The bathrooms (2 stalls only for each sex) and the only shower in my area of the building was all gender and both were down a very long, windy set of corridors. NO cleaning facilities in the dorm room itself, not even a sink. Just 10 bunk beds lined up. My section of the hostel housed about 60 people. Both the limited bathrooms and the single shower were not even remotely acceptable for 60 people. I can't believe that these very limited personal cleaning facilities were acceptable under Berlin's Housing Codes. Great location, easily reachable by public transportation, but definitely noisy as there were places just outside open for 23 hours a day. The Staff was wonderful and tried to be helpful - but there were definitely limits. Would NOT recommend and would NOT stay there again. I was only there for one night (less than 15 hours) and would have moved if I were staying longer.
