The Hand Hotel Llangollen by Compass Hospitality

The Hand Hotel was the wrong choice for me as a place to stay in Llangollen. I stayed on a Friday and Saturday nights and both nights it was noisy at the hotel either just from people talking at the hotel or a band playing music. I am not saying that it was a bad place to stay, rather that it just wasn't right for me and that was my fault, because I chose it. The breakfast is not included and at just under 15 pounds per person, I went elsewhere to eat. The room was okay and there was a view of the River Dee.

Altes, herziges, recht grosses Hotel, welches gar nicht so gross wirkt. Unser Zimmer war herzig, gross und sauber mit genügend Kaffee/Tee usw und die Betten waren sehr bequem. Alles neigte sich etwas in diverse Richtungen, was wir sehr charmant und lustig fanden. Das Hotel hat keinen Fahrstuhl. Das Bad mit Dusche ist sehr eng und nur für schlanke Menschen gemacht, aber gut ausgestattet und die Dusche funktionierte einwandfrei. Zum Hotel gehören eine Menge Parkplätze (8£/Tag). Es hat ein Restaurant, einen Pub und viele Tische draussen an denen man bei schönem Wetter sitzen kann. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist in einem wunderschönen, alten Saal. Es hat eine grosse Auswahl an qualitativ guten warmen und kalten Speisen und das Personal ist sehr gut organisiert. Es hat uns gut gefallen und wir würden wieder buchen.

Excellent breakfast. Hotel is a little dated but in my opinion this added to its charm. This was my first stay, I will certainly stay again

Zimmer sind in Ordnung, aber mit einem komplizierten und veralteten Knopfdreh Schliessmechanismus.
