I really enjoyed my stay here!! The celebrity theme in the hotel is fun & the bar is open 24 hours with a pool table. There's also a garden and Bournemouth Pier is very close. Staff were lovely. Being woken up by room service is something all hotels do and it got me up to enjoy my holiday.

Good hotel, no complaints. It was just very noisy next to my room, as the walls are thin. £10 a day overnight parking is expensive, so this needs to be factored in should you be staying a few days.

A bit quirky, but very clean! Comfy bed, bathroom was immaculate and plenty of hot water. Glad I had a shady room as no air conditioning, there was a huge fan was in the wardrobe. Parking situation is tight, I was pleased I paid to park opposite the hotel.

All the bedrooms have photos and a leaflet on the allocated celebrity which is a nice touch and there are many more pictures throughout the hotel. Staff are friendly, bar open 24hrs, parking on site all in all a good place

Stayed here for 3 days. The staff were amazing they do everything nothing is too much trouble for them. Bar open 24/7. There is parking which is great. Basic English breakfast. Rooms were ok shower was hot straight away. No complaints

Nothing to like except the veiw. I'm afraid our stay was not a very good one when we arrived there was no one to great us check in was at 3 we got there around 4 only 1 of our 4 rooms was ready it wasn't until 6pm we got into the rest of the rooms wich total put our stay in disarray.the first double was dirty with poo in the toilet and the toilet seat was dirty it hadn't been cleaned the twin room had used soad and wipes in the shower and no towels and smelt of urine the 2nd double room had a dirty toilet brocken toilet seat no toilet paper no towels the single room wasn't available so aventuly was given a second twin room the bathroom hadn't been cleaned and no towels.so am sorry to say our trip was ruined we were down for a funeral so this just made it so much harder if im honest I think a pashel refund should be given.😞😞

I have no idea how this place has 4+ star reviews. Staff were pleasant on arrival. Gave us a post it note on key card with our room number (not good enough). Room was okay but carpets were absolutely filthy. Facilities were debatable. Walked into restaurant for breakfast and all tables had left over dishes and had not been cleaned nor did the staff offer to clean one for us so we could sit down. No water out. No pastries etc. Glasses and plates were not clean. Saw a guy in kitchen with no top on. Overall needs a revamp and a deep clean everywhere. The whole place smelt like stale smoke. Definitely not like the pictures.

Great location, its just tired now, such a shame as it could be such a lovely place. It needs a bit of TLC and care. Room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Shame the tea bags in the room are not wrapped, just don't know how long they have sat there. Breakfast was adequate, very quiet at the time I stayed, should think about cooking little and often rather than putting all the cooked food out 1st thing and leaving it out all morning. Consider a smaller bottles of ketchup, the large bottle was disgusting sticky and dirty. Tongs for the bread would be nice, rather than everyone riffling though the bread bag for what they wanted. At least sort out the blinds, just need adjusting, give the tables a good clean too, it's all just a bit dirty and un-loved. The outside space need a bit of love too, at least stand the Storm Troupers up?

Location to the beach was excellent. Staff were slow and uninterested. Breakfast buffet ran out and took ages to refill. Room was not clean - carpet had fluff and dirt. Walls were marked and shabby.

We saw a cockroach in the hallway, and another one in the room. The glasses for the bar are kept in an asda basket which was mouldy on the bottom, so putting the clean glasses in it was completely pointless and im not sure why theyre doing it. The sofas in the bar were DISGUSTING. Supposed to be red but were basically black at this point. The couch in our room was extremely stained and torn in areas. If you go out past midnight, they lock the doors which i fully understand, but then the desk person puts headphones in so you spend 30mins ringing the doorbell and hammering on the door befoe they realise and let you in. The beds are extremely hard and the pillows are like stones. The pillows are so hard i actually had to go to b&m to get myself a new one as that one gave me a really bad headache. I would never stay here again. I wish id taken more pictures but at the time i was too freaked out by it too even consider it.

I stay in Bournemouth regularly but this was my first time at Hotel Celebrity. The reception staff were polite and check-in and check-out were easy. The hotel is clean and well presented. The room I stayed in was well presented and had everything I needed for an overnight stay. I would book this hotel again over some of the local competitors in the same price range.

We stayed 1 night over a bank holiday weekend at Hotel Celebrity. The price for the room was reasonable considering it was a bank holiday. Also check in was fast. Staff on reception was pleasant. This particular weekend the weather was spectacular and was very hot, this unfortunately transferred to the room, which was unbearable when we first entered. There was a fan in the room, which unfortunately did little to cool us down. The bed was comfortable and the tv was good. Unfortunately, the hotel is old and it looks and feels it on the inside and within the rooms. Rooms are in desperate need of some money being spent on them. Getting rid of old out of date furniture and putting in new carpets and bathroom suit. The water pressure was not very good either which made for a mediocre shower. Also the room had a bath which I felt was unnecessary and would have made more sense to put in a shower, also giving more room in the bathroom. It’s a shame that so many hotels in Bournemouth are in desperate need of updating.

We parked round the back, liked very messy upon arrival wouldn’t take long to tidy up! Hotel is dated and the Celebes could do with updating, communal areas nice, room size good but needs smartening up, bed comfy though, slept well. Overall thought it was very quirky hotel and suite liked it

Great value conisdering location and school holidays. Room was very clean. Decor is dated but the celebrity novelty is entertaining and sets it apart from traditional hotels. Staff interaction was minimal but informative and polite at check in, check out times. In the communal areas, there was a pizza box left out for quite some time across the day. Our room did have a bleach bottle left in it from housekeeping but we returned it to the desk and they were very apologetic.

