The hotel was quiet and in a residential neighborhood but 10 min walk to metro. Room was small but very comfortable. The rooftop patio was beautiful. Breakfast was good. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful.

Hotellet ligger i ett lugnt område med härlig trädgård och staket runt hela, parkering på gården mot en okay kostnad och 24 timmar service. Otroligt trevlig personal och härliga rum med AC som fungerar perfekt! Vi kommer tillbaka!

Fantastic stay at the Hotel Delle Civette. Staff were professional, polite, helpful and friendly. Roof terrace is fantastic for relaxed evenings watching the sun set and enjoying the piano music. Rooms are spotlessly clean and have everything you could need. Hotel does an excellent breakfast and evening snacks are available on the roof terrace. If you fancy something more substantial La Limonaia is only a short walk away. Bologna metro station is less than 10 mins walk from the hotel and gets you into Roma Termini within a very short time or the number 62 bus stops just down the road from the hotel and will get you into the city centre. If you book through Expedia just double check the city tax rate….current rate on hotel website is €6 pppn.

This hotel is a real "find." In a city that is otherwise bustling and noisy, this neighbourhood is an oasis of calm and quiet, with parks and gardens. Our room was relatively large and comfortable, and the hotel reception and other staff are efficient, friendly, and very helpful. The only.draw-back is that there is no restaurant except for breakfast.

The property was very clean, and unlike the other hotels I have been at the A/C worked perfectly. Not a standard US hotel room, no microwave or iron/board available . It did have a fridge and coffee maker. Breakfast was included which was an awesome spread of cheeses, meats, pastries etc!!

Een mooie, schone en net gerenoveerde accommodatie. Erg netjes en liggend aan een park met monniksparkieten. Verborgen pareltje in de stad. 5-10 minuten lopend vanaf de metro. Minpuntje: van buitenaf slecht vindbaar. Mis een vlag of beamer aan de straat.

My stay was great, all staff super friendly and helpful. Lovely views from the terrace and quiet surroundings. The only thing I would improve is to make the entrance sign a little more visible. At first you don't know where to go after the gate.

This property is perfect respite after the hustle and bustle of all the city excursions. It is one or two metro rides from the main attractions. Breakfast was sufficient to start you the day. Wednesday to Sunday they have roof top light meal dinning and I bought a bottle of wine since it was so good. The winery has history connected with the hotel. Please ask the history of the hotel. I was so happy to hear it 💕

This hotel was absolutely amazing! My sister and I loved the location. Although it’s a bit outside the main city centre, the subway was only about an 8-minute walk away, which made getting around Rome super easy. We even caught the high-speed train just a short 5-minute metro ride away! The staff were incredibly kind and helpful—they arranged a private airport transfer for both our arrival and departure, which made everything so convenient. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of options: cappuccinos, a variety of croissants and pastries, eggs, bacon, bread, and more! Everything was fresh and tasty. The cleanliness of this place really stood out. I’m quite particular about that, and I can honestly say the rooms were spotless. Housekeeping came by daily to clean and provide fresh towels, which was greatly appreciated. There were also lots of great and affordable food spots within walking distance—like Mamma Pizza, Alice Pizza, and a fantastic gelato shop. As Canadians, we found the prices really reasonable compared to other parts of Europe. Overall, we had an amazing stay and would definitely come back!

街の中心地からは外れていますが、地下鉄駅にも近く、非常に閑静な住宅街にあり静かです。 良い点 ・部屋が清潔 ・朝食が無料(種類は多く無い) ・フレンドリーなスタッフ 悪い点 ・シャワーのお湯がなかなか出てこない

The hotel is great. Our room is spacious and clean . They change our towels as needed and clean our room almost everyday. There’s a great terrace upstairs. There’s a bus and a 10 minutes walk subway. I enjoyed my stay the staffs are lovely and very polite. I highly recommended it.

It is a lovely old Italian building with lots of character. Staff are lovely and helpful. Rooms are a generous size and breakfast included was nice. It is a long walk into Rome so be prepared to Uber or use bus/metro which are close (both where extremely unreliable). There are nice restaurants and bars about a 10 min walk away. If you don't like noise this hotel is not for you as you can hear your neighbours and all the hallway noise. Roof top terrace is a nice touch to relax at the end of a day.

