Paid for a larger room, storage was abysmal and better in the standard rooms which we saw as my parents were in one of them. They shut the pool constantly for private events with no warning. Most staff don't want to be there and are extremely rude.

Es war sehr ruhig am Stadtpark gelegen und sehr zentral. Das Rooftop war perfekt für die warme Tage. Leider waren nicht genügend Liegestühle und schattige Plätze für die Gäste.

Ich war schon in vielen The Hoxton Hotels und bin einfach ein Fan. Im Hoxton in Wien ist die Lage sehr gut, nur ein paar Min von der U4 Ubahnhaltestelle entfernt. Zimmer war schön, Lobby gemütlich. Man kann unten vor dem Hotel auch schön draußen sitzen. Aber eine ganz kleine Anmerkung: ich hatte mich sehr auf die Dachterrasse gefreut und es war eine sehr laue Sommernacht. Die Bar hat bis 01:00 Uhr geöffnet. Wir kamen um 22:20 und durften leider nicht mehr auf die Dachterrasse gehen, da gesagt wurde, dass keine neuen Gäste mehr raus dürfen und die, die draußen sind nur bleiben dürfen, bis sie gehen. Ich muss sagen, dass ich darüber leider sehr enttäuscht war, da es mit ein Grund war, warum ich das Hotel gebucht hatte.

Lovely room! Amazing view. Tea, coffee and water provided. Shower as delightful! The Cuban inspired cocktail roofbar was the showstopper. Make sure you check out the speakeasy bar in the basement! There’s also a vintage photobooth on the same floor but beware, pictures take 15-30minites to print. Changing of sheets service is offered however this did not happen despite us asking twice on Friday and on Saturday. All in all, we loved our stay and would recommend the Hoxton!

Lovely hotel and easily walking distance to sites. The Stadpark metro line is a block away and convenient for excursions to Schönbrunn or other locations in the suburbs. Rooms were well appointed and comfortable. Staff is accommodating and friendly. The included breakfast is a full menu (not a buffet), and the Cayo Coco rooftop bar has great views with lite bites as well. The terrace bar and rooftop bar are frequent by locals which is always a good sign.

It’s a very well located, stylish, clean hotel. The pool is a nice touch in the summer but do note that on a hot day it did get quite busy and wasn’t always possible to get a sunbed right away. It’s just a small pool but this does mean how enjoyable it is entirely depends how many other people are using it. One day it was pretty empty and it was lovely. The next day it was full of kids and it was horrible! Haha

Fantastic location, super friendly staff, and the very comfortable room was immaculate. The sink faucet broke and started to flow over. I rant downstairs and told the staff who immediately came with me to the room and call the maintenance man who turned off the water. They moved me to another room quickly. Their fast and professional response was impressive.

The property location and facilities are great, however the hotel lacks 4 star level service. We had to constantly ask for missing glass and water after every day clean up, the heating in the unit is an issue, the water doesnt drain in the shower and we found the room wasn’t properly cleaned.

Duschkopf war total kaputt. Aus der Mutter spritzte fast mehr Wasser als aus dem Duschkopf selber. Wasserdruck entsprechend grottig. Fernseher stürzt dauernd ab. Weder Heizung noch eingehende Anrufe funktionierten. Es gibt keine Minibar. Es sieht sauber aus, aber das Zimmer hat einen Geruch. Bei einem anderen Aufenthalt hatte ich ein Zimmer aus einer niedrigeren Preiskategorie, das war trotzdem besser. Das Restaurant ging anscheinend aus Prinzip nicht an die Roomservice-Telefonnummer, woraufhin mir jedes Mal an der automatisch weitergeleiteten Rezeption genervt mitgeteilt wurde, ich sei an der Rezeption, nicht beim Restaurant. Was kann ich bitte dafür? Dann sollen sie die automatische Weiterleitung vom Restaurant an die Rezeption abstellen. Die Krönung war dann noch, daß die per QR-Code im Zimmer abrufbare Roomservicekarte nicht mehr stimmte. Wirkt einfach unprofessionell. Nach der Erfahrung werde ich nicht wiederkommen, da gibt es deutlich Besseres. Schade.

This is a busy area but very close to the park and public transport. Had Hugo Boss not decided to invade the property with their meeting our stay would have been more enjoyable. The roof deck and the stair well are amazing. This is a hotel which could be in any city. Fun to try once but will not return. Rooms very small.

Ett jättemysigt hotell! Fint rum, skön säng och bra dusch. Rolig inredning både på rummet och på gemensamma ytor på hotellet. Vacker utsikt från takterrassen. Det enda jag saknade var plats för att hänga upp kläder, det fanns liksom ingen garderob. OBS att de reserverar ett belopp om 50 euro per natt på ens kort (hade betalt i förväg), vilket man inte informerats om innan. Kan definitivt tänka mig att bo där igen!

