We did not stay for the amenities so if you are going for the river it may be more acceptable. The pros: The room itself was clean, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. You could control the AC which is great but it was very loud. The Cons: communication was a problem. The outside is run down and pretty dirty. Although you could close the shades and blinds if someone wanted to look into the room they sure could. Also it was pretty bright in the room since the door window light shines right into the room. The deal breaker we didn’t have hot water. I did let them know but the response was kinda weird. They seemed annoyed and maybe they didn’t believe me. I’m like it’s too late for me but maybe the next people would like a hot shower. Anyway we wouldn’t stay again.

No staff present at location. Room door code is given via email/text, which can be difficult due to very spotty cellular & internet connectivity in the area (not the hotel’s fault). Room was clean, but the air conditioner was filthy with mold inside. This should have been checked long ago as part of routine maintenance. Took the front cover off & the filter out ourselves and spent a hour cleaning the coils that were filthy. No response when management was texted about the situation. This remote type of management is not conducive to customer service. Room is not cleaned daily by maid service. Beyond that, the room was clean & satisfactory.

The rooms are very clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable. Self check-in was very easy and our questions were answered fairly quickly just by calling the number that was given. There is a kayak rental place that’s right there, which is a nice touch. My only complaint was that our bottom floor room was musty smelling, so if we were to stay again we’d request one on the top floor. Also, if you have mobility issues you will need to go down a flight of stairs if you reserve a 1st floor room.

It is a lovely spot on the river and my room was extremely clean. I enjoyed being there. I would’ve given 5 stars if there had been connection with internet. Even with downloading WiFi info, I had zip connection. Otherwise I was a happy camper.

It's rustic but really fun. Cool location not far from the OG Woodstock site!