Very lovely room. Everything appeared new. The breakfast was quintessentially European and very tasty. Staff members at the reception desk and in the breakfast area were pleasant and helpful. Only “minus” was that the bed and the pillows were hard, but I find that to be the case in most hotels I’ve stayed in. I would happily return to the Hitel Delle Civette.

Les chambres sont tres bien ,propreté e qualité de la literie sont un vrai plus.Un seul petit probleme ,les chambres sont mal insonorisées ,on entend celles d'a côté.Hormis cela tout etait bien . Petit déjeuner convenable. Personnels tres agréables.

Für Rom ist es zwar ein eher günstiges Hotel und etwas abseits des großen Touristentrubels, aber leider extrem hellhörig. Aus einem Zimmer hörte ich einen laut schnarchenden Mann, aus dem anderen lief der Fernseher bis Mitternacht – zusätzlich war dort ein Pärchen deutlich zu hören. An erholsamen Schlaf war leider nicht zu denken. Ein anderes Zimmer konnte mir das Hotel auch nicht anbieten.

This hotel was beautiful and a perfect place to spend our stay in Rome! The rooms were spacious and clean. I did think the beds were a tiny bit uncomfortable, but that could just be my own opinion. The staff were all so friendly, helpful, and quick to give suggestions on things to do while visiting! Would absolutely stay here again!

We just left Rome and our Hotel was in very nice neighborhood close to Metro line B Bologna which is 9 min walk from hotel to connect us to city center. Beds were very comfortable we had 3 twin bed room with 2 long closets for all three of our clothes nice medium size bathroom and staff at front desk GREAT CREW

Hübsches Hotel in ruhiger und grüner Gegend. U-Bahn-Station ist gut erreichbar. Schöne Dachterrasse. Insbesondere das Personal an der Rezeption ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

As Canadians, we found the prices really reasonable compared to other parts of Europe. Overall, we had an amazing stay and would definitely come back!
This hotel was absolutely amazing! My sister and I loved the location. Although it’s a bit outside the main city centre, the subway was only about an 8-minute walk away, which made getting around Rome super easy. We even caught the high-speed train just a short 5-minute metro ride away! The staff were incredibly kind and helpful—they arranged a private airport transfer for both our arrival and departure, which made everything so convenient. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of options: cappuccinos, a variety of croissants and pastries, eggs, bacon, bread, and more! Everything was fresh and tasty. The cleanliness of this place really stood out. I’m quite particular about that, and I can honestly say the rooms were spotless. Housekeeping came by daily to clean and provide fresh towels, which was greatly appreciated. There were also lots of great and affordable food spots within walking distance—like Mamma Pizza, Alice Pizza, and a fantastic gelato shop. Location is safe and gated, staff is very nice and profesional, Paul, Elvis, Pia, some other staff very professional and very helpful she called me taxi multiple times, staff keep the hotel very clean, beautiful view, hotel is not far from train station, shop, cafeteria, coffee bar, pharmacy, supermarket, etc. Is nice and safe waking, I really had a great time, breakfast was really good a lot of choice and coffee was delicious. Room was clean, bed confortable, spacious, window you can open, also AC, confortable pillows, shower, mini bar. Only suggestion should have English tv channel news.

Fantastic stay at the Hotel Delle Civette. Staff were professional, polite, helpful and friendly. Roof terrace is fantastic for relaxed evenings watching the sun set and enjoying the piano music. Rooms are spotlessly clean and have everything you could need. Hotel does an excellent breakfast and evening snacks are available on the roof terrace. If you fancy something more substantial La Limonaia is only a short walk away. Bologna metro station is less than 10 mins walk from the hotel and gets you into Roma Termini within a very short time or the number 62 bus stops just down the road from the hotel and will get you into the city centre. If you book through Expedia just double check the city tax rate….current rate on hotel website is €6 pppn.

We just left Rome and our Hotel was in very nice neighborhood close to Metro line B Bologna which is 9 min walk from hotel to connect us to city center. Beds were very comfortable we had 3 twin bed room with 2 long closets for all three of our clothes nice medium size bathroom and staff at front desk GREAT CREW

The hotel is really nice and cosy, it’s clean and it’s located at a quiet nice area in Rom. Unfortunately when I left I was charged twice the city taxes one time at check in and the other on check out. Is this normal ? Also when I was leaving the hotel the elevator was out of service and I had a heavy luggage the man on the front seat never offered me any assistance… appart of that I still recommend the place just be careful about these details .