This hotel has a great vibe with its design. I love the building and the decor. The design is a good mix of making it feel warm but not too fussy. The music choice is perfect. The downside is that I don’t think it’s ideal for work trips. The breakfast is an ala carte restaurant so it’s not super fast (not slow either) but some form of buffet or fast ordering would be great when you need to get to meetings etc. The rooms are very nice but there are a few impractical things like there is no wardrobe and no real place to hang your clothes except for open hanging above a coffee station where they would get wet and touch the kettle etc. Very odd design. I would love it for a weekend away with friends when I wasn’t rushing out the door and had no need to have all of my clothes neatly hanging and organised and could have loads of spare time to enjoy a restaurant experience for breakfast etc. Make me sound boring because its fun place but not super efficient. Definitely one for a fun weekend away

Essa é a segunda vez que me hospedo no The Hoxton. Em ambas minhas estadias tive problema com o serviço de quarto. Não entendo com um hotel que tem categoria 4 estrelas não tem um serviço de quarto melhor e mais eficiente. Quando chegamos ao hotel fomos perguntados se queriamos serviço de quarto(organização do quarta e cama). Aceitamos mas como da primeira vez não funciona. Ao sairmos do hotel logo pela manhã passei na recepção e pedi que o quarto fosse arrumado. Depois de passar o dia todo passeando queríamos voltar e descansar. O quarto estava do mesmo jeito que deixamos. Fomos para o bar esperar alguém arrumar para podermos voltar. Pode parecer uma bobagem mas um hotel que tem essa categoria deveria prestar mais atenção. Muitas vezes pequenos detalhes fazem toda diferença. Tirando isso o hotel é confortável e bem charmoso. Os funcionários são jovens e receptivos mas algumas vezes nota-se uma falta de treinamento. O café da manhã é algo um tanto quanto desconfortável. Como hóspede você pode pedir um prato e algo para acompanhar como um Croissant por exemplo. Bebida apenas duas como um café e um suco. Até entendo que com isso não tem um desperdício de alimento. Agora ficamos sem jeito de pedir mais um copo de café ou suco. Da primeira vez o rapaz disse que deveríamos pagar por pedidos extras. Daí penso se isso se aplica em um hotel 4 estrelas.
Essa é a segunda vez que me hospedo no The Hoxton. Em ambas minhas estadias tive problema com o serviço de quarto. Não entendo com um hotel que tem categoria 4 estrelas não tem um serviço de quarto melhor e mais eficiente. Quando chegamos ao hotel fomos perguntados se queriamos serviço de quarto(organização do quarta e cama). Aceitamos mas como da primeira vez não funciona. Ao sairmos do hotel logo pela manhã passei na recepção e pedi que o quarto fosse arrumado. Depois de passar o dia todo passeando queríamos voltar e descansar. O quarto estava do mesmo jeito que deixamos. Fomos para o bar esperar alguém arrumar para podermos voltar. Pode parecer uma bobagem mas um hotel que tem essa categoria deveria prestar mais atenção. Muitas vezes pequenos detalhes fazem toda diferença. Tirando isso o hotel é confortável e bem charmoso. Os funcionários são jovens e receptivos mas algumas vezes nota-se uma falta de treinamento. O café da manhã é algo um tanto quanto desconfortável. Como hóspede você pode pedir um prato e algo para acompanhar como um Croissant por exemplo. Bebida apenas duas como um café e um suco. Até entendo que com isso não tem um desperdício de alimento. Agora ficamos sem jeito de pedir mais um copo de café ou suco. Da primeira vez o rapaz disse que deveríamos pagar por pedidos extras. Daí penso se isso se aplica em um hotel 4 estrelas.

Fantastic location, super friendly staff, and the very comfortable room was immaculate. The sink faucet broke and started to flow over. I rant downstairs and told the staff who immediately came with me to the room and call the maintenance man who turned off the water. They moved me to another room quickly. Their fast and professional response was impressive.

Upon arrival, I was met with a cold reception from the staff. Although the check-in process was quick and I was able to check in earlier than expected, there was poor communication about my room’s readiness. I don't mind waiting when arriving early, but clearer information would have been appreciated. Additionally, the reception staff was often unresponsive to phone calls, which was frustrating. The room was very clean and comfortable and the hotel is in a great location. There are also great facilities (pool, bar, restaurant, terrace etc) but we found the service at breakfast and the bar very slow and difficult, not being able to order certain drinks or at certain times.

A very good hotel fairly close to the city centre. The not so good thing was the lack of wardrobe space - it was a rail with hangers over the fridge and no real shelves, otherwise the room was fine. The Bouvier restaurant was really good for both lunch and breakfast. The best feature was the reception desk, especially Ann. The service we received was first class - friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.

