Property under refurbishment. Many old mattresses in parking lot. Originally given a room under construction, 2nd one was refurbished. Newer beds and counter tops will be better than older ones. No hair dryer in room. For $69 rate it was what you can expect.

I try to be as respectful as possible. However the room had so many bugs and spiders I almost slept in my car. The room smelled , was broken down, many things rusted from humidity, and wood furniture and wood in poor condition. The room was also dirty. As for the Continental breakfast, it was coffee, the mini chocolate donuts and mini muffins. Both were about the size of a half dollar. That was it. The pool also looks as if no one had cleaned it. I was so grossed out I went and bought some bug spray, slept in my clothes on a beach towel I had and didn't do anything but leave as soon as I woke up. I can understand this is an inexpensive hotel, but that doesn't mean it should be cheap, dirty, disgusting and not maintained.

So far everything was fine. Lobby nice. Hotel exterior was bright. Room nice. Two things to note: Parking is a little tight. Bath tub seemed a little slippery than normal.

The place was great but couple of people were making sounds during night I couldn’t concentrate to sleep. Also I went to do check out 3:00am and didn’t find nobody there so had to dropped the keys and leave. Also they have no pool available and I choose the place because the pool.

The room did not reflect what was shown and suggested in images and description. They were redoing door locks and there was a problem getting us a functional key; we were not allowed 2 "because we do not have enough." When booking on hotels.com, it said that would be our final cost, but they added a $4.99 charge for booking though the site and not directly. The room key also stopped working the evening before we checked out and there was no one in the office (fortunately one of our party was still in the room). Additionally, the health inspection indicated cross contamination with the potable water, we could hear all the sounds from the surrounding rooms, the bathroom door did not close all the way, the luggage rack and hangers on the wall in the bathroom area did not seem safe for any kind of weight and there were several roaches. While I do not recall the listing saying there was breakfast or coffee provided it was from 6-9am. However the coffee was very weak and the breakfast was packaged mini chocolate donuts or mini blueberry muffins.

The room was clearly not clean. I was able to wipe stains off with a napkin and water, which means the cleaner never even touched it. Ended up just checking out right away and leaving without a refund. Definitely learned my lesson.

To top it all off the manager tried to charge me for the flimsy knock off keurig plastic coffee packet holder that was inconveniently missing along with any kind of blankets save for a bed cover about twice the thickness of a sheet and one quarter as longfrom the atrtacharge me $100 for the flimsythes flimsy coffee

Staff was friendly but beds were very uncomfortable. One of our rooms smelled like someone had been smoking weed in there. Bathtubs were in great need of repair. Hotel had breakfast that consisted of only little chocolate doughnuts and little chocolate chip muffins. TV in one room was leaning forward because the base out had been broken by a previous guest or staff. General cleanings was poor. Rooms were not clean. Definitely wouldn’t stay again.

I have stayed here several times primarily due to price as I only needed a stop over to rest while driving and can’t afford a pricey hotel for a few hours. I was happily surprised to see the renovations made to make this a very nice inn. I had neglected to book a first floor room due to some slight mobility concerns and the desk clerk managed to switch me from second floor which I very much appreciated. The room featured a full size fridge, was very clean with a comfortable bed. My short stay was very enjoyable and this will be always be my first choice in the future.

We checked in late, after 10:30pm, and our front desk attendant went out of her way to help us with problems with our room and find us a better room to stay in. The first room we were put in reeked of cigarette smoke and the lock of broken. The people outside of and beside that room were outside smoking cigars and weed and talking and laughing loudly. The next room she put us in was newly renovated and perfect, but the outside area as very dirty and had old room furnishings and mattresses everywhere from the renovations.

There must have been a breaker tripped. Fridge, cooktop and TV wouldn’t work. Desk said they would have moved me when I brought it up at checkout but I was too tired last night. Just went to bed. Tub faucet dripped constantly also, I dropped a towel in the tub to deaden the noise. Room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Staff was wonderful. They tanked me for pointing out the problems.

Desk staff did not hold the reservation. All rooms were filled when I arrived. The last empty room was rented immediately before my arrival. Desk staff said she was ignoring internet reservations So I did not get a was room. Please refund my expense as I had to go elsewhere and pay a second time for a place to stay on this night. Reservation I made on hotels.com was cancelled by the hotel before I arrived. They admitted the mistake was on their end. I had to go back on hotels.com to rebook the room - fortunately the price and room room I waslookingfor was still available. They were no help on this.re

Pre booked and paid. Was going to be late arriving so tried calling three times with no answer. Arrived at hotel at midnight. Front desk closed with a note saying no rooms available. Number on note to call was "Out of service". Found an attendant button and woke up guy who had to call manager at Motel 6 across road. Luckily they had a room but not type we booked. They blamed problem on Expedia overbbooking. This should not have happened.