Photos of the room are completely different than what is shown on the websites. The hotel is a very old property. Being listed as standard double room, there was no sitting arrangement. Room was clean but very outdated. Creaking floors throughout. Uncomfortable old mattress and pillows. Couldn't sleep at all as no aircon in the hotel but a small table fan provided in 28 degree heat which served no purpose. We were asked to leave the windows open for comfort but with the bar open 24 hours, guests stayed seated outside until very late hours making it very difficult to fall asleep. We understand people are on vacation but everyone deserves a good nights sleep when you have paid enough for it. It was very loud and noisy until very late. Hotel staff should make some effort to tell guests using outside bar space to be considerate about other people staying in the hotel. Breakfast was ok. Ample parking available. Location of the hotel was great.

I arrived at the hotel around 10 o’clock at night, I went to the reception for checking in The person was in the reception just ask my name and pass me the key. He didn’t tell me which floor which room and where I have to go. I was walking around to find my room. It was very poor service. and the room shower was very bad

He didn’t tell me which floor which room and where I have to go. I was walking around to find my room. It was very poor service. and the room shower was very bad

Great value for money close to pier and station. Ten minutes from station, fifteen to the pier. Friendly and helpful staff. Hotel needs some TLC but is clean and well-equipped.

Very pleasant stay in a superior room The bed was massive! Staff all friendly and efficient, and breakfast was good. Excellent value for a budget stay as a base for exploring the surrounding area.

The stay was a good break and the hotel staff were amazing. Could not fault customer service, despite a few guests having no respect for other guests.The staff dealt with the issue very well .

We saw a cockroach in the hallway, and another one in the room. The glasses for the bar are kept in an asda basket which was mouldy on the bottom, so putting the clean glasses in it was completely pointless and im not sure why theyre doing it. The sofas in the bar were DISGUSTING. Supposed to be red but were basically black at this point. The couch in our room was extremely stained and torn in areas. If you go out past midnight, they lock the doors which i fully understand, but then the desk person puts headphones in so you spend 30mins ringing the doorbell and hammering on the door befoe they realise and let you in. The beds are extremely hard and the pillows are like stones. The pillows are so hard i actually had to go to b&m to get myself a new one as that one gave me a really bad headache. I would never stay here again. I wish id taken more pictures but at the time i was too freaked out by it too even consider it.

I stay in Bournemouth regularly but this was my first time at Hotel Celebrity. The reception staff were polite and check-in and check-out were easy. The hotel is clean and well presented. The room I stayed in was well presented and had everything I needed for an overnight stay. I would book this hotel again over some of the local competitors in the same price range.

A bit quirky, but very clean! Comfy bed, bathroom was immaculate and plenty of hot water. Glad I had a shady room as no air conditioning, there was a huge fan was in the wardrobe. Parking situation is tight, I was pleased I paid to park opposite the hotel.

The hotel and room were clean, comfortable and tidy, although could do with updating. Excellent theme running throughout of different rooms having different celebrities names. 6-7min to Bournemouth beach. £10 a night parking, not too bad although i dont think you should have to pay for parking if you are staying in a hotel.

This is a very tired hotel in dire need of some tlc. The celebrity reference is tacky to say the least. Over a 3 night stay we saw a grand total of 3 members of staff. The 'welcoming' bar was nothing more than a community centre hall with no one to serve you. Don't bother with the buffet breakfast. It consisted of 3 choices of cereal, the cheapest bread money can buy for toast and the cooked items were cold. It would maybe be an idea to actually turn the hot plate on. If you want eggs it's fried or nothing. As usual, no staff were available to inform when things needed topping up and the dining room was dark and dingy. Overall we got what we paid for. If you want a cheap break by all means give it a try but don't expect much. It was however pretty clean with housekeeping every other day which many hotels don't offer at all anymore

Location to the beach was excellent. Staff were slow and uninterested. Breakfast buffet ran out and took ages to refill. Room was not clean - carpet had fluff and dirt. Walls were marked and shabby.

La caratteristica dell’hotel è di avere le camere dedicate a personaggi dello spettacolo. Si trova in ottima posizione a pochi minuti dalle spiagge e dalle vie con ristoranti e negozi. Anche il Pier è a pochi minuti. Le camere sono un po’ datate ma comode e pulite. Il personale è gentile e disponibile. Un altro vantaggio è il parcheggio in loco

I stayed in the ‘David Beckham and Models Suite’ (single room) Expectations must be tempered by the relatively low prices. It is unfortunate that on one side is an asylum hotel and on the other a hotel that was burnt down and not been rebuilt yet. Nevertheless I would stay here again if the price was sufficiently low enough to reflect all of the above

Spacious and clean room. Staff was friendly but couldn't see anyone to check out . Breakfast was ok. The location is close to beautiful beach and walking distance from town centre. Good experience overall, will go back.

The room was dated and could have do with an upgrade, the pillows were lumpy and lights shone through the curtains, the door and the en-suite, I paid extra for breakfast and it was cold and a poor choice, the coffee was cheap and not drinkable, I saw no staff other than at check in I feel the fact they charge for parking when they have a car park and charge an excessive price feel it was not value for money, I would not recommend anyone staying there if they want a good nights sleep it was noisy and I had people knocking on the door in the early hours.
