In the process of doing some renovations (noted on the website)-we stayed one night & didn’t notice any noise. Staff was friendly; check in was very easy & fast. Appreciated use of free washer & dryer-was located in an area that would be uncomfortable to use after dark however. Overall was fairly basic but reasonable value for the money.

I was surprised to find this gem hidden in plain sight, easy check-in, friendly and helpful staff, internal areas were immaculate, the room was presented extremely well, clean, functional, quiet, plenty of off-street parking, tidy functional grounds, easy walk to numerous food vendors and local hotel, unfortunately no onsite dining (having a reno apparently), I'll be back as its great value, well done Team.

This is a local establishment convenient to airport. Close to river trail and nice restaurants; as well as quaint shops and grocery stores. The building is aged, though maintained well. The kitchenette is a nice surprise. The downside is having to pay for cab to get here and back to airport since we have large luggage. Bus would be an option if we travelled light. They also let us store the luggage while we explored the area after check out. Pool is small, and the laundry machine did not work.

Lift was not working. No dining facilities, dining room destroyed in Cyclone in January? Still not repaired. I thought airport international hotel would be in close proximity to the airport, not a 10 minute $40 cab away. Staff however, were excellent, over and above. Also, annoyed at constant emails to complete check-in procedure days before I was even in the state!

Stayed on the second floor in a great room with lovely high ceilings. Comfortable bed. Lovely leafy outlook through the window. The only thing that stopped this from being a 5 star review was the heavily mould stained shower which was disappointing. The only way to fix would be to regrout given the age of the bathroom, but I would recommend the hotel to do this as it would really improve the room for travellers who want a nice hot shower and a comfy bed (really that’s ALL that people want from an airport hotel)

The room was clean, the issue was that the drains from the shower / bathroom area produced a funky smell. Not putrid but enough that I always kept the bathroom door closed, the and ran the show for 30 seconds when I got back to the room.

We choose this place on its proximity to the airport as we had an early morning flight. The lady at the desk was lovely and helpful. The room was clean at a glance, but closer inspection revealed the window sills were thick with dust, cobwebs and dead bugs. Many other surfaces such as skirtings and the toilet roll holder very dusty too, thankfully the shower was nice and clean. Definitely overdue for a spring clean in between the usual room turnover!

The carpet in my room was wet in 1 area, looks like someone tried to clean it prior to our arrival as there was a stain on it. Was advised by staff that the room was down for maintenance for some days prior so obviously management didn’t inspect the room properly before they reinstated it.

So tricky to address this stay. Reception was unfortunately out to lunch for another half hour when I arrived. I was able to sit in air conditioned comfort but would have been tricky if a group had done so. The room (66) was broken nearly everywhere you looked. Plantation shutters broken (no privacy or other curtains there), dust all over them. Massive plaster cracks in the ceiling and corners. HUGE cracks. Bathroom tiles not sealed at mirror - in fact a spacer is still in there! lol. But here's the thing. That bed is one of the most comfy I've ever slept in and when I was a bit mopey about heat and humidity the aircon was a blessing. The maintenance chainsaw waking me each day plus the fact it was too easy to hear other guests noise means I wont stay there again but I will always remember those sleeps as some of the best of my life.

Remember what travelling was like in the '90s? Lots of space, a kitchenette with a microwave, toaster and a kettle, your own bathroom, a carpark and staff who are genuinely interested in you. Well, that's what this motel is like. Admittedly, its decor has probably not had a facelift since the 90s too, but I really liked the spacious room, amenities and friendly staff - beats an overpriced, tiny Air BnB. The area around the hotel is also quite nice.

Remember what travelling was like in the '90s? Lots of space, a kitchenette with a microwave, toaster and a kettle, your own bathroom, a carpark and staff who are genuinely interested in you. Well, that's what this motel is like. Good for the price. Easy parking, clean, large rooms. Downside was the aircon was so loud I couldn't sleep. Once I turned it off it became quite hot, may be an issue in summer but hopefully just an issue isolated to my room

The room was spacious and very clean. It would be great for a family on an overnight stay before heading to the airport as it had a kitchenette too. The shower lacked pressure, but all in all, it was in a good position, close to the airport, and a clean room with parking included for the cost of the stay. Well done folks.

Being in a room facing the main road on a Friday night was quite loud. Even with windows shut it sounded like a drag strip, which wasn't ideal when needing to rest to get to airport early. Not at fault of owners and property was very clean. Would stay here again but request a room closer to their carpark.

Great little property near the airport and about 5 min walk from the local pub and eateries along the waterfront. Only disappointed about the wifi at the property, there are multiple ones to connect to but unfortunately none have strong access and constantly dropped out. I imagine this is the telco’s fault as there was little phone service at the property as well, hopefully it gets upgraded! I will stay again, staff were lovely and the cleaning staff always greeting you with a smile on their faces!