I booked the room prior to arriving, firstly it would not let me pay on the app to reserve the room until I arrived which is not okay. After arriving the owner of the hotel came to the night window and when I told him I had a reservation he pretended to look at the computer the. Said he couldn't find it. He proceed to deny seeing a reservation even after showing him a confirmation number and confirmed email. After I told him I would be calling Expedia to send the reservation through again because he was saying he didn't see it he told me to do that because he didn't have it. I spent the next 3 hours calling Expedia being on hold and trying to level with this Man when the case was escalated and the representative wanted him to confirm he didn't have my reservation he didn't bat an eye but asked for my id amd pretended to make a check in and just giving me a key when I asked for a receipt he told me no not until morning. What?!!! He put me in a double bed room when I reserved a deluxe King and also he never gave me a receipt and they cancelled my Expedia reservation but charged my card the full price then some. The receipt printed said 47

He proceed to deny seeing a reservation even after showing him a confirmation number and confirmed email. After I told him I would be calling Expedia to send the reservation through again because he was saying he didn't see it he told me to do that because he didn't have it. I spent the next 3 hours calling Expedia being on hold and trying to level with this Man when the case was escalated and the representative wanted him to confirm he didn't have my reservation he didn't bat an eye but asked for my id amd pretended to make a check in and just giving me a key when I asked for a receipt he told me no not until morning. What?!!! He put me in a double bed room when I reserved a deluxe King and also he never gave me a receipt and they cancelled my Expedia reservation but charged my card the full price then some. They did not have a room available when I showed up at 7:00pm with a confirmed reservation. Two of them talking to me at once with a third on the phone. A mess! Finally transferred me to a 'sister' property Motel 6 about half mile away. That worked okay but was in a rather shady part of town. Survived, but would definitely NOT recommend this place.

I have stayed here several times primarily due to price as I only needed a stop over to rest while driving and can’t afford a pricey hotel for a few hours. I was happily surprised to see the renovations made to make this a very nice inn. I had neglected to book a first floor room due to some slight mobility concerns and the desk clerk managed to switch me from second floor which I very much appreciated. The room featured a full size fridge, was very clean with a comfortable bed. My short stay was very enjoyable and this will be always be my first choice in the future.

Owner is nasty, a very rude man. He tried to keep my deposit saying he smelled cigarette smoke and i would never even dream of giving them th opportunity to charge my card $250 for a cleaning fee. Then threw the deposit at me and told me to get out and dont come blocked my name from renting again..

Front desk ladies are awesome, even tho they have no air conditioning in the area they work, and its extremely hot outside, their attitudes were perky and they remained very professional!

This property was nice - room clean, great location to restaurants and shopping. The only issue was I wish the mattress wasn’t lumpy and soft. The hotel is dated, but for the price, I can’t complain too much.

Very friendly staff, (accept the night lady) Budget friendly hotel right off interstate and surrounded by gas stations and restaurants. We had one issue with upstairs room flooding into our downstairs unit, but hotel staff addressed isssue immediately and moved us to a new room. Will stay again!

The room did not reflect what was shown and suggested in images and description. They were redoing door locks and there was a problem getting us a functional key; we were not allowed 2 "because we do not have enough." When booking on hotels.com, it said that would be our final cost, but they added a $4.99 charge for booking though the site and not directly. The room key also stopped working the evening before we checked out and there was no one in the office (fortunately one of our party was still in the room). Additionally, the health inspection indicated cross contamination with the potable water, we could hear all the sounds from the surrounding rooms, the bathroom door did not close all the way, the luggage rack and hangers on the wall in the bathroom area did not seem safe for any kind of weight and there were several roaches. While I do not recall the listing saying there was breakfast or coffee provided it was from 6-9am. However the coffee was very weak and the breakfast was packaged mini chocolate donuts or mini blueberry muffins.

My husband and I needed a place to stay for the night in our travels to Florida. We arrived late evening and left early in the morning. The staff both times were pleasant and helpful. We were both pleasantly surprised with the motel. The room looked like it had just been redone. The floors were LVP and not carpet (which to me is much cleaner). If I could submit pictures, I would. The room was clean and had a pleasant smell to it. Kept cool all evening, and the mattress was comfortable. It not only had a refrigerator, but a microwave and a glass top two burner stove top. It was tucked away far in the back, so there was no road noise, yet offered easy access back onto I-95. We were looking for a cheap place to stay, and Magnolia offered that. They did not offer the breakfast buffet, but had fresh coffee and some muffins. We would stay here again should our travels take us that way.

The property manager Mr G does patrol the property to make sure there is no nonsense going on and that does make you feel safe, however his English isn't very good. The housekeeper Sheila is very nice and very helpful. We did encounter an issue with bugs over our 8 day stay, but she was prompt to get pest control started immediately. The parking is my only gripe really. It's very hard to find parking after 6pm. I would stay again in the future though.

The staff didn't speak English well. Room was clean and bed comfortable. My biggest problem was the man nextdoor was so loud I could hear his entire conversation, smell his smoke, and hear him banging on the walls in anger.
