I highly recommend the Blooming Inn! It is a charming escape within walking distance to all shopping and dining in Shelburne Falls. I was especially delighted by the English muffins, jam, and tea.

This is a prime spot in Shelburne Falls. A quiet neighborhood only a short walk from pretty much everything, the Blooming Inn is a gem. The Balcony room was sweet and the overall feel of the inn is a homey. A self-service breakfast area is convenient and quiet. We will book here again when we return to see the progress they are making on the Bridge of Flowers. Because we stayed on a Monday-Tuesday, the inn was quiet and had only a few guests. We slept well and loved the peaceful, leafy, garden-filled neighborhood. The touch-pad entry to the inn and rooms was clever and convenient.

Disappointed full Breakfast not included and should be clarified in description of accommodations. In a town where just about everything closes at 8 pm it also should be noted that there is no television in the Inn.

The Blooming Inn was great. Very clean. Great old house. Loved the motion sensor lights when you walk in later at night. Also the charging cords for phones and tablets is a nice touch. Great toilet paper!!!

This was my first stay at Blooming Inn but hopefully not the last. The owner allows for keyless entry and self checkin so it is important to check your email for instructions. This is a historic building and the decor is a step back in time. However, plenty of great internet access, A/C and attention is paid to what the guests may need. I travel for business and this is a great alternative to a hotel. Hoping to return! Thank you

The room was clean and cozy. Parking was easy, convenient and available, which is always nice. We enjoyed the hot chocolate on a chilly night, and the hosts were friendly and helpful.

The room was great, but the bathroom floor was all sticky. That's easily fixable with better cleaning and better cleaning supplies. I had to wash my slippers when I returned home before I'd use them in our house.

I was absolutely pleased with my stay. The hotel was very cozy and homely, and the room was wonderfully well-equipped. Besides breakfast, they also had a few tasty treats like bread and jam available at any time, which was a lovely touch. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the access was perfectly arranged with clear communication. All in all, it was a really successful and very comfortable stay at a charming hotel.

A two-day stay turned into four in two different rooms. Everything was immaculate, cozy, and the two times I needed to communicate with Richard he responded immediately and helped. I'd definitely recommend the Blooming Inn to others and stay again. NO comparison to a hotel - The Blooming Inn wins hands down.

My stay at the Blooming Inn was comfortable and peaceful. The location is very quiet. Being an old building, sound travels throughout the house, so other guests can be heard talking and walking, but all present at the time of my stay were respectful. It is a very charming old building, with some thoughtful updates where it matters. The electronic door locks at exterior and room doors is a nice touch for a contactless experience. There was a nice selection of teas and coffees available, and a collection of dishes and utensils on a table in the guest dining & refreshment area. The old radiator heat system was adequate, but a portable heater was provided for guest comfort. Despite the charm, the building shows its age, and there are areas where years of dust have become part of the decoration. Overall, I would recommend this for those not looking to be waited on . . . and not overly attached to the latest and greatest.

This property has a lot of Victorian charm. Luckily it was not hot on the night we spent there because the room air conditioner, like all of them, was noisy. And the ceiling fan was squeaky. FYI, if you need to use the bathroom in the night you need to go across the hall and use a key to unlock the door.

We had a wonderful stay. Good way to escape the world of technology. No TV or phones. There is WiFi so you can connect with the world but you don't have to. The whole Inn is charming. Bathroom is down the hall but it's your private bathroom. Furniture is old-style or antiques. Very quaint and beautiful. Spotlessly clean! I would recommend bringing cards or games which we usually travel with but failed to this time. We went to bed early and read but did look on the main floor for games. Bridge of Flowers, bowling alley, museums closeby, great places to eat. Breakfast at Baked, just minutes away. Truly wonderful food and friendly staff. Thank you for our great stay!

We had been on the road for a few days, not checking email, so were surprised when we arrived and found ourselves a locked house with no one home. Small sign told us instructions were on email, but we had to walk downtown to a coffee shop to get wifi, then back to house. Room on first floor right off living room and dining room, could hear people there while trying to get to sleep. Room so small we couldn't find space to put stuff. Never saw a person, but coffee set-up was always full and ample, with small fridge for all to use. House was clean, but lots of "stuff" all over like an old grandma's house, which didn't charm us. Overall, adequate, close to downtown for walking, great neighborhood, good parking.

Loved the charm of this property. Stayed in two different rooms over 4 nights and both were perfect. Beds are very comfortable and the area is absolutely beautiful. Staff is very friendly. Looking forward to returning in the spring.

This is a prime spot in Shelburne Falls. A quiet neighborhood only a short walk from pretty much everything, the Blooming Inn is a gem. The Balcony room was sweet and the overall feel of the inn is a homey. A self-service breakfast area is convenient and quiet. We will book here again when we return to see the progress they are making on the Bridge of Flowers. Because we stayed on a Monday-Tuesday, the inn was quiet and had only a few guests. We slept well and loved the peaceful, leafy, garden-filled neighborhood. The touch-pad entry to the inn and rooms was clever and convenient.

A quick overnight at Blooming Inn for us. It was perfect for what we needed. We walked to everything nearby, parking was easy, bed was comfortable, coffee/tea and quick breakfast grabs availability, and easy check in/out.

Disappointed full Breakfast not included and should be clarified in description of accommodations. In a town where just about everything closes at 8 pm it also should be noted that there is no television in the Inn.

Our party was divided, though, if no TV is a good or bad thing. (While the old furniture in the common rooms is nice to look at, people with certain allergies might feel uncomfortable and show symptoms, esp. when the AC/fan is going.)

The owners of the Blooming Inn were very nice. The house is a lovely Victorian home in great condition. The "Rose Room" was a good size room and very clean with a comfortable mattress. A basic continental breakfast is provided in the morning. It was a wonderful experience and we would definitely stay there again.

Quaint and charming stay in a Victorian Inn on a residential street. The common room, hot beverages, snacks, and beautiful furnishings made the stay memorable. Richard was accommodating when I made an error in my booking. Would definitely return!

The Blooming Inn was like a walk back in time. Victorian history with decor to match. But the dining area was fully equipped with coffe, tea and accoutrements. It was a nice stay albeit quick for us. Its in a very nice area, quiet surrounded by other victorian like homes. The neighboring town is also adorable.

Blooming Inn describes itself as "Victorian' and "quaint" . After spending last weekend there my description would be a perfect setting for a horror movie. The atmosphere is dark, depressing, and scary. I never saw a host, hostess, or anyone connected to the management of the house. When i arrived Friday half of the lamps in my room were umplugged and my daughter and granddaughter had to crawl around to plug them in. I turned on the window AC and it was blocked by a large stuffed chair, which I was forced to move.There are 3 rooms for guests/ Each has a detached designated bathroom across the hall. There is NO Kleenex in the bathroom.There is no kitchen available for guests. The dining room is the eating area. There is a half empty jar of crystalized honey(yuck!) on a tablle with a note to enjoy a toasted English muffin. I tried to slice one in two but it was so old and stale it was impossible to do.There was NO microwave anywhere! There are cereal bowls and silverware and milk in the refrigerator but no cereal - only hard muffins for breakfast. There is no TV in the house. The parlor would have been a perfect place for one. This place desperately needs some modern conveniences = a microwave, a TV, and a box of Kleenex!

I enjoyed my stay at Blooming Inn and would book again if I am in the area. The location is very convenient to all the great shops and restaurants in town. The balcony room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The balcony was a great place to read and relax.
