Great spot in central Auckland. Lovely view. Lovely modern room. Glass bathroom/shower was a novelty. Breakfast was good.

I noticed from the other reviews that our experiences were unfortunately quite similar: 1) When we first arrived to our room, there was a wet and dirty towel dumped in the corner of the bathroom. We just removed it, felt like it is waste of time to complain about it. However, it left us thinking that is the room properly cleaned? 2) We needed to chase the cleaners who just didn't do their job. When we went out there was a cleaner guy who asked if we wanted to get our room cleaned, we said yes please. Later when we came back the room was not cleaned, only the bed was made but all our rubbish were still there and the bathroom was not cleaned. 3) On our second morning in the breakfast we needed to clean up a table to be able to eat there. All those three inconveniences were similar to what I read from other reviews. Seems like the hotel procedure is to neglect cleaning in general. There was also fire alarm ringing twice. The second time was at 11pm in the evening which is quite late. So I would advice the others: stay somewhere else. This was not good value for money and I would like the hotel to contact me and negotiate of the possible refunds. If I have to add something positive, the location was good.

The service in this hotel was terrible. Waited in line to check in and when it was my turn they told me they were only doing check outs. Waited for at least half an hour before being served. Stayed three nights. Had to chase up house keeping twice on second day to clean room. Finally got cleaned around 6pm. Again, had to chase up house keeping twice on the next day for the promise room would be cleaned by 8pm. Wasn’t done so had to get clean towels, coffee etc myself from reception. Staff have a don’t care attitude. Repeatedly heard staff tell customers there was no room to store their luggage. Only allowed one room key as they don’t have enough keys. Asked for a map of area when I finally got to check in, only to be told they have run out of maps. Would never stay at this hotel again and would advise others not to as well!