Upon arrival at this hotel, i was amazed at the beautiful building, so first impressions were very good, however, check in took longer than it should have. Due to a flight delay we didnt arrive until midnight, and it seemed the gentleman on reception didnt seem to know what he was doing. This became apparent the following evening when the hotel room phone rang at midnight, waking us up. Our passport numbers were not registered and they felt it acceptable to call at this hour! Very bad judgement of the staff member and i wasnt impressed. Also, this hotel is quite a trek to the main centre of Rome so buses and taxi's are a must. I found this a little inconvenient. The menu sounds great and well priced, but the food was very average and small portioned. I would not recommend eating your main evening meal here, unless you arrive late. They also state that the restaurant closes at 10.30pm, however i was told they were closing and it was before 10pm. I then asked if they were happy to offer a snack and they said they dont offer snacks, although they offer small round biscuits and peanuts with a glass of wine. We had a guest who needs to eat with their medication so I felt quite dismissed. The rooms are very clean, and the breakfast staff (one lady in particular) was very friendly. However, breakfast options are limited and mainly consist of cheese, ham and pastries, with some watery cubed melon that didnt look daily fresh. Again, very average. I wouldn't choose to stay again.

I loved that the hotel was new and clean. All the staff were very helpful, went above and beyond to answer the many questions I had. They patiently helped point me in the right direction for all my queries and the breakfast was delicious. Equally importantly the wifi was brilliant throughout the entire building. Highly recommended and will be back again asap!!!!

I really enjoyed my stay here. It’s safe, convenient to the metro and bus lines. You can reach the city center via public transport. The hotel is an oasis away from the busyness of downtown. I did not have enough time but there is a lovely terrace and garden parks nearby. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The only thing to keep in mind is that if you need to get back to your hotel after the day of sightseeing, then a more centrally located hotel might be better. But if you are going to be out all day have dinner and a gelato, then come back to the oasis, this is the perfect place.

The hotel experience was good. Good dine in breakfast and great staff. Very clean overall and close to the Bologna train station! However, i would not stay pass 9pm since the walk back to the hotel was dark, not much light at the entrance of the hotel.

This property was in newly renovated condition unlike any other I have ever stayed at in Rome. It had been part of the original Villa Torlonia and is located outside of the noisy, crowded, touristy sites which made it pleasant. If there was any drawback it was there were not many restaurants close by so access to the Metro, buses and taxis will be necessary.

The breakfast menu was perfect, everything that you would or could need for breakfast. The staff were very helpful with tips on where to eat and also get the best gelato. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to any other travelers!!!

Beautiful place, great people, extremely safe and clean! I would recommend more food options for improvement because you can only eat at breakfast time and the “mini bar” for drinks in the rooms are subject to charge, however no food or snacks at the property. Despite that, we had a great stay and we left with a great impression of it.

This property is perfect respite after the hustle and bustle of all the city excursions. It is one or two metro rides from the main attractions. Breakfast was sufficient to start you the day. Wednesday to Sunday they have roof top light meal dinning and I bought a bottle of wine since it was so good. The winery has history connected with the hotel. Please ask the history of the hotel. I was so happy to hear it 💕

Bathroom was great and had a powerful shower. Beds and pillows were very comfortable for us…firm but not hard. 2 wardrobes with drawers and bedside tables also had drawers. Safe in the wardrobe. Overall a very nice stay at this hotel. I am new to Rome so it is difficult to say what the standard usually is but this hotel is in a quiet and safe part of town but still withing walking distance of very nice restaurants (Osteria Urbana is great!) and the Bologna Metro station. We decided to walk to the Colosseum which took us 45 minutes going past the Fontana di trevi. The view from the patio is very beautiful with lush vegetation and quite a few green parrots to keep one looking ever towards the sky. The breakfast buffet is OK, nothing spectacular but there is a wide range of alternatives. Staff is very helpful and always on hand and we enjoyed every interaction with them as they are so kind and warm. One negative for us was the lack of free bottled water which I do think should be standard in an hotel but that is perhaps just a personal thing for us.
