The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The actual facility was in general run down with carpet stains in the stairs, elevator was broken, over all needs a big refresh.

The motel is currently being renovated. Our room was in almost new condition and clean. For a modestly priced hotel one counn't expect more. The area has a number of nearby restaurants, so this is a great p,ace for an overnight stay while on a road trip.

Is advertised with ev charging. I specifically chose this hotel so this would be included. There is no ev charging station on the property. Had to go to Circle k and pay for charging. False advertising! Very disappointing!

Stayed 2 separate nights. Put on 3rd floor as it was “newly renovated.” No phone in room either time. No garbage can & couldn’t call front desk due to no phone. No hot water for showers either stay. Elevator was not working on the day of we checked out. Had to carry luggage down 3 flights of stairs only to be met by fake lobby bushes in the hallway. No apology. You get what by pay for. Never again.

Reserved this hotel on a family trip for website citing an outdoor area with fire pit and new renovations and pool. They are in middle of renovations for sure. Only one floor is done. Fire pit and outdoor area non-functional. Pool dirty. Grass overgrown. I even asked about the fire pit at check-in and how much I was looking forward to relaxing around it. The front desk attendant just said yeah, it’s really nice out there. Breakfast was pitiful, no waffles. Juices so sour and concentrated as to be inedible. Then the real deal breaker. On our way to checkout, we got stuck in the elevator. Just stopped between floors. Tried using emergency phone and alarm with just a few mumbles thru speaker. Luckily, two housekeepers were on elevator with us and were about to call front desk and get help started. They were the saving grace. (Kudos to Ariel!) Still had to wait in a tiny hot elevator with 7 people, including a 4 year old, for firemen and staff to hunt keys and get us out. Lights even went out once and elevator would start and stop with jerks a few times. Unsure if it was going to fall or what? Finally the firemen got us out on 3rd floor and we had to carry our luggage down 3 floors. My 83 year old mother, who just had a hip replacement, had to climb down all the stairs. We checked out and spoke to front desk about possible discount or refund and they just laughed and asked if we wanted a receipt. Renovations look like they’ll be nice when finished but not yet.

The offered hot breakfast at the related hotel next door was also not much more and tasted terrible.the advertised area for dogs to run free was not existing. Great and convenient location. Ice machine wasn’t working which was disappointing. Breakfast was great. Staff very helpful. Hot water went away to quick. Shower head needs replacing. Overall great stay.

Huge roaches in my bathroom two night's. One fell out of the tub spout as I was filling the tub. The front desk clerk didn't offer anything except a bottle of Raid and only after she saw the expression on my face and I was so distraught I could hardly talk. I have yet to be comped or even be moved to a different room.

This place had high ratings but it was terrible. The check in was inconvenient. The room wasn't clean in AC unit kept moisture in the rug and every surface in the room a slip hazzard. The shower door handle was broken. The shower had 2 used bars of soap in it. I was highly disappointed.

First room given had mold on the sheets and the under pad. The whole hotel smelled of mildew. Air conditioner in room didn't work well. Had to purchase a fan to be comfortable for our 7 day stay. Front desk staff was pleasant. Would never stay again.

The room made me very sick. I took a nap and woke up with my face swollen, could barely breath with a horrible cough. I am VERY ALLERGIC to mold. I immediately left the room and asked for a refund. They told me I would have to ask for it through Expedia, even though I paid them directly. I rented a different hotel room and asked Expedia for a refund. A WEEK LATER, Expedia told me they couldn’t get in contact the hotel management so I couldn’t get a refund. So I got sick and paid double for one night because their rooms are moldy. DO NOT STAY HERE.

The floors were sticky, the room smelled of mold, the shower and bath were not cleaned, there was no toilet paper, everything was gross. I saw how the cleaner cleans the tile floors with a spray bottle and a mop that is meant for a wet mop bucket application. It’s no wonder the floors are disgusting. The mop head is never cleaned.