The hotel could definitely improve the cleanliness of both the rooms and the common areas. The bar staff, especially the bartender and the manager, could be more polite. Except for the female staff at the bar, the men were quite rude and disrespectful. Also, even though the hotel claims to be pet friendly, dogs were not allowed in the bar, and this was not mentioned anywhere beforehand. That was especially frustrating, as it’s not something you would expect from a pet friendly hotel. The only positive aspect, in my opinion, was the breakfast, which was good. Syntes egentlig alt var godt. Eneste negative var at de kære medarbejdere til morgenmaden havde alt for travlt. Der manglede personale, fordi de kunne slet ikke følge med. Folk stod i kø for at kunne plads til morgenmad og man fik maden før drikkevarerne. Havde ofte spist alt morgenmaden før vi fik vores drikkevarer. The hotel is very well located just minutes walking from all the Vienna sites and shopping but is in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by other hotels (InterContinental, Ritz Carlton, Marriott, etc.). Recommend booking the larger rooms if possible as even those are quite small. The rooftop bar and restaurant is really nice with great views of Vienna. Overall, the feel is probably a bit too trendy for its own good but the staff was very nice and attentive. A great option for a stay in Vienna at a decent price point.

Very cozy hotel with super nice staffs . Great location within 10 to 15 mins walking distance to St. Stephen’s Cathedral. Also there is a supermarket right behind the hotel . Definitely would love to stay here again when coming to visit Vienna .

The hotel is stunning, really well done in an old restored building. The problem is that this place did not have the vibes of a normal Hoxton at all. The people working here were not great compared to London Holborn or other Hoxton's. The rooftop resto/bar is badly ran, whoever is in charge up there needs to be looked at. The coffee bar in the lobby wasn't open our entire stay which is one of the reason we like a Hoxton and there is no close coffee shop to walk too. They suggested 'dining at the restaurant' ??? I would not rec this Hoxton at all unless you have never been to a well oiled one.

A lovely retro interior style hotel,reflecting a trendy vibe.,The staff were friendly and very helpful. Lovely outdoor seating for breakfast and dining. The roof top bar was fabulous with a spectacular view. The service in the bar was okay. Easy walking distance to the airport train ( 11 mins) U line . Near to stradpark . Sauberes Zimmer und auf Vintage eingerichtetes Hotel in gutem Zustand. Es gibt leider kein Frühstücksbuffett und nur vorgewählte Pakete zu Einzelpreisen. Das ist sehr schade - man muss schon beim Frühstück Kompromisse machen und es wird teurer als in anderen Hotels der gleichen Kategorie.

Overall I expected more for the Hoxton, considering the price, Good location, close to the train station. The bathroom was missing somewhere to hang your towel. I wish the room came with bathrobes and slippers. It was quite small and the hallways a little bit dingy. The laundry service was extremely expensive, but fast turnaround time. The $5 breakfast was not worth it, just juice, yogurt, and an apple. The bartenders in the salon speakeasy were friendly and kind, they made my stay but otherwise I was underwhelmed and stayed at much better hotels in other cities during my trip.

Lovely hotel and easily walking distance to sites. The Stadpark metro line is a block away and convenient for excursions to Schönbrunn or other locations in the suburbs. Rooms were well appointed and comfortable. Staff is accommodating and friendly. The included breakfast is a full menu (not a buffet), and the Cayo Coco rooftop bar has great views with lite bites as well. The terrace bar and rooftop bar are frequent by locals which is always a good sign.

Disappointing experience – style over substance We travelled as a group of four and specifically booked the “Cosy Neighbourhood” rooms after confirming that connecting rooms were an option. Several months before our stay, we contacted the hotel to request connecting rooms and were told the request would be noted. Upon arrival at 10 AM, however, we were told that rooms are allocated on the day, so our request made months in advance apparently made no difference. Very disappointing. There were several other issues. The fire alarm went off one morning, but it could not be heard from one of our rooms. Had we not physically woken our friends, they would not have known there was an alarm. This is simply not acceptable from a safety perspective. Despite the advertised rooftop pool, there were no slippers or bathrobes, meaning you had to walk through the hotel in your bikini. Basic amenities were also missing, including cotton pads, cotton swabs and even a toilet brush. Some staff were friendly, but overall the service felt inattentive and not particularly proactive or solution-oriented. The rooftop bar was especially disappointing: we waited a very long time to order and the service felt unwelcoming. We appreciated the late check-out offered as a gesture. However, overall we were very disappointed and would not recommend this hotel. Beautifully designed and stylish, but in our experience, the service and attention to detail do not live up to the image or the high ratings.
