clean towels they didn’t bring them till after I went to work.

Pool had algae and none of the ice machines worked and the people in the office very rude no coffee or breakfast door. Stay locked don’t waste your time. This place is not worth it.

Bullet holes all.over the front of hotel. Front glass and door glass gone and open. No breakfast or coffee. Very loud hotel, pool disgusting and yellow! Said 100$ for pet fee, and 50$ for incidentals. Was charged 150$ plus 295$ for no reason, canceled payment through my bank, looks like they have a skimmer with the way the payment tried to go through! I want my expedia credits BACK!!

Dirty lamp shade, wires exposed, tv bearly worked, Extention cord rigged from the restroom light switch under the carpet to power the tv. No real breakfast & pool was extremely dirty. The staff was friendly & the beds were good enough to get rest on. Now i just have to wait for my $50 deposit that was not mentioned when making my reservation to be put back on my account. 2/5 stars

No pool

The pool was green. Had to change one of my rooms twice because the toilets wouldn’t flush. And a lot of the lights wouldn’t work. The bathrooms weren’t all that clean. But the rooms were painted nice and decently clean.

I like how the parking was back off of the street. Parking spot were easy to get in and out of.

Well, the front desk clerk was very helpful, personable- great personality. The room was a bit smaller than expected but clean the TV did not work very well. It had a horrible picture. The pool looked very dirty. The front door to the office area. Check in area was broken and poorly boarded up as well the other door had multiple cracks on the glass. Apparently somebody threw a brick through over a month ago.😳😬 so first impression was not my best. Overall it was good.

This place is NASTY.. it was dirty and sheets were stand really bad they didnt even have a room ready for us when we got there they gave us a key to a room.someone was staying in

Sheets were in washed I had blood stains in my sheets.

Room was trashy. Beds uncomfortable.. no towels toilet was like a 5 year old.. short and broken

Checkin trouble. Only their master key would work, so clerk had to let me in the room each time I left. Dirty and rug was vile. Slept in clothes and kept bags on bed. Only 1 of 2 small lights worked. In morning with daylight saw wites sticking out of wall to outlet that wasnt attached to wall. Would NEVER pass inspection. Should not be operating. I should have slept in my car.

This was my third time staying here and it has been my best experience for the price in Odessa I have found. The motel manager, who was fantastic, informed me they had all brand new sheets and bedding and she wasn’t wrong. The rooms have been the cleanest out of any motel I stayed at here in Odessa.

Bathroom apparently has not been clean in days. Found dirty socks and a dirty floor in Bathroom. Will definitely not be staying in this place in the future.

The room was absolutely DISGUSTING. Black marks all over the restroom and dirt. Requested a non smoking room due to my allergies and was told because I have a small 8lb dog I had to go into a smoking room. Worst experience ever and unfortunately it was non refundable.

The staff was fantastic. We only stayed for a few hours because we had to get to the airport around 3 am. The room smelled clean but the sheets were stained and kinda gross looking. The bathroom had maybe gotten a super fast wipe down but not super clean. There were holes in the wall and cigarette burns in the carpets even though it was a no smoking hotel. I probably can see staying there for a very short period of time if you need to get to the airport but wouldn't go out of my way to stay there ever again.

Clean rooms comfy beds

First off the charged me $50 everytime you book & rebook with them, there isnt always anyone available in the office, the closet rack was old and fell apart, i had to fix it. The rooms are really small and they have roaches. Alot of sketchy activity there, I would never recommend anyone stay there, pay a little more to stay somewhere safer and cleaner.

One staff member was difficult to work with, but the others were nice. Be ready for highway noise.

Couldnt get the door to unlock. Had to go to front desk twice and after 9 swipes it finally opened. No towels and no one could bring us any cuz the front desk girl was locked out of office. Her key didnt work anywhere. No management was responding to her. The mattress was horrible. It must of been put in the motel when it opened in the 30s!Lights didnt work in the room. Didnt get clean towels until the morning after requesting them for a third time. Mold in the shower also wasnt pleasant. Think it was the worst motel I have stayed at!! Never again!