My son and I were traveling for a family visit. The room I had booked was, I thought, supposed to have a tub, it didn't. The shower was a nice walk-in, so I didn't ask for a different room, however the soap and shampoo had been left from the previous tenant. The coffee maker in the room didn't have the tray to hold the coffee filter, but the nice lady at the front desk got one for me. The beds were very comfortable, and the front desk staff very nice. The bathroom was just very upsetting. Nobody wants to see hairy soap in their shower.

I’ve stayed at this property 3 times in the last month for a total of 6 nights. The hotel is undergoing renovations and modernization. I stayed in a room that hadn’t been upgraded. The staff were amazing and welcomed me back. Breakfast was adequate. Rooms were clean and had adequate outlets for charging devices. My only complaint is the water pressure and availability of hot water. I had to let the shower run for over 10 minutes to get warm water, hot water was out of the question. Also, on my most recent stay, the TV in my room was wholly inadequate. Half the size of the other rooms I’ve seen and it only got about 6-8 weird deep cable channels. That’s usually not a problem because I travel with an Amazon FireStick. This tv didn’t have an HDMI port because it was probably from the Kennedy administration.

Check in was awesome. I was greeted right away and i had pre-checked in and she already knew who i was. The only down fall id say was how loud the AC is in the rooms.

Found the room to be very clean, bed and pillows were excellent, my wife says bed was a little hard for he liking, but much better then the last place we stayed. Would definitely stay here again, parking lot was messy but there construction goin on in the area. Hotel appeared to be lacking a handyman. A lot of little damage on the corners and walls in the hallways, but I tend to have an excellent eye for that stuff. Over all it was a nice stay

Our room was clean, but a little damp. The room that we had was right next to the elevator, so we had our sleep disturbed multiple times during the night by late night travelers arriving and getting out of the elevator.

Waited at front desk for 20 minutes with no one working when I came to check in. Staff finally arrived stating it was shift change. Got to my room and the keys didn’t works. Neither of them. So I lug all my stuff back down to the first floor to get new ones. Hot water in the shower? Not even a drop. 0/10 happy with this stay.

Great price compared to other hotels. Very clean, easy check in and check out. Frances (evening manager) is excellent as is the morning manager… didn’t get his name, but he also managed the breakfast. Coffee was flavorless, but it was liquid and hot! Might change your brand. Eggs, sausage, milk, juices, cereals, instant oatmeal, yogurt, bakery items made up a good breakfast. Room was big, with two queens. Would like a small shelf in shower to place soap, shampoo, razor, etc. and what hotel in this universe doesn’t have a toilet paper holder?? Oh… this one! No big deal. I’m not sure why staff knocked on our door before 9am to see if they could be of help with anything. I didn’t call the desk. Again, a knock on the door at 9:30am. Why? Everything was fine until morning no juice glasses no syrup for waffles no yogurt the girl at the desk was wearing a filthy Wingate shirt and a dirty hoodie and she couldn’t be bothered with anything I asked for she told me to go into the supply room and look myself so we decided to just leave and buy breakfast elsewhere

No one was at the front desk when I got there. People was waiting there was a number that you had to call that no one was answering it. Waiting 10 more minutes then called the number again that’s when someone answered and came out the back. Other than that my day was good. Will book again

I booked here over a month ago, I did on line check in however when we got there at 11pm there was no room for us, although it was confirmed and paid for. The hotel had a musty mold smell to it and was damp. The front desk staff was nice however I won’t be booking there again. We had to look for another place to stay at midnight and ended up costing an additional $100.00 then we had originally planned.

Staff was very pleasant and helpful because I needed a blanket and she went and she got one for me actually she got me two blankets very pleasant housekeeping. They were very pleasant and helpful. I would recommend your hotel to my friends that are staying in Kingsland.

