Inn at Bellefield Residence Inn by Marriott

We had a nice two-night stay on our way to a family event in Massachusetts. Food and drink were excellent. Bar/restaurant area gets very loud on a Friday evening. Free breakfast was great. Room was spacious! Would have been nice to have a pool on hot July days.

Love that you have electric car chargers. Not wild about the every-other-day room freshening. No one told us.

This hotel is well located to local historic sites. The room was spacious and sparkling clean. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Parking was convenient. The bar and tender were great. The concierge gave great alternative day trips because of the closure of the FDR Library and those suggestions were well worth it. Happy to have stayed here.

The only complaint is that one elevator out of two was out of service so the wait was long and since our room was by the stairs we had a lot of stairwell noise.

The overall room design/layout is good although the shower opening lets water onto the bathroom floor causing the bath mat to get soaked. Upon entry, the room (225) smelled of overripe bananas. Apparently the refrigerator had an overripe banana in it. The refrigerator was NOT turned on and was WARM. Also, the room was situated DIRECTLY behind large AC units blocking any view. Requested a new room due to the smell. Keycards provided for RM 223. Refrigerator was working but still DIRECTLY behind AC units which completely blocked any view. Later on we sat at the counter (high chairs) and noticed what looked like chocolate on one of the chair seats. Next, one of the two elevators was out of commission our whole (4 days) stay and for a period of time, an elevator operator was assigned to the remaining elevator due to issues with that one as well. Lobby: the design is impractical for already-checked-in guests. A central fireplace and chairs block the path to the elevators. You interrupt any seated guests if you try to walk straight through and there’s not much room to walk through next to the reservation desk. Otherwise you have to walk around all the chairs/seats towards the bar area. House cleaning: we were not told that house-cleaning is every other day and so were surprised after a long day to find our room not made up. Reservations should have mentioned this at check-in. Towels were replaced BUT, NO Facecloths were provided.

High end property with wonderful breakfast, comfortable rooms, friendly staff. Only thing missing is a pool.

Extremely good price !! Very nice, brand new room.beds comfortable. All the finishing up to date. Felt large and rooms are well laid out. The breakfast that was included was excellent. The restaurant for dinner was a little pricey for the portions but since the room was so cheap, that was fine. We did not need them for our one night stay but they even have laundry facility for the guests to use.

The cute firepit in the lobby made it feel boutiquey. The breakfast was great considering the room rate. There are EV chargers as well!

The bathroom was not clean Even the mirror had smudge on it

Hotel is in a great location for the CIA. Some construction going on outside but nothing intrusive. Rooms were well equipped. To offer a criticism, The breakfast area run out of coffee cups and the tables weren't cleared away. We found a table that had been cleared and there were cup rings on the table. It hadn't been wiped off.

The room was spacious and clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was quite good for a chain hotel. Service was excellent and the location could not be better.

Everything was perfect. Staff were gracious and accommodating. The place was pristine and bed was comfortable. Room was very well designed for function. I didn’t rate breakfast because we went out. Highly recommend

This property is gorgeous! The room was spacious. Cleanliness is a 25 on a scale of 1-10.

Friendly staff, very clean rooms

Room was not made up at 3:30 after being out of room for 9 hours. Told that they usually make up room daily if you stay for at least 3 nights. We stayed for 2. At $400 a night this is ridiculous. The hotel is fabulous and breakfast buffet is definitely impressive. Will stay again only if they guarantee daily freshening of the room,

We were in the area to have lunch at the CIA and this hotel could not have been more convenient. Our studio suite was spacious, had a full kitchen and a large bathroom. The beds were comfortable and the swivel TV made it available in the living room or bedroom. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Inside and outside seating areas were inviting and comfortable. The full breakfast was superior to normal hotel fare. We enjoyed our stay and will surely visit again.

Booked a one-bedroom king suite. It was beautiful and perfect, except for the sofa bed. I slept on it— it was awful. The springs were in my back. I should’ve closed it and slept on the sofa but I didn’t want to wake up my friend. The suite is great if you don’t have to use the sofa bed. The complimentary breakfast was excellent. Staff was helpful and friendly. Great location to visit the FDR home and museum.

Loved this property overall, but the noise from the air conditioning unit did keep us awake.

Warm and welcoming staff, attentive to all guests. The dining area is clean and well-lit. The room was clean and thoughtfully designed. The queen-size bed mattress was too soft, and the pillows were not comfortable. The shower had a unique design that was unfriendly. The hot/cold water controls are on the wall opposite the shower head. This made adjusting the temperature a task. Plus, only half of the stall was enclosed! This design faux pas allowed water to collect where one would exit the stall. All in all, I would recommend this location and would even return. The pluses outnumber the minuses.

