Nice location on the coast walk and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The property is a bit shabby. The shower fixture was difficult to use as the temperature control knob was extremely stiff. And the carpet in the rooms felt dirty.

We booked 2 sea view rooms for 3 nights. Only one room had a sea view and the bathroom in that room had black mould around the ceiling. The other room had a very old mattress and the bedding was old and thin. The pillows in that room were flat. We checked out after 1 night and will not be back. Whilst the staff were friendly, this hotel needs refurbishment, new mattresses, new duvets, pillows, blankets and linen. Mould is injurious to health and no hotel of the calibre that this hotel claims to be should have it.

We arrived late due to the ferry being delayed but the excellent staff were both welcoming and accommodating in rustling up something to eat after the kitchen had closed. Great location, friendly staff and a good, clean comfortable room.

Friendly and helpful receptionist. Very professional approach by not shouting out the room number but just giving the key cards - excellent. Dinner was also excellent with good service. Room very comfortable. Not much of a view but no complaints.

The room was very spacious with comfortable beds and a good shower and the area was quiet at night. The choice of breakfasts was excellent and the view from the restaurant was an added bonus.

We Stayed in Room 9 (ground floor), very noisy room, lots of noise above and to the side of the room, terrible nights sleep. Bed was hard, the bathroom and hotel in general looked like it was still back in the 80’s. My advice, stay elsewhere!

After having stayed at the property when it was a fully functional hotel the bed and breakfast that it now is was a bit disappointing. The building was clean and the room was comfortable but there was no room service and apart from breakfast, no other meals available. Reception is manned during the day but if you arrive after five you have to let yourself in and find your room. The staff were extremely helpful. Breakfast buffet was disappointing.

After having stayed at the property when it was a fully functional hotel the bed and breakfast that it now is was a bit disappointing. The building was clean and the room was comfortable but there was no room service and apart from breakfast, no other meals available. Reception is manned during the day but if you arrive after five you have to let yourself in and find your room. The staff were extremely helpful. Breakfast buffet was disappointing.

The staff were extremely nice and helpful. Excellent location. The property is old, tired and damp. The rooms were clean but smelled damp. Classic old property well past its sell by date.

The hotel was referred by a friend who said the hotel was fabulous and the food fantastic. When we arrived we were told there was no food at all. Breakfast for £17.00 each so we didn’t agree to that. The room was good apart from the toilet which did not flush every time. The location is lovely.

Tv in the room didn't work i paid for a Seaview and suite didn't get Seaview. No water in the room and it was so hot.

Check in lady was friendly and helpful. Check out guy was very indifferent / did not say anything to us.. The location is great, overlooking the seafront. Parking was free and we had no trouble getting a space. It's about a 15 minute walk to the main shops/restaurants in Cowes. Our room was spacious, but very stuffy due to the window being quite small and its location being unable to let air through. Thankfully there was a ceiling fan which helped but could have been a bit stronger. We had room only so cannot comment on breakfast. There was a lovely balcony area overlooking the seafront and they were about to set up some extra garden furniture (with parasols) on the other side of the reception area, allowing for more outdoor seating/space. There was a kettle in the room, with tea/coffee (and extra available in reception). Toiletries were a handwash and an all-in-one hair/body wash. A great location for the seafront.