The room was nice enough but the bathroom had very dim lighting. The worst thing about this is that the deposit held during check in was not released at so almost a month now and there is still a pending transaction on my card. The direct contact number is near impossible to et through so I ended up wasting a lot of time chasing them up to release the deposit. The hassle of doing this makes it a very poor choice

This hotel is ridiculous. They allow to be discovered in the PAY AT HOTEL category in the search bar but then as soon as booked started harassing me for full payment. Via email and even missed calls!!! Before the FREE CANCELLATION period even passed. When I called to check other details about this the only response was one that was both rude and dismissive. Citing that their own subset of rules superceded the info displayed on the hotels app. Completely missing my point. I even explained that this added a layer of stress and pressure that was utterly unnecessary while travelling.

Reception is non existent. Showed up to check in at 1230 and no one at reception and a note saying check in after 2pm. Returned at 430pm and again no reception and locked out of the hotel now… telephone outside the door does not work. 2 other check ins showed up also. Together we got ahold of someone who directed us to envelopes in a safe outside which contained our keys for entry. It was a very bizarre check in process. The unit itself was clean and cozy

The service was very friendly and nothing was too much to keep us happy. They organised a downstairs appartment for us because my husband can't walk stairs but I forgot to mention it when booking. We were not charged any extra for that. Our stay was for only 1 night but it was very comfortable.

The property itself and the rooms are only average and just ok for the price. The lack of a microwave any where on the property for guest use is a huge negative. Also, accessibility is a major problem. There's a lift but you need to go up or down two steps to use it! The worst thing about staying here is the lack of staff on-site and checking in after hours. Even on my third stay it was impossible to contact any one to arrange a late check-in. When we finally arrived after travelling all day I was stuck on a special phone near the door in the freezing cold yelling out my Visa numbers to some hard of hearing, random call centre person for an outrageous bond (still not returned) - even though I had paid well in advance and was a returning customer. Anyone walking past or in the carpark could of heard me. Very unsafe. There was one car park left, the furthest from the door of course, so trudging back and forth to do this, then accessing keys from a safe to open the foyer doors then stairs to a dodgy lift and then different keys to a very smelly room was just too much at that time of night. We won't be back unless there's no other option. The Brisbane motel market just has too many other options at this price point to be treated so impersonally.

This is a local establishment convenient to airport. Close to river trail and nice restaurants; as well as quaint shops and grocery stores. The building is aged, though maintained well. The kitchenette is a nice surprise. The downside is having to pay for cab to get here and back to airport since we have large luggage. Bus would be an option if we travelled light. They also let us store the luggage while we explored the area after check out. Pool is small, and the laundry machine did not work.

Close to Brisbane airport, large room, biscuits & hot chocolate provided along with tea & coffee, milk and water. Walking distance to loads of excellent restaurants & a Foodary across the road. We had a room that faced the road so a little noisy at times, I wear ear plugs so not an issue. The lift was not working due to flooding, but it did not worry us or our travel party too much but may be difficult for elderly people or those with mobility issues. I’m sure it will be fixed soon.

People were excellent - we were early and our room was not ready, so they took our bags (5 very heavy) and put them in the room for us while we went and found a lunch nearby. At about 5pm we walked to the wharf area nearby and had a great dinner. A bit of a walk for near 80-year-olds but not bad. Great place

Property was close to International Cruise Terminal. We were able to purchase lunch at the Service Station over the road and walk to the Hamilton Hotel for dinner at night. Taxi was very efficient the next morning

I was surprised to find this gem hidden in plain sight, easy check-in, friendly and helpful staff, internal areas were immaculate, the room was presented extremely well, clean, functional, quiet, plenty of off-street parking, tidy functional grounds, easy walk to numerous food vendors and local hotel, unfortunately no onsite dining (having a reno apparently), I'll be back as its great value, well done Team.

Lift was not working. No dining facilities, dining room destroyed in Cyclone in January? Still not repaired. I thought airport international hotel would be in close proximity to the airport, not a 10 minute $40 cab away. Staff however, were excellent, over and above. Also, annoyed at constant emails to complete check-in procedure days before I was even in the state!

Code didn't work in the after hours safe, finally got a key 1 hr later Blackout blinds didn't even cover the entire window size No toilet roll holder, loose rolls on the vanity that were difficult to reach Property needs major renovations I thought I would give it a try but will pay the extra for the usual hotels I stay at just down the road Was pretty disappointed

The checkin was very disappointing. I was advised that reception will close at 7 PM. I arrived well in advance of 7 Pm but the reception was closed. I called the after hour number on the the entrance and was advised that the did not have my pre check in info. My colleague had provided all the requested info earlier on the day but the operator claimed she had not received it and was not concerned if it was sent, what mattered to her was that she did not have it. I provided my information on the phone but she continued to argue that it should be sent on line and sent me a link to upload my info. This was done but the info for some reason did not arrive as she claimed. Another person arrived and was also treated with contempt because she could not understand him due to his accent. I could and I translated after that she gave him code for the safe. The other guest picked up his envelope and at my request picked up my envelope aswell. I was at that stage ready to go to another hotel but the arrival of the other guest allowed me to claim my key envelope from the safe.this was extremely inconvenient and has led me to request my colleagues not to use your hotel. Best regards