It was a ok stay not all what I was expecting but them repainting the room was ok but there weren’t many wall outlets in the room

Apparently under very new management. Have some issues to work out. No TV, no hot water, no breakfast as advertised. Room was comfortable and clean. Just needs to be refreshed.

Pictures were deceiving, this was a Hotel 1. Nothing was available for breakfast other than coffee. Water from shower and sink ran rusty for the first few mins. Although hotel was basically empty, I was not allowed a ground room and all tenants were assigned rooms next to each other which resulted in early and late night noises keeping me awake. Also no facial towels were available. Room was lacking in light and no desk or chair available to do any computer / office work.

I walked by 2 women standing outside to go check in. There was no one there. I waited about 5 minutes then yelled hello, no response. I walked back outside to look around and the 2 women were still there. I walked back inside again, waited some more. Finally one of the women walked in and asked if i needed help. She worked the front desk. She saw me and never said a word to me or to say she would be right with me. She was very sorry and rude with me. She checked me in, verbally gave me my room number . Handed me my room key with no paper sleeve on it. I booked a king bed room, when i got to my room it had 2 double beds. I walked back to tell her and she said they were all of of king rooms so she gave me what they had. She said the double room was more expensive but didn't charge me the difference. Like she was doing me a favor. The outside of the hotel smelled like Marijuana every time i walked in and out. I will never stay at this hotel again!!

It was fine. Great room for the low price. R3ceptionist was a bit dry though.

I liked the staff

Ivan the General manager did not honor my two hour early check in. I told him I needed to use the bathroom he didn’t care. I had to sit in the lobby where there health department has shut your breakfast area down. I had to hold my urine for almost hour bc he refused to let me check in like Expedia was allowing I had several refrigerated items such as milk n whip cream that sat out for longer then 2 hrs being that he wouldn’t allow me to check in

i would never stay here, now i am staying in La Quinta on the same street, really friendly staff there and more safe then Haword Johnson. looks like i stayed in Motel 6.

Hidden, unsafe and suspicious activities in parking lot. No security on property.

Staff and front desk excellent service and friendlyness. Type of people in and out not ok....room is clean and good.

The great customer service and the staff were amazing and very close to all of the amenities

I like the fact that I got a very quiet night's sleep evena freeway. Everything was clean and even the manager brought up cups right away and changed batteries in the remote. VERY NICE MANAGER. VERY NICE AND QUIET AND PROTECTED

We stayed for just a night to rest from too much driving. We thought since its Howard Johnson, then quality is good. We were wrong. The property is old and some questionable people lurking around the area. The room is small but in a way clean. Towels are good for only 1 person and the advertised breakfast is non-existent... not even coffee. I will not recommend this place for even a night.

It was bad , has no breakfast like advertised, motel kept charging my credit card .

Towels were filthy. Looked like someone had used one to remove eye makeup, and the other to clean an ass then folded up and put back on the rail, refrigerator was so loud I had to unplug it, and the hotel is next to a busy freight rail line so there was a lot of noise from that. Breakfast was terrible. Coffee was so strong it was undrinkable, and the option was waffles or a cake, not exactly nutritious nor diabetic friendly.

Nice rooms. But the breakfast fruit was rotten. :(

They only had waffle no syrup juice was coming out side of machine so no juice so we went to macdonald

There was no breakfast. No coffee. No milk. Just some stale dry cereal.

If there was a way to take stars away i would. The only expectation that should be set is expect no breakfast, no wake up calls, no good mornings, no acknowledgement of walking in and expect to be disappointed. Pictures are over complimenting this place.

Some of the staff were partaking in some ganja. Smell right on my room and on the way to the continental breakfast. The continental breakfast was severe limited to make your own waffles and fruit cups. The coffee was OK. The bar was good. Given the right staff, this place would be charming

The facility is crumbling and decaying with age. Their breakfast is a joke
