Travelodge by Wyndham Kingsland GA

It was TERRIBLE. Number 1- they charge you a deposit from 25$-75$ upon arrival that is not disclosed online, Number 2- the pool is not open. It shows a clean, blue, open pool online. In person is what appears to be a sess pool of green slime that is covered by a black tarp & rocks. If you call ahead they say it’s open, Number 2- the rooms are horrendous. The lights don’t work, tv doesn’t work, air conditioning doesn’t work, showers are dirty and don’t work. The owner intentionally gives you dirty stained towels & bed linens. Charges you the deposit, then REFUSES to refund it because —-you’ll never guess—- your towels & linens are stained, Number 4- there’s are absolutely no amenities as listed. No laundry. No breakfast. The “breakfast” is pb crackers which the owner gets mad if you take. Number 5- long term & pet friendly hotel. Hope you’re good with seeing trash piled up all around the grounds. All you have to look at is the trashy areas & the hotel next door. Couldn’t figure out why that one was sold out but this one had 5 people. I figured it out QUICKLY. Number 6- absolutely zero housekeeping & the rooms were filthy upon entry. You are denied a new room as well. The owner will use this against you ok your deposit. Here’s an example “if your room was so filthy why didn’t you ask for a new room?” & when you say you did, reality is denied. The man that owns this place is a crook.

Fire alarms going off starting at345am

For 50 bucks worth it,for me and my service dog,all i needed was clean sheets even if looks old,stained,smelt of burnt dryer, and a shower, that dribbled..and an area for him to use and easy..towels were stained and smelt of burnt dryer too..there is no pool or breakfast as advertised...frogs live in the pool. I checked in Monday, and housekeeping for extended stay is Tuesdays and Friday's, so i said,see them Friday. Friday all they did,was make my 4 day slept in bed..no clean sheets...pet too ..ugh..and clean stained towels..i caught the non speaking or understanding English..but knew i wanted my sheets cleaned...oh and take lysol spray, wipes,and incense.most important a swiffer to clean the nasty floors. Get what you pay for i guess..lol but served my in and out needs...

The towels were filthy. There were people sleeping in their cars in the parking lot. There’s no breakfast. No housekeeping. The floors were filthy. The bathroom was small, stinky, and dirty. The outside is definitely trashed and needs to be cleaned up.

This hotel i will never stay at again. The tub and toilet was dirty, The pillowcase had makeup stains on them and hair, The sheets had pee stains on them hair all in the bed, dirt at bottom of bed, Dirty towels with stains on them and discolored, Duvets had blacks all over them it was just horrible. I had a total of 9 rooms. I called front desk he said there out of clean linen and the shift person does laundry. It was a horrible stay. They also had clean linen in a closet so instead of giving my players and myself some clean linen her just locked the linen door. The elevator had a out of order sign on it but the housekeeper used the elevator.

We desperately needed a place to stay, however we should have viewed the room prior to settling in. All of the towels are stained and damp, sheets on bed stained, the pool is a swamp and not available for use. Entire hotel is in disrepair. Everyone smoking in non designated areas. A loy of longterm residents with lots of children playing loudly outside. Ended our weekend with a fight breaking out in the hotel right next door and police arresting sveral guests. Unsure how long the renovations have been going, but dont think they'll be finished anytime soon.

Abandoned vehicles and furniture strewn throughout the parking area, individuals under the influence roaming outside the room, paint peeling from the ceiling and sheets stained beyond use. We felt the hotel was unsafe and therefore left. Being unable to raise the sleeping attendant behind the locked exterior door was the final insult to paying for a room for 20 minutes.

Unfortunately this hotel is awful. I booked this because it has a pool, the clerk said its under repair but its a green swamp which hasn't been operable in a long time snd no repairs attempted. The room is filthy and disgusting. Drips on furniture and floors, sink and tub has literal dirt which could easily be scrubbed, mirrors smeared and dirty, dirt built up in corners, room not swept. Hard water built up behind faucet. Elevator broke, old a/c units layed in all the halls, a tall old moldy dresser in the breezeway, the breezeway is filty with dirt gathered and huge mud dobber nests and spiders gathered in all the corners. The fixtires are spotted with hard water build up, the mini fridge leaked a huge water puddle. When we walked in the a/c wasnt on, its June in Florida so it was unbearably hot, we put it on a had to leave to sit in a restaurant until it cooled. Awful experience all around. TERRRRRIBLE!!! I have 2 babies, I’m here handling business matters due to a death in the family. I check in at like 2-3 AM (I paid 20 for an early check in) I had to get 3 DIFFERENT ROOMS AS SOON AS WE GOT THERE. I get in the first room, it’s blood stains and it smells like garlic and old strong cat urine, SECOND ROOM as soon as I walked in a wolf spider fell on my arm as I was opening the door, and it had urine stains on the white sheets and the fridge was leaking water all over the floor… this leads to our 3rd room at 3am. It had blood stains on the floor, boogers on the walls at eye level for your kids to snack on, the tub had a ring around it like it hasn’t been cleaned since installation… ok fast forward... I asked if we could have a clean fitted sheet ( we have 2 beds, we spilled something on one of the sheets and we would have been good) the OWNER refused to give me a fitted sheet, I recorded it, he threatened me if I didn’t delete my video THEN CALLED THE POLICE ON US. UNFORTUNATELY it won’t let me upload the video but I will send it to whomever is considering this TIHS

My bathroom curtain had blood on it, and we had bugs in the room.

I had blood on my toilet

This property is poorly kept and the room was filthy. There was mould growing on the shower. The floors were dirty, bathtub stained, dirty mirror over the sink. And paint missing from some of the walls. Wyndham should be ashamed to have their name associated with this property. 👎👎

Convenient location. Good for overnight travel stay. Lighting not working properly. Telephone not working.

Floor in room needs lots of work. A/C in poor working condition. Refrigerator did not cool

There was hot water and a bed. The room was so hot it took hours for the air conditioner to cool the room. The bed spread was stained.

There was hair in the bed and something plastered all over several surfaces, including walls, tables, picture frames and floor. There was no knob to turn on the shower it was an old rusted out welding wrench and it was very dirty anyway. Half of the lights in the room didn’t work and curtains don’t close all of the way, I had to use a hair clip.

Very inexpensive, very old motel. Bed was comfortable.

The room smelled like sewage. Could not see car/parking lot from room. The breakfast room contained a pot of coffee - no cups with lids to go. Appeared that some guests were living there.

First room did not lock, car load of guys staring at me from parking lot felt unsafe. Second room was ok but very basic and way better options for the price in the area.

We have stayed there twice. It's nothing fancy. Got checked in and out easily. Everything worked-- TV, fridge, microwave, free wifi, One king bed, and room was spacious. Things were clean.

I absolutely love the location. It's right off I-95 and close to many different restaurants. The lady at the front desk was very knowledgeable, friendly and check-in was a breeze. The room was comfortable and there was no loud noises even on a Friday night. The only thing we saw was some cobwebs behind the night stand and the floor needed to be cleaned but we are in Georgia where it rains daily and spiders are everywhere :(
