Property ideal for visiting Woodstock town - good outdoor space. Everything we needed for a long weekend.

Lovely stay. Absolutely loved the courtyard and the hot tub! Looking forward to coming back.

Nicks Nook was just as the pictures. Great space with a really, really comfortable bed. The pillows and the bedding were also great. The outdoor space is relaxing for morning coffee and I enjoyed the hot tub in the evening. The I pad is a nice touch to check out places to eat and info on what is open or not on a Monday and Tuesday. The turntable with albums was fun. I did have a question which was promptly answered. If you are looking for a peaceful stay this is the place. My only complaint to a peaceful getaway was the room was not ready on time. I did arrive 20 min early knowing that I would have to wait until 3 to get in. I spoke to Chris who was cleaning the room and he said he should be done in about 20 min. It was a total of 45 min. The room was not ready until 3:25. I would have been fine with walking around town and coming back but since I have a leg brace and could`nt walk. I really wanted to just get settled in at the check in time stated so I could check on a place to drive to get some dinner. A minor inconvenience which they did apologize for but that should not happen when you do a long drive and arrive to check in at stated time because you want to start to relax as soon as you arrive. That was my only complaint because the wait sitting outside for an extra 25 min did not start my peaceful getaway off on a good note. The place is truly amazing, relaxing and totally chill once you are in. I would highly recommend it and will definitely return.

We had a wonderful stay at The Herwood Inn celebrating our brother's birthday. They found out it was his birthday and hung up a birthday banner in his room and some beer to celebrate. It was such a thoughtful touch and he appreciated the thoughtfulness. The place itself was clean and had everything we needed. We loved the convenience of the location and being able to have a small kitchenette with all the utensils should you want to cook something. The kids loved the hot tub and fire pit which they used every night. It was exactly the relaxing family getaway we were looking for!

The hot tub was, by far, one of the nicest we have had at an inn. The cedar smelled delicious and was perfect after a long day of skiing.

Everything about our stay was amazing. Our room Nick’s Nook was adorable and had great amenities and a cool vibe. We did not use the back space (pergola and hot tub) but everything looked so nice and relaxing! Thank you!!!

We loved our stay at the Herwood Inn. I would highly recommend. There were times we wished there was an age requirement only when kids were running around in the shared space throwing balls around.

The suite was very nice. However, the hot tub did not work.

We have stayed at the Herwood inn before and love coming back here from year to year. The apartment was cozy, with unique boho decor and personal touches to make your stay feel like home. Its only a short walk a way from the main street, which is an added plus. They also had a outdoor hot tub which we really enjoyed. I would highly recommend booking for your next visit whether its family trip or a couples getaway.

Would highly recommend this place, lovely rooms and a short walk to town. I would ask the cleaners to pay more attention though, the cabinets were dirty and there were stuff in the dishwasher from previous guests.

Lovely property. Clean, well appointed, cozy space, Nick’s Nook. Had a couple glitches but Adam took care of it immediately! Would definitely come back.

Communication with host was very good, and accessing the property was easy. The location was also very good with shops and restaurants within walking distance. Pets a welcomed with no extra fees. Area rugs are worn and stained - should be replaced. Bathroom is very cramped.

Dust on basically every surface, and the fridge makes a loud buzzing noise. Road noise is really loud and kept us up all night. Otherwise the vibe was great, location perfect, decor was nice, great amenities in the kitchenette. Would not return on account of the cleanliness and loud road noise though.

Everything was great. The room was so cute and comfy. Very modern and perfectly laid out. We had problems with the TV, but the owner was readily available to help us. Close to town. I would say this is definitely a 10!

Nick's Nook was an adorable studio to stay in during our time in Woodstock, NY. My only issue was the bathroom. The water pressure is low, and - the toilet, sink, and shower are joined. It would have been greet if there was a piece of glass separating the battery from the sink and toilet. Outside of that, I highly recommend staying here. I can't speak for the other 3 suites on sight.

Adam was super responsive with lots of great suggestions based on our preferences. He was friendly and personable, and even shared a photo of his new baby!

What a great concept and hotel! Everything is so well thought out, the rooms are clean and comfortable and just adorable. When we had a question, the owner called us immediately and spent 15 minutes sharing his recommendations for the area and addressed our question fully and satisfactorily. I’m definitely coming back!!

The good thing was that there was a local vibe in the property and it was very conveniently located on Tinker Street. I did not like it was self service kind of apartment not like a hotel room with services.

Herwood provided everything you would need, plus extras. I highly recommend to anyone whose looking for a place to stay in Woodstock. Centrally located and walkable to all the village has to offer.

My husband and I enjoyed a relaxing weekend in Woodstock at the Herwood. Our room and the amenities were exactly as pictured and described online. We loved the location close to the downtown and surrounding areas such as Phonecia and Kingston. We hope to be back again to experience Herwood in another season!