Gorgeous scenery, hotel looks to have been a Residence Inn previously so the rooms are spacious (and have those weird showers with only half a glass wall, but that's okay). One of the better free breakfast spreads you'll find anywhere outside a resort. Also extremely close to the CIA (foodies know), lots of historic sites and buildings, and the Hudson River.

Asked for a quiet room, they put us on th side where there was outdoor seating next to the bar/lounge. We were on th 4th floor and could hear the music being piped outside to that seating area. Didn’t turn it off till around 11 - 11:30 pm. Plenty of room and clean, the bed was terrible. One side of the bed was extremely broken down. Had to prompt myself with a pillow so I wouldn’t roll out of bed. The pillows were king size, very heavy and flat.

Super impressed with the property. Highly recommend. Only negative....terrible pillows, soft & hot. Please get firm, cooling pillows

Great hotel! Perfect for classes at CIA! Staff was awesome. Only issue is that the restaurant is completely understaffed.

Room was spacious and clean. Sofa bed for 3rd person wasn’t made. When asked for it at reception they suggested we made it ourselves with sheets in the closet. This is not a youth hostel. When I asked them to do it they rolled their eyes, but did it in the end. At breakfast there wer no knifes, often empty containers, slow to replace

This is a lovely new hotel. The hotel is very clean, suites are spacious and breakfast with lots of options is included . It’s located right across the street from CIA. (We made dinner reservations at CIA weeks in advance. Worth it!) The only negative was the poor attitude of the bartender. My husband stood at the bar trying to get us drinks and was ignored for 5 minutes. (The bar wasn’t that busy). Usually Marriott has friendly employees.

This hotel is brand new, everything is immaculate. The hotel restaurant was a problem for me. I waited 50 minutes for a chicken dish, other people who came in after me were served their food but not me. I had an event to go to so by the time the food came (which I had to complain to get) I couldn't even eat it, I had to go the event without eating. This area is being built up but the restaurant choices are very limited so make reservations before you go and if you only have an hour to eat don't go to the hotel restaurant.

The 7-month old hotel was well designed and appointed, plus the location was fantastic. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Mary gave great restaurant recommendations and was always a pleasure to talk to. Matt the bartender was both talented & friendly. We enjoyed our stay very much!

The Inn is located in Hyde Park and directly across the street from the Culinary Institute of America (CIA). A very large room with a sitting area and full kitchen. The Inn had a very nice complimentary breakfast.

Beautiful hotel, great service. The entrance is directly across from the Culinary Institute of America (CIA). Centrally located between Rhinebeck and Poughkeepsie and only minutes from the historic sites of Hyde Park.

We were visiting the Culinary Institute of America, and this hotel is literally right across the street. It's about a 5 minute drive from the FDR presidential library, which was also cool. The room was big and very nice. More of a suite - kitchen, desk, etc. There was a mini bar with wine and whiskey and chocolate and various food. The breakfast is probably the best hotel breakfast I've had. Great food, lots of it (no lines), etc. The only real issue was transportation. We had taken a train so we had to get ubers to and from places; it took them a while to get to the hotel - there's not a huge uber presence in the area, and it's 5-7 minutes from town, so leave a couple minutes for that. Especially during rush hour; you may have to wait for someone to finish a run then drive up to you. Also, I don't know if they didn't have them or they were just sold out the night we were there, but we would have liked a room with two queen beds, but all they had was one king and a foldout couch.

Stayed at other residence Marriotts in the past this one is lovely. Food is amazing. Unfortunately unless you are there to visit the culinary institute there is nothing else around. Nearest shopping is almost 10mi away in another town

Great breakfast! Convenient to area attractions (easily drivable). Spacious rooms/suites. Seems to be fairly new and part of a larger planned development so future construction may have some impacts view or noise-wise. Very lovely stay.

This hotel was amazing. The lobby is modern and clean. All the staff we encountered were incredibly friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable and spacious. The breakfast buffet had a great selection, and it was kept well stocked. I will definitely return back to this hotel and recommend it to others.

Breakfast was horrible - powered eggs, dry turkey sausage, fried potatoes that tasted like cotton and bakery goods that all looked the same even thought there was a variety of types. The breakfast did not reflect the comfort and elegance of the hotel. a deal breaker.

Brand new hotel, our mini suite was very nice. The only drawback was the food service, despite the Culinary Institute being across the street, the breakfast food was horrible. The dining area and food felt more like a roadside hotel than a higher end property.