I wish I could say I had some likes regarding the property but I can't at this time. I had a problem with my room. The bed appeared to be slept in, and there was hair on both sides of the bed on the top sheet and the bottom sheet. I went back downstairs, explained my dissatisfaction and requested a refund. The attendant was not able to help me and stated the manager would call me the next day. I never received the call still waiting till this day. I also went back by the property two days later the manager was not there and it was also stated that they would call me. Almost one week later still no return from the property manager. I do not recommend staying at this hotel. very disappointed with the hotel. pictures of the room conditions were also presented to the hotelattendant.

Nice updated room with comfortable beds. Entire place was very clean and fresh smelling. A little off the road so very quiet. Several nearby restaurants and hotel provides a decent complimentary breakfast. All in all an excellent place to overnight when traveling I-95.

The hotel is very good. Our room was good and had a newly renovated bathroom. It was quiet and I had an excellent night's sleep. I did not give it a five star because the breakfast was mismanaged. There was no coffee. The hot water machine for tea did not work. The microwave did not work. True, these are minor things and I only point them out for the benefit of management to make the fixes.

The room was very clean, except it had a strong musty smell. By the bathroom there was a very strong chemical smell. There was no hot water the night we checked in, but there was in the morning. Breakfast consisted of a few bagels and English muffins with mostly empty counter space. While the room had been updated, there were many items missed. The door stuck so we had to give it a hard push to open or close it. All of the corners where the floor meets the walls were unfinished, the tile in the shower was new, but they used the old rusted hand bar. We will not stay at this chain in the future.

The positives: safe area, right off I95, looks recently updated inside. The negatives: the 7-9 am breakfast runs out of hot food at 8 am and no one replenishes it. The smoke detector buzzed loudly on and off all night. My shower water never warmer than room temperature. On the positive side, the front desk clerk let me use a shower with hot water in a vacant room. Still, this was not a good first experience at this hotel.

Reserved this hotel on a family trip for website citing an outdoor area with fire pit and new renovations and pool. They are in middle of renovations for sure. Only one floor is done. Fire pit and outdoor area non-functional. Pool dirty. Grass overgrown. I even asked about the fire pit at check-in and how much I was looking forward to relaxing around it. The front desk attendant just said yeah, it’s really nice out there. Breakfast was pitiful, no waffles. Juices so sour and concentrated as to be inedible. Then the real deal breaker. On our way to checkout, we got stuck in the elevator. Just stopped between floors. Tried using emergency phone and alarm with just a few mumbles thru speaker. Luckily, two housekeepers were on elevator with us and were about to call front desk and get help started. They were the saving grace. (Kudos to Ariel!) Still had to wait in a tiny hot elevator with 7 people, including a 4 year old, for firemen and staff to hunt keys and get us out. Lights even went out once and elevator would start and stop with jerks a few times. Unsure if it was going to fall or what? Finally the firemen got us out on 3rd floor and we had to carry our luggage down 3 floors. My 83 year old mother, who just had a hip replacement, had to climb down all the stairs. We checked out and spoke to front desk about possible discount or refund and they just laughed and asked if we wanted a receipt. Renovations look like they’ll be nice when finished but not yet.

So I recently stayed at the property for two different visits. My first visit, we had a room where the beds were made with only two flat sheets for blankets. No comforter or duvet in between. The ac system is loud as heck and rattles louder than an industrial ice maker. The bathroom had hair in the showers from the last guest. My second visit was this past weekend and the room smelled musty or almost like mild dew. One of the bed sets had sheets with yellow stains on it so a second set was requested. The second set has old period stains on it. Again, ac unit was loud as hell. This room also smelled musty. And why do the rooms not have any type of toilet paper holder? Has a coffee maker with no cups and no ice bucket in the room. The gym has the bare minimum for equipment, couldn’t even tell you if they were functionable. Breakfast options were slim pickings. Also thing I DID enjoy on the property was the pool anmenity. It was nicely kept, spacious and had entertainment. Like that large chess area and the mini golf. They also had great staff both times I went. Moral of the story… this is definitely a “you get what you pay for” scenarios.
